El Cielo - Miami
50 BEST RESTAURANTS LATIN AMERICA SAN PELLEGRINO 2013, 2014 AND 2015
MODERNISTIC CUSINE WITH LATIN AND COLOMBIAN INFLUENCE USING LOCAL PRODUCTS.
Was a great experience. Good food. But for $650 for two of us was a lot.
Unbelievable dining Experience. The 17 course tasting menu and wine pairing, the Experience, is expensive, but absolutely worth the price. Highlight is the Chocotherapy which was fun, delicious and luxurious. Each course is amazing and the staff goes to great lengths to explain each one. Do not hesitate!!
The food was interesting but not necessarily worth the price of the full experience. I’d recommend to have just the “Journey” which is the same menu but with 5-6 less “moments” that don’t add much to the experience.
Best experience I ever had I will definitely come back
One of a kind experience, pricey but we’ll worth it.
The food and experience was great but after the meal, my wife and I spent the night with a very heavy stomachache. I emailed the restaurant asking if they were aware of any problema with the ingredients (we suspect it was the oyster dish) but never received a response. Unacceptable
Such a fun dining experience with the tasting menu of 17 courses. A special treat. Best dish was the tree of life yucca cheese bread!!
We experience the 17 course with wine pairings tasting menu.
The was amazing with excellent presentation and fabulous service overall.
The best dining experience I’ve ever enjoyed.
Recomendado a ojos cerrados.
All of the the 13 courses were sweet.
It was extraordinary!!!
Incredible experience. We did the 17 course experience and everything was perfectly portioned. The choctherapy was super fun and unusual. All the staff were attentive, did an excellent job explaining each dish, and were clearly passionate about the menu/experience. The menu was easily able to accommodate my girlfriend’s pescatarian diet. Great drinks as well. If you’re on the fence because of the price, just do it- it’s so much more than a fancy dinner!
Amazing restaurant for a little intimate and exclusive fine dinning experience. Very romantic and great vibes. Food is top notch and the experience is just out of this world. Love the fact they explain each and every plate one by one and they do the best wine and food pairing.
will recommend 100% and dying to go again soon !
I pre paid for a Michelin Star experience that was non refundable. When I got here the server new nothing about this and called the manager who said it was cancelled and they called to inform guests about it. I did NOT receive a call nor any messages. So we were there and they told us to do the Journey, which ended up costing the same and it was not worth it. I just want to mention that the server was extremely nice.
Loved it. Great location and service. Highly recommended
Excelente ambientación, explosión de sabores, nuestro mesero fue muy bueno. Recomendado!
Absolutely phenomenal! The service, the food, the setting, the experience. All were absolutely wonderful!
Waiter was very thorough. Several times he wanted to share info but not take our order. Food was excellent and ambience beautiful. We will go back.
Great place for a new experience. We had a lot of fun. I will definitely be back.
Excelente degustación. El maridaje no ayuda, vinos pésimos
Had an absolute blast doing the experience. Unique, delicious food, exquisite presentation, and beautiful quiet ambiance. Would highly recommend for any serious foodie. The cocktails are also quite good.
My second time to get the full Experience menu with 6 glass wine pairing. Absolutely amazing! It's not too much food at all; but utterly fantastic. I love how everyone there is so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the food too. The service is outstanding.
It is one of the best restaurant experiences we had. We have been in the El Cielo in Medellin. She was as good as Miami, but a lot less expensive.
Excelente servicio la comida deliciosa una experiencia inolvidable 100% recomendado
Great food, great ambiance. Always a pleasure to try the new dishes they come up with
Overall a Truly Great experience.
I already recommended to all the girls at My Office.
It was worth it the drive from Boca Raton to Brickell, Miami.
Only one thing Parking should be complementary.
Great food and service, the price is bit high, but it was worth the culinary experience.
For the price you pay to be there and no valet parking seems little too much. The restaurant is not that obviously easy to find because when you get there and see a condo you get confused. No valet and the condo parking was full, I had to put my car close by for few minutes to find out where was the restaurant and to find out about a proper parking. You have to walk around the condo to find the restaurant and once We got there they said we would have to park few blocks away. My wife had high hills so I left her there seated while I had to go back and search the parking. Unfortunately when I got back my car was towed and that made me think even more why a high end restaurant where I paid 650 dollars for a dinner doesn’t offer a valet service. 200 dollars in tow plus Uber to get there and all the stuff to deal with that after a birthday dinner for my wife. Food was great and service as well! But unfortunately that completely changed my vibe and experience during dinner.
Yes very specific and so friendly the food was amazing
This restaurant has high aspiration. They have a 10 and four item menu and an al la carte menu. The meal starts out with a very nice Tree of Life bread with a creamy cilantro butter. The flat bread is suspended by copper wires above a rock. The hearts of palm soup however was tasteless and an unappetizing beige color. The cazuela with grooper was very good. The yuca gnocchi was a bit pasty, but good. The chocolate desert was very good. Service was also good and there were some decent wines on the menu.
Awesome food, poor wine pairing.
Everything about “the experience” was great; it is very well designed, service was very good, flavors and presentation are excellent. The missing link for me was the 6 glass wine pairing. There are very many excellent wine choices in the world now that don’t break the bank and can take “the experience” to another level, yet what is being offered are rather forgettable choices that don’t bring anything to the table, which is shame due to the exceptional quality of the food. Next time I’ll hit the wine list.
It was a phenomenal experienced and the food to die for
Good place ❤️
It is an overpriced mediocre restaurant. I know Colombian cuisine well. Although the creations are well presented, the flavors are far from reminiscing the original flavors. After you have your hands bathed in white chocolate, the waiter gets lost and leaves the customer with hands covered by that sticky material. Then he comes back and splatters water mixed with the greasy chocolate over your clothes. Some of the courses were overwhelmingly acidic. The proteins are fish in minuscule portions and the meat is a greasy small pork rind. Dessert is a mixture of cheese and dark chocolate, supposed to be hot but ours was cold. A cup of coffee of "the best in the world" is prepared on the table having brought already ground beans that had oxidized already. About the wine, cheap selections that can be obtained at the supermarket at less than $20 a bottle but they charge the same per glass. In sum, El Cielo was a big disappointment. Do not recommend.
nothing special to justify the $600 dinner for two!
Such a beautiful experience. Get the experience with the 6 wine pairing . BEAUTIFUL
Food is amazing, had to park 1/2 mile away. Valet full. Understand that one. But when you call the restaurant to ask where is the best and easiest place to park no one answers.. I did not expect that when you pay $300 per person. Table wobbled, service was non existent and not at level expected with zero table maintenance during a 2 plus hour meal.
