Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    The Chef's Special Tenderloin dinner was delicious. My husband had the Truffle Sacchetti Pasta and raved about it. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner memory. We will be back!

    We had a great meal, the Appleby Chicken and the Shrimp Linguine. The wait staff was excellent.

    excellent service! I had a friend with me who has a lot of food allergies etc and the waitress and chef were more than accommodating. They actually made her something special not on the menu

    The restaurant and service were outstanding but I feel that the food and its cost vs. value were lacking especially on the steak order (Chefs Choice).

    Always consistent, never disappoints. We invited friends to meet us there that had never been and they loved it! We will meet again when the beautiful patio is open!
