Einstein's Ratings and Reviews
We were only in Atlanta for the weekend and selected restuarants near Georgia Tech. Einsteins had good write ups so I booked a table for 5 with a note saying we were celebrating Georgia Tech’s win over Virginia Tech. Our experience was disappointing.
We had a 7:00 reservation, the restuarant was not full. There were more empty tables in our area than those with customers. Despite the small crowd, there was a lengthy wait for our meals and only 4 of the 5 meals were in the first delivery. Nothing was hot - all served room temperature. As soon as the final meal was served, two non servers ( managers? Who knows, they did not intro themselves) stopped by to ask how everything was. Our server also stopped by to ask if we were interested in dessert while we were just starting our meal.
No one asked about The Georgia Tech game.
We will be back to Atlanta for another Georgia Tech game, but Einsteins won’t be in our game plan.
It is such an amazing place. Yes the salmon flatbread was out of this world . My favorite burger is the Crazy P. The servers at this restaurant seem to understand the customer and Interact in such a professional engaging way. I look forward to the next opportunity to plan a visit to Einstein‘s.
I met a friend for a quick dinner (she had a plane to catch, and I needed to go back to the conference center in an hour). We ate outside and watched the world go by. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful! I had the apple pomegranate salad, and she had the pork chop (very tender). We both shared the two homemade soups. We finished in plenty of time to get to our next destination. The outside patio, food and service made for an excellent dining experience!
Was really disappointed, six of us in total. Was my sisters birthday get together. Place was very loud at 10 am. Waitress messed up all six orders, food was served cold and was mostly tasteless. Would have been better off at a fast food joint. Took over an hour for the incorrect food to come out and over 45 min for food that was close enough to what we ordered to eat. Over all was a very bad experience. Can’t say I would recommend to anyone!
Our group of seven met at Einstein's after a Sunday matinee at the Fox. The food was very good but the very best thing about our meal was our server. I believe his name was something like Veldas but absolutely the best server I have had in a long time. Just a great experience. He was awesome.
We were in just after opening on Saturday morning and the restaraunt was ready to go. Our server was cheery and helpful.
Food was tasty, nicely prepared and served hot. Drinks were right on the money; my bride really enjoys the Bloody Marys and I the Grand Mimosas are an excellent choice too.
We definitely recommend Einstein's for breakfast/brunch.
I reserved a table for 10 to celebrate my husband's birthday and was promptly seated without issue. Our waiter Robert was fun, funny, and upbeat while providing us with great service. The food was great with good vegetarian options for me. The drinks were also very good and prices for all were reasonable.
Robert even added a candle to the cake because I forgot.
I ordered the lamb chops. It was excellent! The entire plate! I ordered fried green tomatoes, they were good. I ordered two southern specialities that were horrible. The grits and Mac. I figured, this is the Deep South, these two things are going to be spectacular! Wrong! Don’t take my word for it!? Try it and see for yourself! My server was good. He was semi attentive. He happened to pay more attention to the couple at the table ahead of us that weren’t black but... albeit, I’d visit again!
Your bar needs a major cleaning. It stinks. The bar rot in there seems very bad. Your draught beer NEVER works. We would have Happy hour there if you cleaned your bar & fixed the draught system. We live down the street & eat there at least once a week. However, if you need to use the bathroom, just walking thru the bar is gross. The smell is overwhelming bad.
Went on rainy Sunday for early dinner, after the brunch rush. used $3 valet with validation. fried green tomatoes good, so was shrimp and grits. Hubby got lobster BLT, also yummy. great menu, gives varying price ranges and burgers/sandwiches up to scallops and lamb chops, something for everyone. waitress proactive and asked parents if kids could get refills on soda or not (loved her!), brought extra spoons and water before ordering. only negative was we were seated in back b/c we were a party of 8, but if it had been nice out, would have asked for patio.
Honestly, after this experience we will not be going back to Einstein's anymore. The service was awful. The time between ordering drinks to getting them took forever - even just to get waters - which we were brought one at a time. My boyfriend ordered a medium rare filet and eggs over easy - They brought him a medium well ribeye and overcooked eggs. When we tentatively told the server, he replied, "What? That is steak and eggs." He ended up just sharing my meal since we assumed it would be forever to get a replacement. We asked multiple people, multiple times to change a TV only our table could see to the Falcons game from tennis. They kept saying yes, but no one ever did it. We finally got our checks, 2 1/2 hours after sitting down, after no one came to clear the dishes no less, there were several errors that had to be corrected, again, one by one. I can see if the restaurant had been busy, but it was actually quite slow for Sunday brunch... but if that's how the service is, I can see why it wasn't crowded. Very disappointed.
Fortunately, the food was delicious! Otherwise, this review would have fewer stars. Our server was basically absent and the manager was not too apologetic or accommodating. Even after the server accidentally spilled her tray onto one of our guests, she did not improve her service. Very disappointing
We sat outside and just have to say it was a fabulous day in Atlanta!! Food was tasty. Not sure i'd order the chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll again tho. Too much bread. A softer bun, less dense, would have been a nicer option in my opinion. The chicken was good though. Needed lettuce and tomato option in addition to the sprouts and avocado. I like veggies on my sandwich! Husbands turkey burger was delish he says.
One of the slowest places we've ever experienced. It was a beautiful sunshiny day with friends. We were lucky enough to have a table outside. Unfortunately the server was overwhelmed covering the entire patio so the service was terrible. We would never even consider going back. Food wasn't bad but the lack of service ruined the experience.
Celebrated my birthday there with my family. It was our first time there and we had an excellent experience!! The food.......blueberry pancakes, seafood omelette and the special fried chicken breakfast sandwich looked and tasted awesome! Our waiter was Lyric and he was fantastic! He was super friendly, attentive and could sing!!! Thanks for an awesome birthday brunch!
Einsteins is a great spot for brunch but would like to call out that I booked a reservation for 10 a week in advance for 12:30 and we weren't seated till past 1 due to "more walk-in reservations than expected". Just be aware of this if you're trying to coordinate a large group! We ended up hitting the bar while we waited but if your on a tight schedule just something to keep in mind.
The food was excellent. Cheese fritters were crisp and melty. The calamari was among the best we've had. My husband's sandwich was spot on. The service on the other hand . .
We placed our complete order at one time: drinks, appetizer, and main courses. My husband's meal came out five minutes after we ordered. We sent it back as it was the only thing served from the order. We had to ask for our drinks and appetizer. A gentleman we assumed was a manager came by to ask about the order and how he could help. Our drinks had been served but, the martini wasn't cold, and the other drink tasted like ice water. Both were remade correctly. My husband's entree was brought out again, with the appetizer. Mine was served later. Nothing was served in the correct order. This may not matter to some diners, but it wasn't the correct way to serve a meal. My husband finished his meal while we were eating the appetizer, (I insisted he go ahead so it wouldn't get cold), and then had to wait for me.
The food was delicious - I had the seafood cake benedict and was completely happy about it. The service lacked a little - had to wait on food, water, and the check. But we we're having a good conversation so it didn't bother us too much. Love brunch on the patio - perfect Sunday morning experience.
