Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar
Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar is a relaxed restaurant that dishes out tasty New American cuisine. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant, with head chef Don Winkie leading the kitchen. Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar is open every day except Mondays. It's a kid-friendly business, making it a great spot for families to sit back and enjoy a lovely meal together.
Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar's cocktail menu features classic and seasonal drinks. Its version of the old fashioned features bourbon and cinnamon- and clove-marinated cherries. The spring mint lemonade has citron and mint. On the entrée front, the grilled lamp chops with couscous are beautifully cooked. Those who love noodles should try the soba noodles with duck breast. Sunday brunch is also available on the weekends.
Food and service have and continue to always be top-notch. Innovative dishes and professional, yet friendly servers. Would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
I took several Business associates to dine at Eighty Acres and had a tremendous evening. The food was superb as well as an engaging wait staff.
I love the food. Service is great. Restaurant is quiet and clean. I would definitely recommend!
Wonderful restaurant with great food and a nice atmosphere. Service was exceptional! Cant wait to go back.
We have been there several times and always enjoyed the food and friendly staff and atmosphere. It is a bit noisy especially when a private party is scheduled at the same time.
Good neighborly establishment...wish I lived closer...
Excellent food and waitress was very accommodating. Multiple entrees and appetizers and everything was excellent.
Food was outstanding, server was terrible. Wine by the bottle reasonably priced.
Food was great
Great reunion dinner with family and new friends. Staff and food was outstanding.
There was a big party in the back. Everyone’s attention was on that party. Our waitress was disappointing. She did not show us the specials was very inattentive and came to the table about every 15 minutes. The food was not up to their normal standard and the value was not very good for the price. Overall was a very poor service and dining experience. It will be quite some time before we consider coming back.
Food and service was excellent. Chef made me a side of risotto and was excellent.
Treated my special friend to a perfect lunch for her birthday! Weather was lovely so we sat outside. Our sever was more than accommodating. She was attentive without being annoying. Our lunch was made to order and we were able to leisurely enjoy it.
Lunch and brunch have been my favorite 80 Acres dining experiences!
Wonderful lunch menu; diverse and eclectic esp if you like game, seafood and fish. Lots of other delicious choices also. Wine list has winners. Have been a fan of Chef Winkie for years; very inventive and excellent quality ingredients. First time at Eighty Acres (drove 1.25 hours); will be back again.
We love eighty acres, the food is amazing and staff is friendly. We took family there for dinner who was visiting from out of town and we could not have a conversation because the music was so loud. The waitress had to yell for us to hear the dinner specials. It’s nice to have live music but it should never be so loud you can’t have a conversation. Will be back for dinner just might think twice about the nights when there is live entertainment.!
Great food. Friendly service. Eating on the patio just added a serene atmosphere to our enjoyment of the meal.
The food and service for the farm to table dinner was outstanding. The entire evening was very enjoyable. We will certainly return.
We attended the Logan Family Farm, Farm-To-Table Dinner, at Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar. This was a really wonderful, very tasty and entertaining 6 course extravaganza. Chef Don Winkie and his team created the menu and crafted the delicious tasting dishes focusing on The Logan Family Farm products of corn, beef, and pork. Don's wife and co-owner Amy handled the complex ballet in the front of the house.
In between courses, the Logan Family Farm owners spoke about their farm, their history, animal husbandry, crop rotation and other products to the diners. These interludes were as entertaining as the food was delicious.
Once the talented kitchen team had created the menu and prepped for the night's diner, the next challenge with such a dinner is the logistics, discipline and orchestration of serving a full restaurant course after course on time with no hitches. The Eighty Acres Team handled it with aplomb.
Next time they have another, we will certainly plan to attend. To give you an idea of the menu, you can find it on their website. I will give you a sense of it here.

Started with snacks that were just okay and I was worried, but the salad and entrees were excellent! Beautiful cuts of meat, perfectly cooked, and nicely presented . Desserts were good, too! Will go back again.
Superior service, food and location. I will be dining again.
Enjoyed both the Restaurant Wk menu and regular menu on a Sunday evening. Were pleasantly surprised by live entertainment in addition to good food. Very tasty vegetable soup. Excellent pork loin and lamb chops. Looking forward to returning to try more homegrown menu options.
Eighty Acres is consistently a great restaurant. I especially enjoy the Sunday brunch menu
We had a wonderful Sunday Brunch!
Thank you Eighty Acres!
Excellent menu selection. All meals were flavorful and beautifully served. Cocktails were different and delicious.
Resturant week so limited choices if you went for that event. Food was very good. Seating was too close and loud neighbors. Overall a good experience though.
The Cotote Queso and Asparagus salad were both full of flavor. Our entrees, the rack of lamb and bistro filet were mixed. Both the lamb and filet could have used more seasoning but the sides with the lamb were bland whereas the hash and pickled onions served with the filet were a great addition with a solid overall balance. We will be back.
Eighty Acres interior dining spaces and bar have a trendy vibe as well as cozy outdoor seating available., weather permitting. All wait staff are professional, friendly, efficient, attentive, yet not hovering. The bartenders craft inventive, tasty cocktails and continually have a white and red homemade sangria available. Food is farm fresh, inventive, and well- presented. Portions may be considered slight by some, but to me encourage full enjoyment and savoring of multiple courses!
Excellent food and great service. Daily specials are always excellent. This is a neighborhood gem! Love the live music twice a week.
As always, Eighty Acres did not disappoint. Love the Polenta sticks as an appetizer. The special Shrimp Risotto was delicious.
NIce evening. They have a nice outdoor patio. Good food. Good service
Great food and service. Worth a try. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent food and service. Will return!
It’s a beautiful place with a great bar and drinks. The food needs an overhaul. The menu rarely changes although they supplement with specials. Even the specials seem to be stuck in a rut. Salads are average. There is only one vegetarian entree option. Yes, you can supplement with an average salad or the tired flatbread and the very cheesy gnocchi. I want to love this place again but it’s becoming worn out.
It’s always wonderful food and service there.
Good food, good service. A Gem. One of the best in the East. Plan on very good, consistent informed service every time. Get a reservation if you are going for the weekends.
What could be better? the wine selections are no where near on a par with the food, and less sweet menu cocktails.
Absolutely fabulous! The crab cakes were wonderful. The shrimp risotto blew our minds! Great martini! Great neighborhood gem.
Delicious food, drinks were also delicious, lovey atmosphere and really helpful staff. No changing table, but had high chairs, I did think that was a bit odd. But with my diaper clutch/pad we managed to change a diaper. Our daughter (10 months) LOVED watching the kitchen through the window in the waiting area. Would definitely return again.
LOVE the atmosphere! The food was excellent and good food portions and great quality. Service was excellent and the Blood Mary Bar was great! Going back next week with my fiancé because I loved it so much!
