It is an overpriced mediocre restaurant. I know Colombian cuisine well. Although the creations are well presented, the flavors are far from reminiscing the original flavors. After you have your hands bathed in white chocolate, the waiter gets lost and leaves the customer with hands covered by that sticky material. Then he comes back and splatters water mixed with the greasy chocolate over your clothes. Some of the courses were overwhelmingly acidic. The proteins are fish in minuscule portions and the meat is a greasy small pork rind. Dessert is a mixture of cheese and dark chocolate, supposed to be hot but ours was cold. A cup of coffee of "the best in the world" is prepared on the table having brought already ground beans that had oxidized already. About the wine, cheap selections that can be obtained at the supermarket at less than $20 a bottle but they charge the same per glass. In sum, El Cielo was a big disappointment. Do not recommend.

Food is amazing, had to park 1/2 mile away. Valet full. Understand that one. But when you call the restaurant to ask where is the best and easiest place to park no one answers.. I did not expect that when you pay $300 per person. Table wobbled, service was non existent and not at level expected with zero table maintenance during a 2 plus hour meal.
On a scale of one to five, its a ten! Foos, presentation and service are phenomenal.

We really loved our experience . The place is super quiet, tables are big and there is enough space between them to enjoy a beautifully crafted meal and great friend conversation. Each dish was delicious and creative. Service was impeccable, Edgard our waiter made our night unforgettable. For sure and experience to recommend for those who can afford it.

Mediocre, did not live up to expectations. We came here for Miami Spice, and it wasn't until we complained about the poor quality of the food that we realized this was a Michelin Start restaurant-- at that point we were shocked. The service was OK. The food was like what you'd eat at a Bar Mitzvah or your average wedding; inconsistent, subpar, enough to keep your appetite at bay. Halfway through, we lost our appetite, left about 75% of the entre on the plate, and cancelled desert. Their "Truffle Quinoa Risotto" genuinely had NO truffle in it, and it's actually what we were most looking forward to. The "chicharron" was tough, cold, and chewy. Their corn arepas were dry and crumbled apart. It felt as if the chef and staff had gotten together and ultimately decided that anyone doing Miami Spice simply wasn't worth doing anything special for. How you do one thing is how you do everything, we will not be coming back. We thought this would be a good intro (what Miami Spice is all about) but we were wrong. I had a chance to speak with and express myself to the chef and several staff members, who gave us the chance to leave without paying, which we appreciated.
This was such an amazing experience! Our server Alexander and staff was on point, very nice and explained every element of our experience with every plate. Took the time to acknowledge our anniversary and surprise us with an amazing dessert. From the decor, ambience to the food, everything was to die for.

Decor was nice. Food was okay. We got the tempura avocado which was not crunchy and had a basic garlic aioli sauce. For $28 dollars, not worth. Garlic aioli is such a basic sauce, chain restaurants use it. We also had the crab arepas. The arepas were so dry they broke we folded them. The crab came with melted cheese on top. Tasted like a tuna melt. The fish dish also came garlic aioli, same boring flavor again. The fish did come with a quinoa risotto which was unique and delicious. Tuna tartare was good with large portion. We had other dishes that were decent or not great. Very small menu. I appetizer and dinner came back to back with no time in between. A restaurant at this level normally knows to space the food out. We would have drank more if it was spaced out properly. Service overall was great.
Amazing food and service!
Our server didn’t describe any of the dishes on the menu. We didn’t like one of the entrees, we told the server she didn’t do anything + they charged us $30 for a kids menu: 1/2 grilles chicken thigh and fries. Overall, good ambience, good location, pretty restaurant.

Very creative but I was not impressed with the food. Three of the items were great, the rest, not so much. I’ve done this kind of existence many times at different restaurants. This young chef who I admire, is going on the right direction but still has some things to learn to achieve another level. Will wait and give it a try again in the future. Service was great !

Realmente creo que la experiencia debe ser la de los pasos …. La carta como tal es súper restringida, el branzino estaba delicioso y el hamachi también, una gran combinación de sabores en esos dos platos que pagaron la noche … los platos pequeños están bien …. Pero creo que definitivamente tendré que volver a vivir la experiencia real
Yuca gnocchi is excellent. So is the patacón with shrimps. Green arepas could be eliminated from menu. Overall. Seems overpriced, mainly the all inclusive menu. Would be better if a la crate menu was expanded. Thank you!

Oh sorpresa al llegar al lugar nos dicen que existen dos menús y que no se pueden combinar..
El primer menú es a la carta y solo lo puedes consumir en el area de afuera
El segundo menú es la experiencia de degustación. Y, solo se consume dentro del restaurant
Estaba lloviendo así que nos permitieron entrar pero no pude probar la experiencia de degustación ya que mi familia quería servicio a la carta y solo yo quería la experiencia de degustación. Para poder probarla tenía que sentarme sola en otra mesa por que los menús no se pueden combinar…
Esto si que ha sido una EXPERIENCIA..
Considérenlo si quieren ir al lugar ya que fue muy incómodo el servicio y un mesero trato de ayudarnos pero lamento no tener autoridad para hacer la combinación ya que son políticas de CHEF JUAN MANUEL.. Creo deberían poner esa política muy clara en la página de internet ya que pedí que me mostraran donde decía que eran menús diferentes y solo respondieron que era política..
Entre mis dos niños , mi esposo y yo consumimos 8 platillos aún y cuando la comida es deliciosa el servicio fue tan incomodo que pensaría mucho antes de regresar ..

If I could give a rating of negative stars I would. By far worst experience ever!!! The worst service I have ever experienced! We had made a reservation and we specified we wanted the “A la carte” menu, due to having dietary restrictions. When we arrive they sat us inside and gave us the “experience” menu. We told out server that we had requested the other menu and he immediately said that we had to sit outside because they don’t serve that menu inside. That was never communicated to us when we made the reservation and when it was confirmed. We asked to speak to a manager and instead the hostess came and told us that we had to sit outside. I explained to them that I have dietary restrictions which is why we didnt ask for the other menu and all they would do was shrug their shoulders and walked away. Needless to say we walked out and left. I would NEVER recommend that place to anyone. We’ve never felt so mistreated and worst customer service.
