Have been here twice before and had a great experience both times…..brought a group here for a family dinner on my recommendation on a Sunday at 530 and was not pleased. Drinks took 35 min after they were ordered and not good……food came out 45 min after drinks came! Two orders of fajitas were burnt and a kids order of chicken tacos had very spicy chicken in it. I’m all about a one off so I’ll give it another chance but this was a miss a big miss and I doubt the other two couples I went with will ever be back. Bummer of an almost 300 meal.
The ambience was cute, but the food was too American to be Mexican. Nothing tasted authentic. Disappointed
This is our second time there and both experiences have been great! Good and service is amazing!
I have Celiac disease and they always accommodate my food requirements. Food is excellent, fresh, and interesting flavors. Love love the tacos. Even the gluten free tortillas are yummy. Also, best margaritas you will ever have. Not your typical Mexican restaurant.
Great shrimp tacos. Perfect place to catch up with friends . Please bring back Shrimp Cazuelas!!
I randomly picked El Camino because I was looking for a place to dine with friends. It exceeded my expectations ! The food was savory and well cooked! The wait staff was very attentive! This place is pretty with awesome food and drinks! I would go again! ❤️❤️
though it’s not a authentic mexican restaurant the food is still really good. perfect place to go for a date or family dinner. may be slightly expensive for some families but worth the price.
Very good overall! Margaritas were excellent and nice atmosphere.
Waitress was very rude.
We had Brunch - it was delicious. Good size portions!
Nice atmosphere. Even though restrictions have been lifted, we were still seated far enough apart, that the next table wasn’t able to hear our conversation. Matera was our sever and did a pretty good job, being that this was her first day serving on her own. She constantly kept coming back to check on us. We had tacos (shrimp and fish) for dinner and they were pretty tasty. The blood orange margarita was delicious. I will definitely go back. They also offered take home margaritas that were $10. My friend got one to go. Parking could be a little better but that’s almost everywhere.
Food quality was pretty poor. Over cooked and over spiced.
Cocktails and apps are great! I’d love to just go back for happy hour. Tacos not bad but don’t need to be fried. Shrimp/fish would be better grilled or sautéed, or less batter- not flavorful at all.
Server was very friendly. Food was GREAT. Can’t wait to come back!
The service was great . The food everything was super saucy and my husband usually gets Sea-bass Veracruz had too much sauce he felt as thou he was eating Italian dish . We had brought our Friend’s for first time and they order as per Our recommendation and the food failed to impress them . I usually order chilie Poblanos and that too was super saucy and tasted sour may too much tomatoes.
Too bad the restaurant failed to impress our friends. While we have dined multiple times this past experience with food fails to entice us back to Resturant.
Ordered the Mexican meatball as an appetizer. After 5 minutes our server informed us they were out.
Ordered a vegetarian burrito. It was very dry.
Margarita was good.
Overall pretty good.
Hannah was excellent. I had left my credit card and I was called to inform me I had done so. Very nice young man was waiting for me as I pulled up to bring my card to my car. I highly recommended dining at this restaurant.
We have been at El Camino before. Love food and ambience. Wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We decided to eat at bar. Bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was great. We will be back.
It was a very nice restaurant. The food was a little bland but it was still good
I would recommend the pineapple mojito and the fajita salad for lunch. The Cubano sandwich is good too.
It was a very nice place with very good food. Stuffed jalapeños are delicious
One of the most authentic south western meals I've had outside of Santa Fe. Delicious, large servings, very reasonable prices.
I have Celiacs and they made the fish tacos gluten free. I have never had such flavour explosion like I did with those absolutely delicious tacos. My husband had the pork tacos and they are also GF! My new favourite Mexican restaurant!!!! And the coconut pomegranate cocktail was yummy too!
Great food and drinks!
Very slow service. Appetizers arrived before drinks.
Food was phenomenal, service was great ! Overall a wonderful place, great atmosphere, good drinks. Will definitely be going back!
This was one of the best dining experiences we have had. Service was great! Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Food was absolutely stellar. My dad had the breakfast burrito and said it’s the best he has ever had (we lived in TX and he has had a lot of breakfast burritos). Drinks were fresh and well made. What a great experience... we will most definitely be back.
Nice atmosphere. Staff nice, doing the best they can being a bit short staffed. My salmon and the fajitas were great. Others in our party had a beef burrito and didn’t care for it. Drinks were awesome!
Great food - carne asada was especially delicious, good margaritas, nice and efficient waitstaff all made for a great night out.
Good food and good drinks, the atmosphere is really well done.. Great play for a happy hour cocktail or dinner.
The chicken fajitas are the best! Chicken burrito should be served with a side of the tasty guacamole!
Our waitress Sydney was amazing! Food was excellent!
Basic Mexican food nothing to be overly excited about but acceptable.
The food that I ordered was salty. Guac was not tasty. Service was very slow. The ribs wasn’t made right.
Everything was great! The food was delicious and our server was very attentive!
Great ambiance. Our server was courteous non intrusive but still very attentive. We are definitely returning.
Hanna was our server. She did an excellent job. She was personable and all about customer service. Really enjoyed our dinner for 5. We will return. Food was felt. We all ordered something different. Can't go wrong ordering anything off the menu. My friends enjoyed the margaritas too. Have fun. Thank you Hanna 👍👍👍
Delicious food and beverages ! Never disappointed and always full when leave there.
Absolutely! The tables outside were nice, the service was excellent and the food and drinks were good as well.
As usual the luncheon offerings were very tasty and with very adequate portion sizes.
Tried the mushroom tacos which were very good and nicely seasoned.
Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Was lunching with a friend for the first time in awhile and we had lots to chat about. There was no pressure on us to leave after finishing our main course.
