Over priced for what it is! For how much the food is you would have thought they’d update the place! Forgot to bring out a whole main, instead brought chips and bread.

We decided to visit this place after all the great reviews and it was a great choice, as we had some of the most delicious meat we have ever tasted. If you are a meat and steak lover like me, then you will definitely love this place. We visited on a very busy Friday night, and we were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The interior is quite big, the ambience and the whole vibe of the restaurant was great and the service was knowledgeable and attentive. We wanted to try the argentinian meat, so we had the Strip Steak (Lomo Bajo) and the Beef tenderloin (Solomillo), both medium rare. Both of them were great, really tender meat, high quality and they were cooked to perfection. They have a large selection of wines to choose from, and many of them are also available by the glass, which is convenient. Normal prices for a quality steakhouse (around 30 euros per person without wine), definitely one of the best Argentinian restaurants in Barcelona

Nothing Argentinian about this steak place! I’m from Ireland where we have amazing steak and this was the worst expensive steak I ever had. Paying so much for a less than average steak, would cook better at home! Don’t waste your money here, big disappointment.

We were visiting Barcelona for 2 nights. Visited El Argentino on my wife’s birthday. Our first impression was that we had a mistake in going there as there were only two other tables occupied. However, our fears were quickly allayed as the service and quality of the food were outstanding and the price of our meal was very reasonable. Our waiter could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Hope this place does well as it certainly deserves to.

The staff, the wine list, the menu and the ambience were all perfect at El Argentino . Steak was tender and succulent. Higly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing an outstanding meal in Barcelona

fourth visit to El argentino but both times the food has been fantastic. The highest quality pieces of beef are cooked to perfection and exactly how requested. Throughly recommend if you’re after steak in Barcelona because you’d be hard pushed to find better! Mostrar menos
