Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    Awesome food and service. One of us is celiac. Lots of options and made sure they looked after us.

    We had a great dinner. The special and one menu item. Both were excellent and value priced. Lovely patio atmosphere and great service. Wine selection was delicious and value priced as well.

    Probably the most beautiful patio in southwestern Ontario. Food was delicious. Asked for light dressing on the salad and it came perfect. Shrimp said collosal and they were. Cooked and flavored to perfection.

    The perch dinner was excellent. Never leave disappointed after a dinner at Eddington's.

    It was our first time at Eddingtons, we have driven past it for years always saying that we should try it. Well finally we did and both enjoyed a wonderful meal, lovely ambiance and happy, friendly staff. We are already planning to return soon.

    Excellent as always! Food was top notch, best service we've had at a dinner out in a long time. We felt spoiled. Will be returning soon. Live this place!👍

    We had a delicious meal. The service was top notch. We all enjoyed our meals. They meals we enjoyed where the seafood soecial, smash burger and salad with chicken. We started with dill pickle fries. We recommend any of those dishes. Be sure to save some space for dessert. We had the chocolate flourless torte and the carrot cake cheese cake. Oh my, it was all delicious. The patio is beautiful. A young fellow was playing guitar and singing. It was at the perfect volume to enjoy and have a conversation with friends. We will certainly return. Maybe go for a pre dinner walk at the .Morrison Dam, to work up a good appetite.

    Great dining experience at a reasonable price! Would recommend for anyone looking for a fine dining experience. From the host to the waitress and the rest of the staff, a great place to eat.
