   We were in town for the weekend and happen to choose Eight Settlers for a celebration. The ambiance was wonderful. We were upstairs and able to watch the sunset. It was a warm evening and they opened the windows. Our server was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the menu offering recommendations and bringing fabulous drinks as well. All of the food ordered was excellent. Fried calamari, rosemary bread, spinach dip, ribs for the appetizers. Our entire party enjoyed their meals. It was a perfect way for us to celebrate a special Person in our group. Highly recommend.

   Great food but although our server was very friendly, it took forever to get our drinks, food and check. Our food wasn’t particularly warm either. Restaurant was virtually empty.

   Always great on all levels, service, food, ambience. We especially like it for lunch as it is removed from the normally lunchtime craziness of other restaurants. And food is exceptional.

   I love coming here for lunch! Abbi was our server and is always so kind and gives the best service.

   Enjoyed bringing the family over, greater food and drinks and Emma was attentive and took great care of us. A few members in our party had the pork shank, the exotic burger and short rib grilled cheese and loved every bite.

   Eight Settlers is an ok restaurant. The prices are pretty high for the quality of food and service. Our service was pretty slow for a night where they were not busy and one order was prepared so poorly that we sent it back to the kitchen. Another order was not very good but the party decided not to send it back.

   third visit and it was overall pretty good; we ate in the family friendly ding area not the bar area which has booths and tables for seating - probably a mistake, the crowd in the family ding room was noisy aggravated by the room acoustics and roof/ceiling design; will definitely request bar room seating next time we visit and there will be a next time! Despite the prices being a little on the pricey side, the service was great - Sara our server and her manager were quite attentive without hovering; the food came out quickly and all 3 in our party very much enjoyed our meal - excellently prepared and quite tasty; we left happy though glad to be out of the dim. We'll be back but just sitting in the bar area.
