Lovely and open atmosphere
Very creative, delicious food! The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, highly recommend going to Eden!
Amazing through and through
Amazing food, ambiance and overall experience!
Outstanding food and value. Just a little too noisy inside with all the hard surfaces, but otherwise absolute perfection. We’ll be back many times.
Probably the most beautiful food presentation.
Very casual atmosphere with sophisticated food.
Great service from everyone on staff.
Always delicious food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Sat at the bar this time and enjoyed the homemade Olive Bread, Lamb Meatballs, and the Herb & Porcini Spätzle (pictured).
Amazing craft cocktails
Third visit And we will keep coming. Nice casual chic room and one truly delightful dishes including the savory “doughnut” appetizer,” the little gem
Cesar , the unusual and tasty curry lentil Brik, an the intense desserts. Accessible wine list too. Totally pleasurable.
Very loud inside but a great meal
Eden had been on my list of place I wanted to visit for awhile and it did not disappoint. We sat at the kitchen counter and had a lovely experience. The service was fantastic. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious. My favorites were the seafood stew and the sea bass. Everything that came out of the kitchen was a work of art. We will definitely be back.
Very accommodating staff, excellent cocktails and wine list. Food was even better than expected. Beautifully presented and delicious. Reasonable portion sizes and the homemade bread is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Terrific spot for pre-United Center event meal. 4 minute walk to stadium.
It was great having dinner at Eden. We decided to go out to dinner last minute and Eden had a table available without a wait. Our server was nice and very helpful. The food per usual was great and the black chocolate dessert in particular was fantastic.
Food is delicious. Welcoming environment.
Free parking in lot.
Another great meal at Eden. Had dinner twice, and returned this time for brunch. Service was excellent, relaxed, fun. And the food was definitely above par - even compared with some of the better brunch spots in the city. Dining rooms are stylish. Bonus: on premise and easy street parking for those who are driving.
William was wonderful as was the food and atmosphere.
Voices carry in the space so it’s a little hard to hear but looking forward to trying dinner!
My mom and I really enjoyed brunch here the other day. The decor/atmosphere is fun and inviting, and both of our dishes were excellent. I got a rice bowl with coconut broth and pickled veggies -- very different from the typical brunch menu and delish! Mom got the burger which looked like a very decent one. Would definitely come back.
Great seasonal food. Fancy Mediterranean with a twist
Eden’s hand crafted cocktails and exceptional service never cease to amaze me. The crudo dish, bone marrow and homemade bread and desserts are pure deliciousness! Haven’t had a bad meal yet. Bravo To the entire Eden staff! Will be back.
Everything was delicious!
The desserts were the only thing that were not perfection.
Next time we will do after dinner drinks.
My husband’s lamb shank was the most delicious lamb we have ever eaten!!
Went to this restaurant for dinner. The food was very good, very fresh tasting and flavorful, but I was not that impressed. The non-alcoholic beverage was also very fresh tasting. I thought the pricing was high for what you were getting. Dinner for two was slightly over $100, and I was still hungry when I arrived home. It's very likely I will not return. But, if someone is in the area I would say give it a try. This seemed to be a place where you would go just for the "experience" of something different. Once the tab was paid the server totally ignored our table. We lingered for a bit just chatting. Another staffer continued to fill our water glasses. Interesting.
The ambiance was lovely. It has a fresh, clean feel. There were six of us and we felt as though the food had too many varied spices. I love seasoning, but this felt overboard. I loved the concept they were going for but execution was lacking in my opinion.
I am an extremely picky eater, and I was shocked that I was able to order off the menu and the dish was simply perfect, they have a great chef! Would definitely come back for the Sunday brunch.
Went for brunch. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for dinner.
While looking for a location close to United Center, we discovered this gem of a restaurant. Food and service exceptional! Will definitely go back.
Creative menu great flavor don’t be intimadated
Fantastic! My husband and I were looking for something close to the Garfield Park Conservatory, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Brunch was delicious!
Overall, we had a good brunch experience. The restaurant decor is simple, but enjoyable. The service was very good and always on point with coffee and water refills.
The food was good, as in the flavors were tasty. But there was nothing too inspiring. Granted, it was brunch, but Chicago is a brunch city and I expect a solid brunch game.
We started with the doughnuts, which I highly recommend. Just the right amount of sugar combined with the salted caramel sauce. The entrees, again, were tasty, but nothing spectacular. Also, they have a savory heavy brunch menu. The nutella crepe and bakery items were really all they had to offer my wife's breakfast sweet tooth.
I'm not sure that I would return for brunch, but more so lunch or dinner. This is just one person's opinion and I would recommend anyone to try them out.
Matt gave professional, knowledgeable, friendly service. The staff worked together splendidly to make our dinner lovely.
The ambience is peaceful and beautiful.
The food is delicious. The special olive bread made by the pastry chef in-house with sides of house-churned butter and extra virgin olive oil is not to be missed.
We shared the beet salad. It was a beautiful presentation and every element added flavor and texture to the dish without detracting from the unique flavor of each type of beet in the dish.
The husband enjoyed the lamb shank which was decorated with micro greens and pomegranate arils.
I enjoyed every morsel of the lentil brik. It was a bit salty, but the flavors and textures enhanced each other. I highly recommend the brik and the beet salad.
I enjoyed the hazelnut dessert. It was layered gelato, cookie, chocolate and textural contrasts enhanced the dish. I just wish it had been a larger portion.
Overall, a touch dear for a weekly visit, but we plan to return.
Free parking in the private lot which is well lit.
Specials available Tuesday through Thursday.
Overall, I recommend Eden for a special occasion.
So glad to discover this spot! Mixed modern, spacious decor with historical pieces. Knowledgeable and gracious service. Delicious cocktails. And the food was excellent! Great flavors in all four entrees and the sunchoke shareable dish we ordered. Want to come back and try more dishes:).
The food was terrible and over priced. I was very disappointed.
Was there for Valentine’s Day , we were shuttled to the “ back room” I asked for the music to be turned on ... it was generic like the kids table. I’m sure I could have gotten table in main room which had a good vibe but didn’t feel up for the hassle ( if I make reservations well ahead of time I expect a good table ) the food was fine nothing remarkable , I liked the chicken dish and service and wine list was good. Sorry I can’t recommend and won’t be back
I went to Eden for brunch on a Sunday and absolutely loved everything about it. The decor and bathrooms were modern and beautiful--it felt like an escape into Spring from Chicago's winter blizzards. The food was innovative, artistic, healthy, and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back here.
My family loves coming here for brunch when they visit. They offer seasonal menus and its always fun to try new drug on the menu!
My second visit and I loved it just as much. Creative drink and food menus and attentive service.
Eden was superb. Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent - did not feel rushed. Highly recommend you give them a try.
My wife and I loved everything about it. Can’t wait to go back. Found it because we were going to a Blackhawks game. I’d go back in a heartbeat whether I was going to a United Center event or not.
Had the Sunchokes, Beet Salad, Octopus and Cauliflower. Yes, we went veggie heavy and every bite was delicious. The French Chablis was a nice accompaniment.
Great staff and the chef came by to say hello.
It doesn’t get better than this.
Loved it - we were looking for a veg friendly place and this fit the bill. We'll be back!
I got an email from Open Table asking: "How was Eden?" Answer: Not good.
I don't want to spend anymore time reviewing this place. We ordered maybe 8 items altogether. The lamb was good and the brussel sprouts were good. THAT IS ALL. The other items were so unfortunate. One person got the lasagna which is a combination of babyfood, ketchup, and fritos. PPrice is usually not a factor for me because I usually feel that it's fair, but the price to portion ratio was horrific. My favorite part of the restaurant: There's a parking lot.
We love Eden but the last couple times we’ve come for dinner they have really dropped the ball. Service was horrible. Our server dropped off the food and then was nowhere to be found... which was a problem because the meat was cold on 2 of the 4 dishes. He returned to two meals uneaten at the end of the dinner and was surprised to find out and not apologetic at all when he could have remedied this had he just checked in. Embarrassing because we took 4 other friends here and were celebrating - such a bust. Won’t be returning.
