Got our table reserve for our anniversary. Our server was very efficient and courteous. Will come back again!
Great service! Authentic Japanese and Americanized food with a wide selection. Excellent fish! Very cool design!
This was my second time to an Edoko but a first for this location. It was Valentine's evening and even though the place was busy, it was by no means packed. We were seated at our reservation time. . Service at our table seemed rushed yet the delivery of our orders were slow. Our salad arrived with our meal instead of as an appetizer with no apologies. A fork and knife was delivered to me after the salad arrived, but not my girlfriend. Our table was small so we continually had to shuffle dishes and plates around. With the slow service we actually started stacking plates on a nearby empty table. The food was awesome but the lack of friendliness and attentiveness of the server was quite disappointing.
A great restaurant with great food. The best sushi we’ve had in DFW, to date. We moved here from Philadelphia a year ago, and we had great sushi places there; this may even be better than those restaurants. Great value, as well. We got four rolls when we usually get five, and we still couldn’t finish the fourth. Huge portions, and it’s apparent every roll is prepared with care - there’s so many flavors, and the display is perfect.
We love coming here when we crave sushi. It’s a great date night. Sushi is always on point and delicious.
Edoko, Richardson, has become a favorite dining spot for me since they opened at Cityline. Very friendly service from the moment my party and I step in the door.
The decor is both modern and warming at the same time. Making it a very comfortable, yet active venue to dine in.
The choice of cuisine is very accommodating to all. This isn't just a Sushi Bar. The choices of Hot Dishes, Cold Dishes, Sushi/Sashimi, Robata/Grilled Options ... everyone can find something to love and enjoy.
The menu and waitress were deceiving. The bento box price was $15. Instead of charging us $15 they charged an additional $2 per person for soup we didn’t order separately. It was listed on the menu as part of the bento box. We wouldn’t go back , we felt like we were cheated.
Sea bass, tempura, and sushi was very good
This place is awesome. Really great food and atmosphere. The drinks are really good too. Great place !!
Consistantly great Sushi! I will continue to come back.
Really good sushi! We love Sushi Sake but this was a pleasant suprise and no long lines! Service was excellent food top notch. We will be going back!
We tried this on a lark as we really don't have a great sushi place by us. I can't say that anymore -this place was awesome. Everything we ate, from sashimi to rolls we very good. The waitress was very knowledgeable and you could just tell that everyone involved wanted us to be happy
I had a drink from the specials menu called blood and sand, that alone would be worth the trip back.
Great food, wonderful environment. Will definitely be returning.
Awesome sushi! Everything was very fresh and delicious! Service was impeccable.
Great! Will be back
Loved finding this.
Service was excellent and the food outstanding and ambiance - wonderful.
This is a great area with a number of what looks to be great restaurants just southwest of 75 and George Bush.
We will definitely be coming back again and again.
Extremely diverse menu including cocktails. We enjoyed.
Nice food, great service, accessible location. Parking was problem. Have to wait for 15-20 mins to park. Adding Vale service will help..
The bento box is a nice lunch option. It included Miso soup, an orange slice and a choice of two rolls. The tuna was fresh. The only thing that puzzles me is why it is $1 extra per roll for brown rice, but glad there is even a brown rice option.
The staff were great. Harrison was so patient with us, friendly and knowledgeable.
Went for an early birthday dinner with friends. This was our fifth time to eat here and the food, cocktails and service have been consistently good. Each time we go, we try something new but no matter what else we get, we always order the Lychee Rose (martini) and French Kiss (Sushi roll w/no rice). Though we like many of their rolls, the French Kiss remains a favorite. Last night we had a roll off their special menu and it was amazing! I think it was called the Wild West roll, but those Lychee martinis are causing a bit of a blur. They were just about to shut down the robata, but allowed us order a few items first and that we did. We got one of our favs, the chicken meatballs, and tried a couple new ones: short rib and the shrimp w/bacon. We don't eat pork, but our fiends loved the shrimp and bacon and we loved our short ribs. They had a mild teriyaki flavor and were quite tender. For dessert, our friendly server, Gabe recommended the creme brûlée and we also split the green tea cheesecake. The latter was good, but the creme brûlée was excellent! They knew it was my birthday and added a candle to the cheesecake, which was a nice tough. All in all, we had another wonderful experience and will be back very soon.
The sushi here was so flavorful! It was outstanding. The plating and presentation was well done as well, I had a great experience here. Fair price for the quality and loved the modern ambiance.
Good clean location, very welcoming
They don't serve robata on Mondays or Tuesdays. Pretty ridiculous to advertise Robata so heavily and not sell it everyday you are open. Checked website and no disclosure online. A waste of time as we went specifically for robata.
Service was extremely SLOW even though the restaurant was not busy at all!
Robata chef absent the night we were there so they canceled the entire Robata menu. Not cool.
Arrived at 17:30 and service was great.
Our server, Ryan, was very helpful.
The food was delicious, but the portion was a bit smaller than I expected.
It started getting busy around 18:30 and service slowed; I.e. took a while to get the check.
Good sushi. Pricey hot dishes. Server got confused on our order and we waited quite a bit for all our food to arrive, but since we weren't in a rush, we enjoyed our time there.
Friends and I tried somewhere new to us, and relatively new to the City Line scene in Richardson. Great selection of sushi/sashimi and rolls, lots of delicious robata grilled skewers, plus noodles and fried rice and seafood dinner choices. The atmosphere was both vibrant and comfortable, no rush and food was both appealing to look at and oh so good. Parking at City Line is surely a challenge so arrive early!!
What a surprise! Delicious menu. Amazing atmosphere!
Best restaurant in the new State Farm campus. A must for Richardson/Plano diners.
I find this establishment to be of the highest quality. Very friendly and courteous staff. The dining room has a very modern and inviting decor that adds to the overall experience. The selection of traditional Japanese foods with unique ingredients added in makes for a wonderful meal.
A fine establishment where friends can get together for a smooth, comfortable and appetizing meal ... or a great location to have a meal with a significant other for a date or special occasion.
Great food and service
Always good service. Good choices even if you do not want Sushi. Several good choices from the Robata menu. People are friendly, food is good, place is small but nice. I have been several times and the quality is very consistent
Loved the ambience and customer service. Food was phenomenally fresh!
Fantastic sushi! The variety of options is incredible and it all tastes amazing!
