   Wouldn’t recommend service extremely slow, food not good. Only had 1 chef on. Wasn’t even busy and had to wait over an hour between starter and mains. Haggis Bon Bon’s only 4 very small with pepper sauce not even salad or anything £6.50. When main arrived my lasagne was bad quality and burnt and my sisters mac n cheese was extremely greasy.

   Lovely little place to eat, waitress was excellent, very attentive, friendly. We had a meal voucher for steak and wine which was lovely cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable evening. Thank you Edwards bar and grill.

   First visit- thought we'd try lunch with a voucher and if good, would return. Few patrons but still a bit noisy but they did move to the other end of the bar. A DJ was setting up music presumably for the evening but it was loud! The Waiting staff were both lovely and attentive. We both got a drink and food didn't take too long. My husband got Tempura prawn starter with a spicy dip with a kick which he enjoyed. I had nachos which was a generous serving. Main courses - hubby had the steak pie, but it was very over-seasoned, almost to the point of being inedible. Some of the steak was quite tough. My pasta carbonara looked lovely- very creamy with bacon lardons. Served with garlic bread. But there was no flavour to it- quite bland. Perhaps a serving of Parmesan might have bucked it up. No- one came to check on the main course. Although a singer started performing early pm. to a handful of local patrons, there was no atmosphere or ambiance in the place. So sorry, but won't rush back.

   Good honest pub grub , good value for money , very nice surroundings in thr restaurant.

   We ate here on Valentines night. The food was of a good standard and the staff very attentive. Portions were large, a large bowl of home made lentil soup ,followed by steak pie , mash and veg ( all home cooked). Overall, a most enjoyable meal, would I go back? Yes.

   Arrived 12:20 for our 12:30 booking and the place was closed - no-one inside. - Waited until 12:40 & no-one arrived - Called - no-one answered - Voice message - no-one could take my call. - Travelled 29 miles! EMBARRASSING

   Place was clean and tidy. Service was excellent; waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food was not good at all. Nachos and toppings had been heated in oven and were really dry and burnt. Chicken Caesar salad was predominantly shredded lettuce and water. Came to just over £50. Not good value for money at all. Wouldn’t go back. Disappointing.

   Even though I booked through Open Table and got confirmations both by email and by text, the place was closed when we got there. No message or anything on the door and no one answering their phone number. Very disappointing.

    unfortunately although we booked through open table Edwards bar was closed when we got there.So very disappointed
