   Second time eating here and food was soooo good! My husband had the rib eye with baked potato and Cesar salad. I had the special, Bucca slow cooked pork on pimento grits with greens and tomato soup as an appetizer. Fabulous! We shared the raspberry cheese cake. Two Irish coffees. Very attentive waitress staff, chef and manager stopped by our table to make sure all was perfect! Highly recommend! Call for reservations. You will not be disappointed. And, what a beautiful view of the Cape Fear River as the sun goes down…

   Everything was wonderful, beyond our expectations. Haleigh was a delightful server. We would ask for her in the future. All of the food was delicious and bountiful. We look forward to visiting again.

   For our first visit to Edgewater 122, my wife and I were extremely impressed. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. For starters, we had the baked pimento and crab dip. Now I know a thing or two about pimento cheese and this appetizer was fantastic. For our entrees, we both had a16 oz. ribeye steak served with twice baked potato and asparagus. The steaks were prepared perfect and the sides were equally good. We'll certainly be visiting again...hopefully soon!

   Our waiter apologized for not giving us his best service. He had so many tables to take care including a large party. Didn’t see him after we were served until clearing our plates. The crab cake was good while the roasted salmon had little flavor. Very noisy due to large party near us.

    Service was excellent…friendly & knowledgeable. The crab cakes were loaded with fresh crab and the stone ground grits and grilled asparagus were delicious. My husband loved his Mahi Mahi special & his Cali shrimp cocktail. Already made a second reservation!

    From the greeting at the door upon our arrival throughout our meal, everything was great! Our server, Julie, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable and made nice suggestions. I had the crab cakes with homemade dill tarter sauce. Very good! My husband had the surf and turf - the lobster was cooked perfectly, tender and sweet! The steak, too, was cooked perfectly medium rare and was full of flavor! The drinks were really good, the beer was cold! The staff was professional, service outstanding, food excellent! It was cold and rainy outside but inside warm and cozy. We will definitely be back!

    Another fabulous dining experience at Edgewater 122. Appetizers of pimento cheese dip with bread, and a stuffed shrimp dish were wonderful. Then, three of us had a beef filet and lobster tail special that night. One had a whole bass fish dinner and was perfect as well. Excellent service and we were also able to enjoy a great sunset. Thank you!

    We had a very nice waitress but the drinks took a long time to come out. Steaks ordered medium came out very well done and those ordered medium rare, came out medium. By the time my refine came out, everyone was done eating.

    The cocktails and the Brussels sprouts do not miss!!! It was chilly and windy outside but we were very comfortable on the heated outdoor patio. Love the ambiance here. Steak frites, pimento crab dip, salmon; so fresh and flavorful!

    Wonderful experience here from the minute we strolled in! The food and service were excellent. Salads were huge and shrimp were perfectly cooked. We both had fish. The local mahi was delicious and grilled tuna med rare with a tasty pesto was like butter. The view ain’t bad either 🛥️ thank you !

    The presentation of the meals was excellent, and the food was delicious! We all agreed that this is the finest dining in the Southport/Oak Island area. The staff was exceptional, also. We will be back!

    Love this place - food and service food. My fish was a little fishy and the vegetable tasted sugary which is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Will return.

    Our shrimp, calamari and oyster appetizer was fantastic ! The salmon as well as the steak and frits delicious. Our Server was attentive and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience.

    Made a reservation for 6 pm and we sat right down. Server came right over with menu’s and took our drink orders. The four of us were quite comfortable and enjoyed our fish dinners. A very good experience and look forward to going back
