Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    We had a great afternoon at Eddingtons. Great, friendly service and quick with meal delivery. I had asked before we arrived if we could linger after our meal to visit with high school friends of over 50 years. They allowed us to do this and gave us lots of space & time to reminisce and enjoy our long time friendship. Food was delicious. We'll be back. Thank you.

    Food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Menu is tight but worked to fully satisfy the broad range of pallets at our table which was burgers to prime rib. Dishes were beautifully plated and presented by a team of dedicated servers - seamless to the end. Facility is impeccably clean with pleasant ambience. Outdoor patio, where we sat, has a great vibe with excellent music, yet felt intimate, and charming, possibly due to the abundance of fresh herbs intermingled with flowers in the flower boxes. The smell of a wood burning BBQ pit pulled us in from the street, whetting our appetite before we even looked at the menu. Had the best "melt in your mouth" prime rib; juicy, with a hint of smoke in a divine au jus. Asparagus perfectly cooked. My husband and I are very particular about where we eat and getting full value. Eddington's never fails to tick all the boxes. As repeat customers we highly recommend this restaurant.     The evening was one of the best, our server had just started her serving career and was great. The food was wonderful and the hand written note wishing my wife a Happy Birthday was very noticed.
