Food was unimpressive and not tasty. Chocolate roll dessert was also a regrettable order. Place looks nice. Service was slow on a busy Saturday lunch.
Food was amazing but we were seated next to a table of 8 who were very loud and the entire restaurant was open for seating
First time visit to Edith’s French Bistro.
Good food, great waitstaff, absolutely lovely restaurant. Many options for large groups/ special gatherings. Live music was a bit loud but know they are getting used to the new operation and will manage accordingly.
Will absolutely be back!!
Cute restaurant with great location and outside eating area. Some of the food was above average and some was average. Will probably go back just for the ambiance.
Service was not that good, they need more training.
I think there is a lot of potential. Great location, the food was very good. They need more experienced servers. It appeared they were very short handed. The waitress did her best but I think she was waiting on every table in the restaurant. It appeared a manager was trying to help deliver food which was helpful. I think all in all once they get the kinks worked out & hire more experienced people this will be an excellent place!
Booked a reservation for a party of 7 on 11-18-18. No need for a reservation; the restaurant was almost empty. Service was slow (the server told us she arrived for her shift at 8 AM and it was now 8 PM and it showed). Appetizers were good. Took a while to get them and our cocktails. Two of our party had French Onion soup and enjoyed. Two sent back the prime rib crepes as they were cold and the meat was dry and crispy. Once they came back they were warmer but the meat was not changed. French Dip was the same; dry, crispy meat and the au jus was lukewarm. Dessert assortment was very slim. Piped in music was very loud and we asked them to turn it down. They do have brunch on the weekends and perhaps that it why it was a less than stellar experience. We were celebrating my mother's 89th birthday and the next day she told me she did not enjoy the dinner at all. We have been to the Mockingbird Station location and loved it and we were very happy they opened another location nearby but our experience was not a good one and we will not be back to this location.
Made reservations for High Tea and stated so in the notes section. When we arrived, our table was not ready. The staff was not polite and took over 30 mins to get our table and service ready. This was a big disappointment and I would not recommend the overpriced High Tea service. :(
The food lacked flavor/seasoning. Great ambiance but the food is what will make us return to a restaurant. Concept is awesome but a new chef is needed.
Trying to be French, but not authentic. The decor is nice and welcoming.
Food is just so so. My croque monseur was just a ham sandwich that didn't resemble a classic croque. It is an average sandwich you can get at any local deli chain with average quality ham. Not worth it.
The poutine was tasty, and although not classic, was the only good dish I tried.
Avocado toast tasted sweet for some reason, and was not to my liking, but others at the table liked it.
Service was friendly, but our server was forgetful and slow. He was reminded about our drinks 3 times before everybody got them. He also was covering too many tables to be effective, so it was not entirely his fault.
The service is tragic. What could have been a lovely dinner was ruined. If they can’t resolve the issue I don not see how they can continue
The food was good. I think their menu is very ambitious and I would like to try their breakfast the next time I go. I think the lighting was very harsh and would like to see it softened a bit. The accordion player was a nice touch but his music was too loud.
We found the booths to be uncomfortable-very short seats. We were moved to a high-top table. Very pretty restaurant.
Wow! What a surprise. Superb❗️We usually wait for reviews before trying a new restaurant but we just sort of stumbled in to Edith’s . Menu is incredible and food was authentic and delicious . Oh, and did I mention crazy reasonable. The desert menu is like 2 pages but we couldn’t pass up the bananas foster crepe. Oh .. so, so yummy. It was enough for 4 people but we ate the whole thing😍 The restaurant is beautiful and the strolling accordion player made our average Friday night not so average. Can’t wait to go back.
Food and service was great !!!
Horrible! Restaurant is too new and too disorganized. 1.5 hours later we had no food so we got up and left. French restaurant? How about some decent coffee and a mimosa that isn’t 100% orange juice?! Instead of paying an accordion player, how about enough staff and cooks so you can serve food? Pretty decor, but too bad that isn’t edible. Don’t waste your time!
Just opened so have a number of things they need to work on. Server not available because seen serving 3 different rooms all over the indoor area when saw 3 waiters covering less on the patio. Kitchen appears very efficient but plates sitting on bar waiting to be picked up and delivered so food cold. Would give them alittle time to work on things before going.
Good atmosphere, average food, over priced, service needs some work. If it is busy, service cannot catch up the customers. Food is average. Not enough france flavor as it names itself. Price is little high based on the food quality.
Went for the savory soufflé but was told they don't do any soufflé ? So I ordered the Croute Madame and Caesar Salad. Caesar Salad was very good especially the white anchovy but disappointed with the Croute Madame, too much bread think 1 slice would have been good enough and served open faced. Menu is huge and I will most likely go back. prices are very reasonable service needs work but cute place
Don't use the map on this app but load the address yourself. The app takes you to the Legacy Shops and restaurant is at the Boardwalk !!
The worse service ever.they need to get better server or pay better to have better server. Food is good but awful service ruins everything.
This place is a gem. We love the decor! The desserts are to die for and the service is top notch. They are new, so phones don't seem to work yet and they are still working on all dessert items but we were really pleased and excited for their continued growth!
Shout out to Maddy!
