Had a reservation for 6pm. Arrived on time and was seated promptly. Servers was friendly and explained the dishes well. Ambience is unmatched, beautiful view of the lake and the restaurant had a nice retro vibe. Can’t comment on the alcoholic beverages as we did not order any. Was given fresh bread and butter prior to the Apps, nice warm and fluffy bread, great honey butter. Apps were good, lobster bisque soup, French onion soup. Had the seared scallops as well, for 31 dollars it was 2 pieces of scallop on top a strip of thick cut bacon, I don’t know for that price maybe expect more than just 2 non jumbo scallops but taste was good. Then this is where it fell apart. We ordered 2 pasta dishes for our mains. Now we don’t dine at fine dining establishment frequently but having worked catering a bit myself I know they wouldn’t serve entree till the appetizers was done. However we were done eating our appetizers around 635 pm. They cleaned the table but then did not bring out the mains until 725! The waiter came by one time maybe around 7 saying our mains should be out soon. We ordered 2 pasta dishes so I don’t understand why it took almost an hour? No explanation, water glass sat empty for a while, my wife and I just sat there waiting. If it was packed I would understand, but there were maybe 8 tables that night so not sure what happened. There was a function in the next room over and our waiter went MIA for a bit. There was a point I want to just leave. By the time our entrees came, no apologies, no explanation, the waiter tried to crack jokes but I wasn’t in the mood. Food taste good, I had lobster linguine and was pleasantly surprised at how much lobster was in there, but for $49 I guess it should be the norm. However my appetite was not there any after the long hour wait. I actually asked the bill immediately when they served us entree since I don’t want to wait another hour for them to bring the bill to me. Overall nice place, friendly service but waited too long.

What a wonderful way to celebrate our 34th Anniversary. Food, atmosphere and service by Sebastian was impeccable. We will definitely be returning. Pamela Morrison

Outstanding service from the bar to both our servers. Food and drinks were top notch. A drink outside on the lake before dinner was the start of a great night!

My partner and I had our anniversary dinner at Edgewater Manor and we had a wonderful time :) food was really delish and the portion sizes were great! I would definitely recommend going to Edgewater Manor.

If you haven't been, its a must go to restaurant. Service is alway impeccable and the food delicious! View is not too shabby too as you can see straight across Lake Ontario on a clear day.
