Tucked behind El Barrio Cantina in Long Beach, Tokyo Noir is an intimate 25-seat speakeasy with a side-alley entrance and world-class cocktail program, co-concepted by restaurateur/founder Jesse Duron and acclaimed mixologist Kevin Lee. As the only certified Ice Master outside of Japan, Lee has created a cocktail menu at Tokyo Noir that will make it a destination for serious bar culture fans, who want to experience the art and craft of cocktailing. The beverages are complemented by a robust izakaya-style menu from Chef Ulises Alfaro-Piñeda, with craveable small plates that go beyond bar snack expectations. As a whole, this discreet speakeasy concept will surprise locals and impress the industry.

Food service ends 11pm Weds,Thurs, and Sun. Midnight on Fri and Sat.
If you don't see reservations we are fully booked, we do take walk-ins if people no show.
Best time to try is at 5pm or after 11pm.

This is a great hidden gem of a spot that is sometimes hard to get reservations to on the same night. Definitely worth stopping in for cocktails and food. A great place to get late night food with a drink that is different from the usual food trucks and taco stands. Tokyo Noir has great quality everything. Its just a fun place to bring friends and whether its a first stop or a last stop-- dont miss it! :)

This is a very cool, hidden gem in LB! Definitely recommend getting a reservation and checking this place out for some interesting drinks and overall chill vibes.

Came here for drinks. Had a reservation at 5 pm, as soon as they open. Got in at 5 pm on the dot. Hostess/server was very nice, approachable, and gave good information on cocktails that was not just about getting that instagram shot. We each had two drinks, 4 unique drinks in total. All were good. Admittedly, I have had better, but the cocktails were exactly as described and made at a very high quality. Thus, my statement of "better" is due to my personal taste and menu options. The noise level increased significantly as time passed. However, this was due simply to the number of people in the establishment. I appreciate that they don't play music loudly. We sat at the bar and seating was very comfortable. Got to stay past the 90 minute mark (they state this upfront when you make a reservation). We did not have food. I will come back. One of the top 10 (if not top 5) best bars in LB.

Everything was great as always. Got sat immediately after being greeted for our reservation. Fantastic cocktails, energetic service. Only small negative was the wagyu we ordered was slightly overcooked. Took a bit more chewing than when we ordered it before but the flavor was still great. All the other food items were fantastic as well. I love coming here and bringing friends to experience it.

Let me start by saying that the service was outstanding. The food is basically all appetizers for 2 and inexpensive enough to try the whole menu. If you come hungry, it will basically takes trying the whole menu to get full. It is a “ speak easy” which people do love, but overall the drinks are mediocre. It’s definitely an experience I would recommend trying at least once. You may like to return, but I myself will move on to the next.

The drinks are fantastic! The food is super good too. I would recommend making a reservation as it's small space. The entrance is in the alley. Overs great vibes.

Made reservations for a certain time. Was greeted and then left outside for 15 - 20 minutes in the alley late at night. Weird because our seats were open. Anyway service was amazing besides the door.

I can only say everything was great the drinks are so good, so unique and the food is great, just wish they serve a bit more. The only negative part is the parking, they don’t have a parking so you have to park on the street and is nearly impossible to find a space so if you are planning to visit, leave early enough so you can have time to find parking.
