Very quick service. Great ambiance and the food was amazing! We will be coming back!
This is our 3rd time here and always incredibly disappointed! We really want to like it because there aren’t many choices in the Southern part of the market but the restaurant is just too big, the lighting is HORRIBLE and the food is like banquet food. The Charcuterie Board was good but too saucy. There was sauce on everything. I ordered the Flank Steak and a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was good but the Demi glaze was just a brown gravy and the mashed potatoes had been sitting for a while and just placed in my plate. They had a crust on the outside of them. We brought in two bottles of wine and the charged us $20 corkage for each bottle. That is ridiculous! Usually if a restaurant is is going to charge for both bottles, they warn you. Needless to say, we won’t be back. We gave them a fair chance. I hope they figure it all out so that we can have another good option in the neighborhood.
I should have stuck with my one order, chicken wings. I tried the salmon and it was so salty and dry. I had a friend that went here a few months ago and got the chicken and it was salty and dry. Not worth the money to have your blood pressure increase from the amount of salt. There are other seasonings in the spice rack to use!
Great environment but honestly the food and service is just 'ok'. You walk in excited and leave a little disappointed.
Excellent drinks and ambiance! My wife and I enjoy date nights here.
Great place. Great staff. Great food.
The reservation help was flawless and we loved being there! Great food, interesting drinks, and lovely environment. Thank you very much for hosting us!
The food was excellent and our server was very good, our only complaint was the noise level that made it hard to carry on a conversation.
Great place! Will definitely be back!
My husband and I went here for date night tonight and it was the best experience, food and drinks we've had in Salt Lake County. The atmosphere was great as well. Highly recommend!
Cocktails are excellent! Food is yummy, great service. A little pricey for what you get.
We were very fortunate to get a reservation on New Year's Eve and it was a perfect end to a not so perfect year. We love this place! Thank you Chelsea!
Amazing! Food was incredible & service was very attentive. They were extremely Accommodating to our special dietary needs. We will be definitely be back on our next trip to the Cottonwoods.
Great atmosphere and service. Cocktails were great but food just average.
Typically love this place
Great service (in spite of Covid). Huge beautiful new facility - best location! Great for big groups... excellent cocktails.
They didn't have our table ready even though we have a reservation. We still had another 20 minute wait. The food was not impressive and neither was the service. They were out of some of the sides, which they didn't tell us until they were literally giving us our food and then it was, "Oh yeah, we're out of this and this and this. Pick something else out.".
I won't be back.
The food is amazing!! Our server was great!! I absolutely love their Smoked Old Fashioned but it wasn’t smoked this time. Which would be my only complaint, but I could tell they were short staffed since the bar tender was also serving tables on top of making every drink on the main floor. But they all did amazing on a busy Christmas night.
I absolutely love this place especially if you are seated upstairs with the gorgeous views.
We went for Christmas dinner. The food was DELICIOUS. The “view” was just a view of the parking lot, nearby buildings and highway signage. Not very romantic. The service was good. I’d recommend this as a place for great food and drinks but not a fancy date night.
Christmas Day dinner was great
For Xmas day dinner, it was pretty good. I assume they were short staffed so the fact that some of the food wasn’t super hot, we just forgave and enjoyed the flavors.
Christmas dinner. I had the halibut with Brussels sprouts my husband had the short rib grilled cheese with a cup of clam chowder. Both meals were very very good. The champagne sauce on the halibut was light and delicious. The grilled cheese was super flavorful.
We would definitely go back.
We came here for Christmas Eve dinner. The meal was delicious from start to finish. Our table had the chicken, pork shank, short rib pasta, halibut and short rib grilled cheese and they were all delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Highly recommend!
Luckily we had a delightful and very competent server or the evening would have been a bust. The food was just ok for the price. We ordered a “chopped salad” and it was anything but that. It seemed to be some sort of a spinach salad mix. The food was warm when delivered, not hot. Average food .Being seated along the windows where a very large and bright billboard was shining in our faces was annoying. This is our second meal there, and it will be our last.
I had the steak and my daughter and husband had the pork chop and they were wonderful, server was great! Had requested a table upstairs near the window for reservation and we were seated on main floor in a cell room. Would like to see some bottles of wine in the forty dollar price range!
Great service, loved the new menu!
Came in for Xmas eve dinner… great service, food was amazing. Highly recommend for a nice evening out!
I want to give this place 5 stars. The food is honestly SO delicious. There were 7 of us - this is our 2nd time there. The food is consistently yummy.
BUT - tonight we sat UPSTAIRS. Their upstairs feels like an "overflow" and is cold, loud and feels like a giant cafeteria. It does have a spectacular view - but it is not enjoyable dining experience when you're paying $30-40 for the entrees. :(
The downstairs is so fun and unique. but tonight it was closed. So BEWARE - I highly recommend this place if you can SIT DOWNSTAIRS :)
The kale and poached pear salad was one of the best salads I have ever had! The pepita granola was such a nice surprise.
We had such a nice time with a bonus of a tour of the distillery. I highly recommend stopping by!
Good food good service would for sire go back .....
Rip was our waiter and we absolutely adore this place. Sword fish was to die for. I have been here many times for lunch and for dinner. The meals have never failed!
The food was delicious! Rachael, our server, was the best. We ended up buying some bourbon and gin.
The food was excellent, service was a little slow, and the view was gorgeous. But opt for the bar area. The patio room is too way noisy to hear conversations even at your own table.
Restaurants are hard lotta come and go my advice would be if a customer wants to buy it then sell it that could be the only thing to bring him back with more people to visit and or to eat. You are in a service/catering industry you’re relatively new to the area and for Friday at 8 o’clock you were not very busy however there was no reason why you couldn’t be slammed good luck will be back.
It was the first night of a new menu but none of the servers knew about the food or have tasted it. The fish was super overdone and the baked potatoes came out with no accompaniments. The pork shank was really good though along with their whiskey drinks.
This was our second time in. We didn’t have the best experience with food last December and wanted to give it a second chance. The food is just to sweet and “saucy”. My salad was covered in sweetened pears and breakfast granola. The dressing tasted like sugared lemon juice. My husbands burger was ok but again/ slathered with sweet sauce. For the price, the food is just “meh”.
We brought our toddler with us and the waiter was very accommodating. The food and drinks were really good as well.
Great new restaurant with several dining room choices (lower bar, upper atrium, or upper bar). We always do the upper bar (21+ dining). Even despite their issue with getting staff, which every business is dealing with right now) we have received top notch service every single time. Have eaten lunch and dinner there about 8 times now and never disappointed. Really good, unique dishes. Very fun atmosphere and such a fun & creative rustic decorating approach.
We arrived a little later in the evening (6:45p). Seated immediately. Greeted by an awesome/motivated server with great recommendations on drinks and food.
We love Eight Settlers! The Mac and cheese is to die for, and the service and atmosphere can’t be beat. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
