Our food arrived very fast and it was cold. They couldn't bother to serve the food on warm plates. I have been coming to this El Camino and it's gone down hill in the quality of the food and the service. It used to be such a great restaurant.
Delicious mole sauce, speedy service, very pleasant back room with paper lanterns and fireplace.
Birthday and it was lovely.
Seasonal decorations were lovely, food was cooked perfectly and seasoned thoughtfully, staff was attentive. We loved it.
As always, professional friendly service, great food, wonderful atmosphere.
Great food and service. The back patio ambience was so cool. Felt like a cozy place on a cold, rainy night. Would definitely recommend!
The best Mexican food I have had in a long time! Great restaurant!
Great happy hour all throughout the restaurant! Great outdoor patio seating out front for our family! Good kids menu too!
I love that they have pomegranate juice. It is great with vodka, no guilt,HA.
Amy was our server and she was awesome! The restaurant is great for larger parties (I'd make a reservation). I also like that the back patio and bar area are 21+ only.
The food was great and the server was really nice, but two of our orders were wrong and when we sent one back it took a really long time to get a replacement. Other than that, we had a lot of fun and it’s a great place.
Great food, great service. Staff is super friendly!
The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was average. The waitress was somewhat friendly but did not give us the water we requested and did not come back so we could reorder our margaritas. Overall we might go back but would like to see better service. N
Awesome service, great place, Fremont vibe and the food was the highlight!
We love this place and keep coming back. The back room is festive and airy....food is fresh and creative
Why should have been an easy experience, a table for two, was not fun due to our surly and grumpy female server. She wasn’t pleasant to begin with but things only got worse when we expressed surprise at the miniature amount of guacamole provided as an appetizer with chips. Like a few spoons fulls. My friend mentioned it since it was so bizarre and was met with a sullen response. After some back and forth, she brought out guacamole. We had ordered the most expensive margaritas and entrees as well and while it was okay, it would be a long time before I’d go to El Camino again. It used to be good but guess they were having an off night.
Food is good and decor is really fun. The service is too fast though. Didn't even get through a glass of wine before starter and dinner was served. Would have preferred a leisurely evening.
Spent 20 years in Phoenix, been here in a Seattle for 27 years; this is the most authentic and best Mexican food I’ve found since I’ve left the desert! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting...I’ll be back.
Lovely restaurant. Some mistakes were made with our order but all was quickly resolved. Good ambiance for families, couples, and businesspeople.
Mother’s Day celebration
Great happy hour! All food and drinks were tasty. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Last minute friends visit in a beautiful spot with super friendly staff and great food. Guac & chips a must and fish tacos were awesome
One of my fav places in Fremont!!! Must have the salmon :)
Dinner was great but we had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation time. The food more than made up for the wait.
Our favorite restaurant!
It was great.
Great service and food. We had some dietary restrictions and the waiter was very helpful and accommodating and the meal was fantastic!
Worst dining experience ever. Waited 2 hours for our food. The waiter forgot to put in our order, but even when he acknowledged the error, we still waited 30 minutes to get our food. Had to ask for chips and salsa! The manager didn’t even stop by to apologize. They comped the meal, but it was such a disappointment, the experience ruined the evening. Sadly, I will never go back.
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had......... although the service was good.
Will not be returning.
We have been going here for at least the last 5 years, and almost every Friday in the Winters for the last 3, and find the consistently cordial and friendly people a pleasure. This trip we learned that the host, Freddo, was a pastry chef in Chicago in a past life, and pulls together some of the most interesting desserts we've had almost anywhere, the tres leches is amazing, and the Chocolate mousse cake is perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Another win for El Camino in our eyes.
Have been here twice now and always love the patio seating with the fireplace. It's a wonderful ambience for lunch with friends. Not too noisy so it's great for conversations. The menu has something for everyone, including a broad drink menu, and the food is delicious! The service is very good with friendly, helpful wait staff. My experience both times was above average and I'll return again when I get an opportunity.
Way. Too. Loud. Friday night rush hour, this is to be expected, but it was not good for the social visit I was hoping to have with visiting guests as we had to shout at each other for 60m to hear our conversation(s). Service was ok (waiter used memory vs. paper for the order, and it was fast and flawless.) However, we had to ask for more chips, and response time was a bit slow. Overall: great staff, but need to choose quieter time for dinner w a sane conversation level.
A delicious meal with great ambience. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back.
Always love El Camino. It’s our go-to when we don’t want to cook at home.
It was great and glad I made reservation as they were packed full. Food very good !
Good Mexican food, ie, 3 kinds of chipotle, nice patio setting, pleasantly served all around.
Delicious, once again. Mole was amazing. Food (camarones diablo) was a bit spicy for kids - we were warned, but it was still a bit hot for the 9 year old. Will keep that in mind for next time. Friendly wait staff. We felt cared for.
El Camino is a nice place, good food and a pleasure, not to mention 3 kinds of chipotle.
A really great Mexican restaurant. We have been coming for years. There was an ownership transition a while back where some of the staff purchased the restaurant. The quality of everything remains the same or better. So good. Have the shrimp quesadilla, it could change your life. Margaritas are also really good. Mole's are great. Biztec is yummers. Plantains. I could go on ...
The kitchen (chef) here is a Seattle gem. Extraordinary Mexican cuisine.
