Great Sunday brunch with friends. Delicious food, shared many sides and sweets. Service was top notch. Will be back.
Husband and I were happy to find this gem! Fabulous food - creative flavor combinations and beautiful, yet not too fussy, presentation. Attentive and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we needed to rush through dinner due to bad traffic and theatre reservations that followed. The waiter was wonderful at getting us out in a timely fashion. Can't wait to go back when we have more time to enjoy all this restaurant has to offer.
Very happy I chose Eden. Food was excellent. Ingredients were super fresh, too!
The most delicious brunch! We have always gone to Eden for dinner and really loved it. We had brunch there for the first time and we are in love. The veggie omelet was simply outstanding. Can’t wait to return!
Such a great place and so close to the United Center! The food was very creative and delicious. Loved the atmosphere!
2nd visit and it was as delicious a meal as our first time at Eden. We love all the deconstructed food and the desserts are so amazing. One wouldn't think that Umeboshi ice cream,or an apricot fennel combo would be so incredible. We really appreciate their dessert chef!!!
Our server (Shane), and especially the support wait staff, Raphael, were amazing. The attention of the manager, Shawn, was unending and added a lovely personal touch to our dining experience. Thank you all.
We have one serious suggestion though, add some acoustic tiles or noise barriers , if only on the ceiling, and some noise barrier type art onto the walls to address the noise levels...we found ourselves shouting to one another and talking above one another due to the cacophony of voices surrounding us. It wasn't pleasant but we dealt with it. Other than this, the ambiance and energy of the place is welcoming.
We'll definitely be back! Kudos to your establishment!
Excellent service and good quality food. Busy for Sunday brunch despite road construction making it a little more difficult to get to. We will definitely return.
Eden was such a lovely place for brunch.
Amazing on all counts!
Thr ambiance was great and vibrant, the food and drinks were mind blowingly stellar and the service, especially Emidio was the perfect definition of impeccable service. Will go back again and again till I tried everything on the menu!!👍👍👍
Expensive, but outstanding food and service.
What a find! Fab cocktails, great food. The vegetarian apps and entree were thoroughly enjoyed by veg heads and meat eaters alike. Service was flawless and personable. Glad we ate outside - occasional competition with the El during conversation anchored us in Chicago while inside was a continual buzz of conversation. Good looking crowd
Great date spot with my wife
Awesome food and amazing service
Amazing Chefs tasting menu. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved the airy, open atmosphere. It was too hot to dine outside but will go back to do so. Sunday brunch was delicious- quinoa cakes were superb.
Our meal was terrific.
The food was really good. Very ecletic mix of influence and flavors. Food was fresh and well portioned. Waitstaff was a little too attentive, but I think meant well. Slightly odd location, but nice atmosphere inside.
The food was outstanding, as was the service. However, the noise level was unbearable! We were totally unable to have a conversation with our friends. We would probably not return.
The location is unusual - further west than the West Loop restaurant glut, and under the L tracks. It was a beautiful night and we sat outside. It was peaceful and quiet except for the periodic L train blasting by. The food was all incredibly fresh, creative, and wonderful. They grow many of seasonings and garnishes in the greenhouse behind he restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive but not overly intrusive as they can be at nice restaurants. For us, it hit the perfect balance between being an upscale but still casual dining experience.
Delicious foods and beautiful decorations. Our family shared 4 dishes and all were happy with each choice.
Awesome every time. Great wine list too!
We were looking for something new? We found it at Eden. Good stuff.
Ambiance and food were great for a nice pre-concert dinner. Food came out a little slow, but the staff was well aware and did their best to make up for the delay by providing great service.
I had the purple potatoes to start, the ceviche and the butcher steak. All were awesome!
Eden came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The Eden cocktail was a great way to begin dinner and things just got better from there. Delicious food and probably the best beef salad I have ever eaten.
We waited for 40 minutes between our salad plates being cleared and the arrival of our entrees. Slow service. My other suggestion would be to offer complimentary bread, calling it a starter and charging just seems petty.
Very nice brunch celebration for our friend! Waitress was wonderful and it was the perfect day for al fresco dining
Really good food! Service - could be better. Got seated right away, but we waited 30-45 minutes to order, and another ~40 minutes to pay. Part of the wait to pay was because we were overcharged for food, and rectifying the mistakes seemed to be a challenge.
Loved everything about it!
If you can get there, the food at Eden is spectacular. Our group shared the lamb/beef meatballs (one pronounced them the best she'd ever had) and the Red Crab Vesuvio, a lovely pasta dish with interesting textures and flavors. Our table shared the Salmon (wonderful), the Lamb Shank (fall off the bone delicious) and the spaetzle. The space is delightful and the service attentive. Don't be dissuaded from visiting by the construction on Lake Street. Approach from Damen on the west and head east toward Ashland. There's a medium size parking lot on the property.
Great meal. Wonderful food, taste outstanding. Good service. Too noisy!
As a recent transplant from NYC to Chicago, my wife and I have tried plenty of restaurants in the West Loop area, and Eden has so far moved to very top of our list for a variety of reasons.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our server Bill (trust every recommendation this man makes). A bit quiet, but it was an early Thursday dinner, but that did not take away from the ambiance or experience.
We started with the Umami Doughnut (no brainer), Grilled Asparagus (phenomenal - the puffed rice they grow in the greenhouse gives it a unique taste), and the Beet Salad (I'm not actually a fan of beet salads, but this is absolutely the best we have ever had). My wife had one of the pastas and I had the Sea Bass - both were great, and we are eager to come back to try more.
We were also greeted by the new GM, Emidio, who really made us feel like VIPs.
Looking forward to our next visit, and looking forward to trying the brunch menu!
Thank you for an excellent and unexpected dining experience!
Exceptional food and service. We went for brunch and I am eager to try it for dinner. Strongly recommend.
Excellent chef and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Minor nit: Would have given 5 stars but we made a small request for a birthday surprise, the manager said no problem, but in the end they forgot about it (presumably because the place gets very busy.)
Beautiful restaurant with wonderful service. The seasonal menu had a nice variety and we shared many delicious dishes. My favorite was the lamb shank and the Unami donuts. Highly recommend!
Celebrated Mother’s Day with the tasting menu. It was outstanding and perfect. The flavors were enticing and intriguing and every course was impressive. The wine paring was a must, doing this again ASAP
We had a very lovely time at Eden. We were getting together for a girls group. The cocktails were great. Our server was so wonderful. Very informative, kind, and attentive without being all over us. The food was very good. I especially liked the eggplant agnolotti, the tea brine pork chop, and the roasted sun choke. I will definitely be back.
Celebrated Mothers Day. Food took over an hour to arrive :( Frose were amazing!
Chef's Counter was amazing, fresh food and tasty beverages.
Forever one of our favorite restaurants!
We came in for my birthday. The experience started out really good. The appetizers were great! My dad and I went with the servers recommendation which was the pork chop. We asked how it was prepared and he said medium. We told him we prefer it medium to mid rare. Nothing is worse than an over cooked dry pork chop. Well...both of our pork chops were over cooked, well done and dry. The flavors were good but the chop itself was so dry. When we told he server, rather than taking ownership and fixing the issue...he told us why sometimes the pork chop will come out over cooked. I said if this was a nice piece of beef at a steakhouse the mistake would be remedied. Not such at Eden. He didn’t even really apologize for the kitchens mistake, bring out a manager, etc. We were just left to eat our over cooked $33 pork chops. I worked in the upscale service industry for almost 10 years and this is the opposite of how the situation should’ve been handled. We would’ve definitely come back and recommended the place to others but NOT now.
