SIimply outstanding all the way around! The food, the atmosphere and the evening were a hit!
Edwige continues giving a great dining experience!
Food and service - wonderful.
the restaurant was mostly empty on the mid-September mid-week evening when we had dinner there - we’ve been to Edwige many times over the years - always pretty dependable - it was okay this time, nothing more - the lobster chowder was tasty if not very hot - one of us had the Edwige take on the Portuguese pork/potatoes/clams dish and found it over-spiced - the other ordered the pasta bolognese which was fine, but served with squares of bread upon which cheese was melted - kinda weird - friendly service and a nice and well-priced bottle of Vermentino
Great dinner with friends. Lovely experience. Would come again
Cafe Edwige is a charming rustic spot which delights. Overall food was good but one of us had a pork chop
that was rather thin, ordinary, and tough. For thirty dollars it was a failure. Some entrees come with no sides, some with only one. My tasty salmon only came with rice: it would have been nice to come with a grilled vegtable. The waitress was very nice but the water is served at room temp which seems odd. We requested some ice and she brought another carafe of warm water. Not sure we'll be back...
Massively overpriced. Minuscule portions - even club soda & lime! Dry halibut. No effort to correct.
Wonderful evening as always!
We left hungry. Drinks were very good, but appetizer and entrees were very small. The cod was totally unremarkable.
The service was very good. All of the staff were very friendly. The food was good but not very flavorful.
Excellent meal and terrific service. Edwige is one of our favorite spots in Provincetown.
Very enjoyable-drinks were fabulous, staff very friendly and food was yummy.
Disappointing. The food was over cooked and not very interesting. This used to be a great restaurant but it has gone downhill.
Recommended by a friend, food quality overall was just okay - salad overpowered by lemon and lobster chowder had nice flavour, small and would have been improved by being served hot. Shrimp and grits excellent and the cod was also very nice. Server aloof and didn’t seem engaging at all - nice ambience but wouldn’t recommend to anyone when there are so many better choices in PTown.
We had a wonderful meal at Edwidge. We hadn't been there since the new ownership. Recommended highly. The restaurant was comfortable. In the past, it was often too warm. Now they have the climate control adjusted. Service was great.
Wonderful food and service
The room was very warm is all
Place looks much smaller from the outside. Very nice atmosphere. Great service. Good drinks. Terrific food.
Totally transformed to its original excellence under the outstanding new ownership. Food and service waaayyy beyond compare and its one of the best dining experiences in current Provincetown. Innovative menu and creative cocktails.. Don't miss it!
Menu has variety, wine list is small but very good. Service was helpful both with the menu and the wine. Desserts lived up to their review.
Everything was terrific including the staff
The food was exceptional with unique flavors. Service was excellent.
One of my favorites! The outstanding food and service will leave you happy and full!
Great service, terrific food
I had not been to Edwige in many years and so glad that we went back. Food and service were fantastic. We ate at other restaurants in Ptown with high expectations, some fell short, but Edwige was an unexpected joy. Will definitely return and not wait so long.
Super friendly staff, fast service, and terrific reasonably priced and portioned food. We had the salad and strawberry crostini for apps (yum) and the sea bass special and cod for our mains. Initially ordered alcohol free "mocktails", which were better than soda, but underwhelming 😀.
Requested a birthday candle for my wife and several staff sang "Happy Birthday". It was really very special.
Loved the food and our server was great. The room was way too warm.?
Fabulous! Love the menu and Portuguese flavors in some of the dishes. Nice wines. Service staff was great! - knowledgeable and accommodating. Definitely going back.
Everything was perfect! Cocktails were delicious and food was prepared flawlessly. Staff was very nice our host and waitress made us feel welcome.
Good food. Great service!
We had a party of 7. All of us loved our meals. Our server Max was fantastic! It was the best dining experience we had during our week in Provincetown. Highly recommended.
The elegant looking menu and serious prices are misleading. The bread on the bread-board appetizer was dry and commercial, though the truffle honey was a pleasant revelation. I ordered the salmon with a plum coulis and my wife had a swordfish special. Salmon arrived still swimming...in something like plum butter--overly sweet, unsubtle. The filet itself deserved to be smothered. The swordfish had been subjected to a similar treatment, confirming the classic chef's trick of hiding a lack of skill by over-saucing.
Stick with the cocktails. My wife sent the first one back for being stronger than she had asked, but the manager was kind enough to replace it without question and the second try was luscious. My negroni was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Try the espresso martini and skip the desserts.
The bolognese was one of the best!
Excellent food and service. Music and general din much to loud to talk comfortably. Not conducive to conversation.
Unbelievable experience! The food and service is outstanding. I can’t wait to go back.
Love this place. It has consistently delivered creative high quality food with local seafood, and solid service. Good mixologists too.
Overall very good food quality and service.
Requested a window seat for my niece and I, but were told they were being saved for parties of four. Yet we never saw all three tables filled the entire time. Restaurant was not even half filled when we arrived, yet was seated next to a party of 12. Kind of mystifying to me. Not sure I’d go back.
Food was fantastic and the service was amazing! Worth going and will go again when I return to Ptown
Great food and fantastic service, great meal!
Our first time to this cute little restaurant tucked away on the 2nd floor. Delicious strawberry burrata appetizer, tastes like a strawberry shortcake dessert. Had a wonderful tasty pork chop entree with mushrooms. Service was attentive. The only negative was how warm it was in this very warm night, wish the AC was amped up or the windows and doors opened.
