Great food and ambiance! Definitely would go there again
My friends and I used to come here a couple of times a month and haven't been since covid. Everything was great for our 5pm reservation as ususal EXCEPT our food came out rather cold (a bit warm, but certainly not hot - beria dinner, veggie squash taco dinner. The beans and rice and beria were luke warm so we sent our meals back. The squash tacos tasted like soap so I exchanged my meal for the veggie mushroom quesedilla.
My friends also said the guacamole was a bit heavy on the salt and light on the garlic/spices, which I agreed. Sort of bland guacamole. Normally we love it. Overall still great, but it seems like the kitchen is a bit out of practice. Service was great!
Wait staff so friendly and awesome! Food was rich and very flavorful: enchiladas and tortilla soup were unbelievably good.
We had a great time. Our server was wonderful and the food was very yummy! People at a neighboring table were complaining because their enchiladas didn't resemble what they had at Azteca. This place isn't Azteca, it's better. The ingredients are fresh and the food is actually cooked in the restaurant! We loved the decor, the ambience is very fun.
The margarita's are all delicious, my fav is the blood orange. The food is consistently delicious and the service and ambiance warm and inviting. They have dealt with the pandemic restrictions with creativity and ingenuity, creating distance and barriers that feel more like a nod to colorful childhood forts than restrictive isolation. Love it.
I might have been too hyped about it from my friend’s rave reviews. Plus, I had high hopes for the Birria. But still an overall great place and will visit again.
Love El Camino! Especially their newly tented outdoor tables!
Wait staff provided primo service and I plan to go back very soon for a house margarita and tostones and guacamole! Their slushees are dangerously delicious
The Cadillac margarita is the best!
Love the tostones!
Alfredo makes all the desserts, and they are wonderful. Favorite is the Tres Leches cake…moist and swimming in caramel and creamy coconut goodness!
The salmon house specialty was very disappointing . The salmon was over cooked, thin, and seasoned poorly. The sauce drenched the spinach and dish. We left hungry and went out for ice cream to complete the meal.
So cute! Very hipster. Get the scratch margarita!
As always, excellent food and drinks. One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Seattle.
Great food and really lovely service! I thought the portions were really good as well - will go back!
Alfredo, the maitre 'd, is extraordinary and makes our visits qualitatively better than they would be without him..
The amount of food for the price was on the low end, however it was delicious. The space is nice, but our server wasn’t very friendly.
Eating out feels like such a treat. El Camino has strict protocols that they enforced in a friendly manner. The maragarita was amazing, as were the chips. The waitress was great!
We used to live In Seattle and on our long list of places we miss, El Camino tops it. Great food fun vibe and always awesome service
Great food and service. Looking forward to sitting at the bar.
This was our 1st experience eating at El Camino, it was a bit of a letdown. We booked it as we were going to be in the area and the reviews were high. We didn't like either of our dishes that were recommended by our waiter. However, we were looking for vegetarian dishes and also gluten free. I think to their benefit they just don't have good options if you have some dietary restrictions. I noticed their specials were mostly beef and drinks looked good as well. It appears our overall experience might've just been circumstantial, so if you don't have any restriction I wouldn't pass on the restaurant but if you do then I might.
Food, service, ambience and Covid precautions were all great! We sat in the back room next to a huge window. It was cheery and bright. The Bloody Mary I ordered was spicy and delicious (homemade mix) and the food was great as always. Highly recommend!
Very good, and strong, margaritas. The two entrees were divine (the beef capitalino and the birria). Very charming and cozy atmosphere with all reasonable Covid precautions in place. Fun and unexpected music. We love El Camino and chose it for our first dinner out in 15 months, and it did not disappoint.
Best birthday ever, great cake to end the best dinner.
Mother’s Day was great and we always love the food here
Wonderful staff and excellent food. Highly recommend
We enjoyed the experience
My husband and I have enjoyed eating here for many years and it was fun to introduce it to our niece and her fiancé. It is as good as ever with even better salsa than we remember from last time. Honestly one of my favorite spots for a fun casual meal. The margaritas are fantastic.
Great atmosphere and food
We had such a good time. We’ll be back again.
LOVE El Camino!! Their food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is warm, inviting, and lively. Service has been exceptional every time I’ve dined there, and the margaritas have a nice kick! It’s by far one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.
Great COVID protocols! We love El Camino! Can’t wait until they bring back brunch French toast!
Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staf! Highly recommend
Great, cozy Mexican place with nice interior decorations! Made us feel like we were back in Mexico! Except they would not charge you for chips and salsa in Mexico...Other than that good food, good service and a hoppin, fun place. Will be back!
Been here many times but not for a while because, you know. I love el Camino and could eat 10 more of those carne asada tacos. I restrained myself however.
Caesar was a great server! Hail Caesar, he really did a great job!
Great outdoor seating setup. Must try the horchata!
Our server, Ryan, and other servers were great and friendly. The enchiladas were good. The pazole was too salty for my palate.
Excellent food, great service; highly recommend it. Nice to have our dog with us out front.
Still great after all these years!
Food was out quickly on cold plates with Luke warm food. We both agreed we’d never be back.
Great food and amazing service! Will definitely be back!
Great place to relax, catch up, have a lovely margarita, and delicious food. I think El Camino has done a wonderful job during COVID, I felt very safe and that things were clean and sanitary!
