We had a wonderful dining experience at Edison. Our server was very pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. His recommendations were excellent although don’t know that you can go wrong with any of the menu offerings. I had the snapper with artichokes, mushrooms and a truffle risotto, out of this world. My husband had the key west shrimp with bulgur sort of in a soupy “asopao “ style, beautiful flavors. The dessert sounded like an upside down cake, well maybe some of the flavors, pineapple with burnt sugar but a far cry from. This is a square piece of pudding like vanilla cake crusted with torched sugar topped with pieces of pineapple, macadamia nuts, little batons of sugar crisp a puddle of passion fruit on the side and a scoop of butter ice cream. Believe it or not this all goes down very light. Unfortunately, taking meds an could not partake of the wonderful wine and libations, something to look forward to on our next visit! 👍

Outstanding, as is always my experience. Food is creative using best local ingredients. Cocktail menu fantastic. Above all, wait stuff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. One of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

Food was incredible-amazing
Worst waiter and service ever in my life
I went with my family to celebrate my 55th birthday-the host was very nice-the waiter (wish I could remember his name, tall, thin, glasses, blond with tatts about 45ish) was the rudest and worst skilled waiter I have ever seen. MY entire family has worked as a server at one time or another. My daughter ordered a bottle of cider and while pouring it the waiter poured it all over her Michael Kors wallet, her car keys, her Iphone, her hands and her lap-all the while laughing and then commenting that "thats what you get for putting your things on the table". Ha ha -not funny... Then for my second drink I ordered a mojito which came with no mint, I said "I really enjoy the mint could you add some please?" The waiter said :geez, it's in there you just can't see it" I said where" he said it's powdered-hmm I said "do you have any mint leaves?" FINE! he yelled and grabbed the drink out of my hand spilling it on me and elbowing my daughter in the face as he lurched across the table. he then slammed the drink on the bar and yelled out for the whole restaurant to hear-"Ive had to serve people like you before!!!" Well that was enough for us-we were just finishing our appetizers and were about to order entrees. I was almost in tears so we left. We spoke to the host/manager on the way out who apologized but did not offer for us to come back and try again another day. We loved the food there and can only hope they fire this imbecile so we can go back.

Decided to have birthday celebration here because I heard great things about restaurant. The restaurant and staff lived up to every expectation. Thank you for helping make this celebration that much more memorable.

I love Edison but I absolutely hate the $3 valet- they park my car within 10 feet of the door and they want to be paid to do it. Other then that the dinner was good- I got the duck and it was a bit underdone for my liking but overall a good meal.

EXCELLENT!!! Food, Service, Drinks, Ambience...everything was outstanding! Would highly recommend. Read reviews online and was extremely pleased with this choice. If I’m ever in the area again I will be back...it was that good!!!

Nice quiet atmosphere where the drink list is longer than the menu. Perfect for some Pillow Talk and The Enchiridon (handcrafted cocktails). We shared the charcuterie which would have been perfect on its own with a glass of Jane's Vineyard Pinot Noir. The red snapper was perfectly prepared and served over risotto while the New York strip was accompanied by sauteed eggplant and crispy roasted potatoes. No room for dessert or money left in our wallets so we paid our $3 parking service fee and headed home. Glad we went!

Edison never disappoints. The chef always comes up with creative, unique dishes. Definitely a spot for foodies. Worth the drive from St. Pete to experience the seasonal menu.

Prices on the higher end . A favorite place to eat. Potato crusted oysters the best- what beings us back (even though 5 for $18 seems a bit much )- but we still come back 😊

Anniversary dinner but the noise was so loud, we sat in silence and couldn’t speak to each other. However, I know all about a great dress store in London from the party two tables over.

In Tampa on business and decided to try Edison. Very busy spot and a bit noisy ... mainly because it was so popular. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of, with great service and attention by host. However, the start of the evening was the food. Absolutely great. Inventive without being too complicated. the flavors were interesting but also satisfying. Amusingly enough, the highlight of the entire meal 9for me) was a a small ball of aji amarillo sorbet that came with the tuna appetizer. It was like a little ball of sweet, hot sunshine.

Let’s just start with this...I love this restaurant! The location is trendy, the ambiance is buzzing, the cocktails delicious. The seats however could be a little more comfortable (we sat in a wooden booth). Maybe throw in a few cushions!
The starters on the menu are my favourite. We had the potato crusted oysters, the tuna sashimi was perfect and the bone marrow & poached egg an interesting but tasty combination. I have eaten here several times and often feel when I leave that maybe I should have just stayed with the starters. I feel the main course dishes just let the side down a little.

The food is unbelievably tasty and bursting with so many different flavors that I would never dream go well together. It really is a lab for figuring out great flavor combinations. I have been there twice now and was blown away both times with every single dish (app through desert). Definitely worth the money and effort to go.

Long drive to get there to visit family that live in the area but worth the trip .....highly recommended. As one of my dining companions said, "they put a lot of thought into the flavors.... and it was very creative and very delicious"

My husband and I have been there twice in the last few weeks. Our first visit was on our anniversary in March and Carolina really made us feel special. We were given complimentary champagne to toast our 44th. We love the food, service and energetic feel! We have always been fans of Chef Jeannie and she has another hit to her list. We just couldn't believe it has been there so long and we hadn't eaten there. We've had Carolina and Matthew serve us and we thoroughly enjoyed their friendly, professional and knowledgeable service. We will continue to frequent Edison!!!

The Smokey bourbon cocktail, the fried oysters and the snapper and grouper were all prepared with artistic culinary artistry that was so enjoyable. As good as the food and drinks are the interpersonal skills and culinary knowledge of Clarissa and the staff take the dining experience to another level. My wife and I have had two great meals here that top all other dining experiences. This upscale unassuming atmosphere is just a fabulous experience.

Always a pleasure to dine at Edison’s. Great staff and great food. Even if you do not eat oysters you have to try the potato crusted oysters, so yummy. Great apple salad with nice pieces of white cheddar cheese, so refreshing. And the buratta and tomatoes salad ( usually 3 types of tomatoes) is a favorite. Super craft cocktails and wines. Nice entrees including several wonderful fish. Valet parking behind the restaurant makes is helpful as street parking is limited.

Consistently the food is fabulous and the service flawless. Love the knowledge of all the servers we’ve had but this time Carolina was above and beyond. Fried oysters, butter salad, burrata and tomato salad, scallops, trout, chicken and waffles and the outrageous butter cake and phenomenal coffee ended our perfect meal!!!! Chef is a scholar.

Mixed feelings ...despite having a reservation had to wait at least 25 mins for table. ..not a great start. Eventually managed to squeeze into the bar to order drinks.. fabulous cocktails and the bar staff were on top of their game..couldn't fault their service. Paulina was excellent but one of the other wait staff was rude ,slapped our dinner down while we still had appetizers on the table with no explanation before stomping off. Also the same person kept banging into my chair every time he walked past..despite us moving the whole table a foot to give him extra room after the first time he did it. Certainly does not enhance the whole dining experience. The food was very well executed. I appreciated that the blue cheese on the butter lettuce salad was substituted out and both our fish entrees were cooked per our request. The butter sponge dessert was a perfect finale.
