Entrees were brought out before the appetizers, the $$$ Grouper was badly over cooked, the Scallops were salted to death. Thankfully, my mother in-law and my wife decided to split the Grouper entree or we would have had to pay for two bad pieces of fish. I was assured my entree would be re-prepared since we hadn't received our appetizers. It looked EXACTLY like the one presented prior. When asked what kind of Grouper was being served, the waitress returned and replied "Giant Grouper." So, there I sat, between Provisions and Fishy Fishy wishing I had taken my anniversary dinner to either one of those places.

Food and the outdoor seating was phenomenal! Aside from the hostess forgetting to assign a server, eventually noticed by Julie who became our server and was great, the overall experience was great!

Everything was spot on. The Brussel Sprout appetizer was fantastic. The whole V-Liner was cooled to perfection, very fresh. The service could not have been better. We appreciated Chef Kenneth coming to the table and checking on us.

Food was delicious. Service was not. Never got our appetizer and never got drink refills the entire time we were there. Our go to for a nice dinner is Island Way and we wanted to try something different this time. Unfortunately this was a miss, we won’t be back. Expected better service for the cost of the meal.

We were a group of 8 ladies, there to celebrate a birthday. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the sunset. It was a hot night but between the ceiling fans and breezes off the water, it was perfect. The food was wonderful and the drinks were great. Our waitress, Julie, was AMAZING! She was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. She brought a wonderful chocolate moose desert for the birthday girl, which we all shared.

Our server Julie was excellent! We have dined here several times and had the pleasure of Julie serving our table and each time she has been attentive, knowledgeable, polite and helpful. The food, cocktails & water view also help to make this restaurant one of our favorites :)

Waitstaff needs some work. We ordered a side dish of Brussel Sprouts that was brought out 15 minutes before the entrees. Of course by the time the entrees arrived, the side dish was cold. We sent it back and asked for another. The mussels were supposed to be served with focaccia, which never arrived. We had to flag our server down for the bread. We dined on a weekday evening during off-peak season, lots of empty tables yet still took 40 min for food to arrive. Not huge issues, but server annoyances make for a less than outstanding experience.

My steak was raw and inedible even after sending it back to cook more. Butchers cut was supposed to be medium rare- it was jello. My guest requested rare salmon- it was over cooked and sent back for a replacement Her husbands fries came out before his mussels and were cold, then reheated. Husbands shareable shrimp was too oily, and ceviche too spicy with very little fish. First bad experience had here. Nothing taken off bill, waiter was very very apologetic and tried to please.

We loved our time at Edgewater. We went there with friends from out of state. We were celebrating my husbands retirement. It was a lovely evening. I believe our server was Mary. She was lovely and very helpful.

Our first time for dinner and we will definitely be back! Excellent service, food, & love sitting outside on the patio with the breeze from the water! So relaxing! We expected a little expensive but with appetizers, meals, drinks & dessert, we were happily surprised with the bill! Perfect for a nice evening out in our beautiful little town!

My wife and friend were both disappointed with their shrimp and scallops dish. Very skimpy. 2 shrimp. 3 scallops for $25. Really? I ordered the fried fish platter which included catfish, shrimp, and oysters. Seem to be over cooked. She has a catfish wasn’t nearly as good as the last time I ate there. The tartar sauce tasted like dill dressing. I told the waiter in here shirred me. It was tartar sauce. Typically tartar sauce has mayonnaise and pickle relish.

All of our food was very good but the pasta and the gumbo was slightly overcooked. We ate inside and it was quite warm due to doors to the outside constantly being opened and closed. Our server, Taylor, was great. It was our first time there. We'll go back and next time hopefully sit on the deck to catch that gorgeous sunset. Overall, a very good experience.

We had the crab dip as our appetizer and it was delicious but our cheese grits were basically the same thing. The scallops were amazing with the collards and bacon jam. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was fun and great for a quieter birthday celebration.

We enjoyed a lovely meal early Friday evening. Our meal was delicious. We were both pleased. Haley was our server and was both pleasant and helpful. It was quiet as we were there early and that suited us well. We always have had good food at Edgewater 122 and consider it a good value.

More upscale option amongst some other American style dives. Ambience and decor were nice, reminded us a bit like a wedding venue. Food was delicious, my filet was cooked to perfection. Seafood options sounded delicious although our party was in more of a terrestrial mood. Good selection of cocktails, and a kids menu for the littles. I would come back to dine again.
