   Nice try. Love the concept (higher-end Mexican Seafood). The menu has many interesting options. Salsa was home-made. I had the seafood stuffer peppers - presentation looked great, but it was cold. Service was slow and short handed staff forced the bartender and bus person to help wait on the outdoor tables. It’s new and the food and cocktails tasted okay so we will try it again in a few weeks. It is just not up to the quality of The Creek, Peggy’s, or Cypress Grill yet. They have the location and the menu, just need the front and back of house management to hit the home run….. nice try.

   Horrible service. Waited 45 minutes for a drink which came out wrong, over an hour for appetizers, didn’t see our server for 20 or more minutes, ordered another drink when our food arrived and still didn’t receive it by the time we finished eating. Just canceled it. Won’t be going back.

   Food was delicious but the waiter who I think was the owner got many things wrong and we were charged for another table's shot $60. We sat inside and there were flies everywhere. While the food was very good I doubt we will return because of the experience we had and the price.

   Highly recommend! El Cazador is an upscale Mexican restaurant with great selections. Balthazar was wonderful as the manager and our server. The chips, salsa, entrees and margarita’s were all excellent! We sat outside and our tables under umbrellas were great!

   The menu was elegant Mexican style with a very good choice of dishes. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. There was also a good choice of eine and cocktails. The staff and chef were extremely friendly and helpful. They recognised us and welcomed us back warmly on the several times we ate there. The outside dining patio was lovely with the tables well spaced and a great view. I loved the orange parasols and chairs- it made for a lively but not noisy feel. Inside the restaurant was also elegant if it was not possible to eat outside

   The food was amazing, fresh and flavorful. Nice to have a high end Mexican restaurant in this area, especially one specializing in seafood! It’s a bit small and the noise level depends upon the diners. It was loud when we first got there, but when a party of 4 boisterous diners left it became very pleasant. I can’t wait to go back and eat on their beautiful patio! One more thing, the staff made the evening so much fun and service was excellent! Thank you all for making it a wonderful evening!!

    This place is hopping for dinner, but quiet at lunch. More people should try this as a lunch spot. We had tacos and a salad.. really good and fantastic service.

    I usually hate to write a bad review and am pretty generous, forgiving and supportive of small businesses. However, I have to report our experience honestly. We made an open table reservation for outdoors which was confirmed so my husband and I were looking forward to it and dressed for it etc. We were told the table had been given to a bigger party and we had to eat inside. Our waitress was introduced to us as the person who would be taking care of us and she was friendly. Chips and salsa were imm distort brought out as well as our wine. We ordered and then it was another hour and two more rounds of chips and salsa before we finally got our food. Not long after we ordered our food, our waitress became the bartender and we didn’t see her again and no one else was introduced to us as our new server. The manager came over after our food finally came out and told us they had people who didn’t show up for work because “they were in an accident and are in the hospital.” Of course we had no way of verifying that but gave him the benefit of the doubt. “So sorry to hear,” we said. We finished our meal which was tasty albeit pricey. Then we had beg for the check which never came to us. We watched a large party come in and be seated. We felt sorry for them. We didn’t have to pay a certain tip percentage but they would have to no matter what kind of service they received. We were exhausted and irritated by that point so we went up to the host stand and said we needed to pay the bill. Manager came over and then told us another customer made a server cry and how wrong that was. We thought, “we were nothing but nice even with the lousy service and why is this something we need to be told?” At this point, we were pretty sure we were being worked over. The place is lovely and food pretty tasty when you finally get it but unless management improves, we won’t be back.

    Wow - what a find. Not your typical Tex-Mex restaurant that you would anticipate finding in a small town. The food was simply put OUTSTANDING, extremely fresh and some of the best I have ever had. This is more of a Seafood Restaurant with Mexican preparation (and some Tex-Mex influence). Yes, the prices may seem high but the quality more than makes up for the price. In addition, the staff is fantastic and on top of their game. The drinks were freshly made (not something out of a can or bottle but think freshly squeezed juice for the margarita). In addition to the food and drink the availability of outdoor seating across from the creek under the trees is fantastic. We can't wait to go back.

    Excellent food. But, seated next to the kitchen door was distracting. I love that they box up your leftovers. Seafood Relleno still my favorite. Husband loved his Camarones a Diavalo. In laws loved the Enchilada Julia. Daughter and partner enjoyed their Steak Fajita Burrito and Crab Enchilada. A successful night!

    We heard mixed reviews about the restaurant. E.G. prices too high. This is not your typical las palapas Mexican food. This is authentic food with a upscale taste. The food was tasty and our server was very friendly. But the co owner was seen going to each table talking to customers. For some reason, he did not come to our table. He would often look at our table but still did not come greet us. Considering we spent $250 including tip we were offended.

    A new eatery on the River with largely outdoor patio dining - but there is indoor dining and a small bar area too. Service was attentive from both dining staff and Sara at the bar. Food portions were large and maybe pricy at first glance, but we took what we couldn’t finish home and it fed us another meal so overall good value. Seafood is the mainstay of the menu and highly recommended. Good venue for dining as a couple or with friends (or a single at the bar!). Will come back!

    Love this place! The menu is distinctive... think a great restaurant that has Mexican-inspired tastes. NOT a "Mexican" restaurant. The fish dishes are elegant and creative. The classic, carne asada and mole sauce are killer. Most importantly, the service was fun and warm. We will definitely be back.

    The food was delicious and the service and wait staff were terrific. However, the brown goods poor was very meager. It barely covered the two or three ice cubes in the glass. This could really be improved upon especially considering your prices.

    Server was friendly & knowledgable. Service was attentive & prompt. Food was good but tasted the same. We ordered the seafood fajitas & the pescado ixtapa- they tasted very similar. Will try again but hope that they have different flavor profiles. Only other feedback- I didn’t love that the server announced the total at the table.     Fairly new establishment that being in a smaller town would seem kind of pricey, but well worth, and would highly recommend. Add compared to eating at a larger city where tourism but being here very quiet without all the loud commotion I would definitely return.
