                                                                                                                                    We were greeted and seated promptly. Service was very good. I ordered al pastor tacos and it was no problem subbing black beans for the refried beans that automatically came with it. The pork was tender and juicy and two tacos was plenty. My only negative is the black beans were so heavily salted that they were inedible. I spooned a few out and added some salsa. That helped. My bf ordered the chimichanga. It came with refried beans and rice. His meal was so large that he couldn’t finish. All in all, we enjoyed our time at El Camino and will visit again.

                                                                                                                                    We had a nice booth by the bar, it was crowded, but it was not loud. The service was fun and fast and respectful. The food was fabulous.

Food runner not so good. Literally through food in this of whatever was on table so plates were literally on an angle. I’d go back but would not be a go to.

                                                                                                                                    Beautiful restaurant, but disappointing. The hostess kept a flat expression from the time we entered until the time we left. I wouldn't have someone working front of the house who can't at least fake being pleased to be there. It was like having Wednesday Adams seat you at your table. The food was beautifully plated, but my chicken tacos were very watery, had an unusual taste, and I didn't get past a few bites. I've never in my life not eaten something I've ordered until this evening. This from someone who is truly not picky and generally enjoys anything I order anywhere. The guacamole was very good; not too spicy and very fresh. The waitress was ok, but she also didn't seem thrilled to be there. If you feel as if you're imposing as a guest at a restaurant, that's a problem. You have to have people working the front of the house that understand how to be inviting and pleasant. Even a fake smile would be better than nothing. Other than the restaurant having beautiful decor and a nice ambiance, I just did not have a good experience. I so rarely eat out that when I do, it's such a treat and this was a major disappointment.
