Great dinner. Not crowded on a Saturday evening. Open area to the street so you could feel a cool breeze. Carnitas was delicious. Queso fundido was outstanding. Happy hour prices were a deal until 6:00. Highly recommend.
Service was amazing!!! We had the best experience. Food, margs & our waiter were all amazing! Great happy hour!
Great Herradura skinny margaritas - made with fresh lime (not that imitation sour crap) the best we have had in Denver1 Food was great too - fresh and not oversized portions overloaded with cheese - table side guacamole was excellent - this is a great addition to the Jefferson Park neighborhood !!
Great food and atmosphere. And not that much more expensive from the places all over Denver and the burbs that lack any positive qualities other than their food.
Dear guest, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this excellent review. We really appreciate your business. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future.
Had dinner with friends and we were not disappointed! The guacamole and queso dip were amazing! We each shared fajitas and they were very flavorful and yummy! The house margaritas were also very tasty! We will go back again!!
Capzoo, thank you so much for this review. We really appreciate you helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anytime.
Es Fuego! The margaritas are fantastic as are the fajitas. Highly recommend the Chile Rellenos as a delicious vegetarian option!
Arman, thanks for your great review on us. Next time you’re here, you should try one of our salads and the new Fried Ice Cream! We hope to see you again soon.
Always nice to find a good casual new place to grab a bite. Nice people, live music. Enjoyable evening
Food was OK but the ambience and location are excellent.
The service was terrible. They had 1 person working the entire restaurant on Cinco de Mayo. We waited for 40 minutes without drinks or ordering and eventually left to eat across the street.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at El Cazo. The food was fresh and delicious, the ambiance was classy, and the servers were friendly. We'd consider making the hour drive to Denver just to eat here again.
Delicious meal in a very nice space. Excellent service, ample portions and fair prices. We highly recommend El Cazo y Cantina and we will return. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You wont' be sorry.
The food has a unique flavor. Can't wait to go back and try something different from the menu.
It was surprising that a restaurant this good had so few diners, though it was a Monday night. It didn't diminish our enjoyment, the food, the service or anything. I just thought "not enough people know how good this place is!"
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good location. I was disappointed with the vegetarian options, so I am not sure I will return unless the menu has additions or changes.
A wonderful wonderful restaurant, the food is amazing.
I go here all the time, food is always amazing and margs might be the best in town!
This mexican food made with fresh, high quality ingredients. It is delicious and doesn't feel greasy and heavy. They have great margaritas, and wonderful tableside quacamole! I will go back soon.
My wife and I were HUGE La Loma fans and getting to the Downtown location is just annoying and inconvenient. We were pumped to hear that a La Loma veteran was opening up shop in Jeff Park.
Unfortunately, I don't think this will be our go-to spot in the neighborhood. It was a Thursday night and the vibe was pretty lackluster. There was a good amount of people there, but because the space is so BIG it still felt empty and dead. We sat at the bar, and the bartender's service and personality might win some patrons, but just annoyed us. And finally, the Fajita's just weren't all that special.
Outstanding! The table-side guacamole was some of the best we've ever had. Everyone's food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the drinks. The service was responsive without being smothering. The ambience could be a little more cozy. Management responded very positively when we asked for the lights to be dimmed. But due to the electrical setup in the venue, options for dimmer lighting appear to be limited. We recommended suspending textiles below the lights in the ceiling to soften the room, and perhaps some colorful artwork on the walls would help, too. Otherwise, El Cazo is firing on all cylinders and deserves much success in the years ahead!
Amazing Food and Great Service! The Margaritas were solid as well!
We enjoyed our lunch very much here!
One thing to suggest - please let patrons know either on the website or upon booking about Sunday brunch. We chose this restaurant because of the brunch menu and were disappointed to hear that brunch is not served on Bronco home game Sundays...
This was my second visit and will be back. Food is excellent and good service especially by Natasha.
JJ was a great server, churro donut and flan amazing deserts, Mexican deviled eggs are a must for an appetizer. Love the vibe too w/ the wall of windows open on 2 sides of the restaurant.
Great authentic Mexican food. Fabulous Margaritas. Myself and friends will be back.
Giant Margaritas and Fajitas are a must! Also recommend the crispy relleanos
Excellent food. Tremendous service, very personalized. Absolutely would return and recommend to friends.
