The crab cakes are a favourite
Steak was done to perfection
Great place for steak and sea food
Excellent food, service and complete experience for my party of 12.
Quite simply, the food was equisite and the service was excellent.
Food is excellent. We got a waiter that ignored all his tables except for one who he pampered. We spent over $600 at our table and he ignored us most of the night. Served one person at our table then came back for others. Then brought appetizer after main course. Absolutely horrible waiter!
This is one of our favorite celebration restaurants. This visit on a Sunday evening was disappointing. Service was below what we have become accustomed to from this restaurant and I hope it was only a bad night.
Half of our party arrived a little late, so they were never given menus - we had to share.
Food took a long time to arrive between courses.
I ordered the soft shell crab special, but I was only brought half of my dinner with everyone else's meal and promised the other half later. It arrived much later after everyone else had finished their meals.
The service was impeccable. The food was fantastic. I had oysters that were fresh and delicious. My husband had the Texas redfish, also amazing. Definitely a special occasion place.
Food and service was excellent
Jose was an exemplary server. Yellow tail sashimi was deeeelicious.
It was amazing!! We were celebrating our 45th anniversary, they had rose petals on our table, gave us a card made our evening very special. We will go back again❤️
This has become our restaurant of choice for special occasions because of the attention to details, outstanding service and scrumptious meals. Each lady visiting during Mother's Day was presented with a single red rose upon her departure.
This is a wonderful restaurant to celebrate any special occasion. We spent Mother’s Day there and had a fabulous time with family and friends. We will be back!
What a wonderful experience. Absolutely perfect experience. The whole staff was attentive to our every need. The food was superb. For a really superb experience ask for Abigail. She is a true professional!
Excellent atmosphere. Manager visited each table. Great variety of food on the brunch menu.
Everything was fantastic! Great food, great service. Highly recommend
Fantastic Mother's Day Brunch experience. Four course meal for $50. Citrus glazed cinnamon roll, lump crab baked avocado, lobster quiche with fuji salad and berries with cookies and ice cream. My mom and I loved it and our waiter, Greg, was as good as it gets. Highly recommend.
We love this fine dining establishment went there for mother's day brunch everything was absolutely exquisite and the service is 5 star.
Very expensive for the quality of food. I had a reservation and still waited over 1/2 hour to be seated. Not a fantastic experience.
My 1st visit...and it was some of the best food I've had in years....I definitely recommend, but bring ur A game on the price...not for the cheap eater's..
Always amazing food! A great place to celebrate any occasion. We will definitely return again
Great place to do business and impress your clients with a great meal and service
The service was OUTSTANDING - friendly but low-key and professional. I really took notice of how attentive, but unobtrusive they were.
The food was delicious! All 6 of us had seafood, my Texas redfish was delicious, my husband raved about the scallops. The Chilean seabass and the shrimp oreganata were fabulous.
We shared sashimi appetizer which was magnificent!
Always excellent service and food never disappoints. Would recommend to anybody wanting a good seafood/fish dinner. Deserts are to die for.
They were having some sort of international women’s meeting on patio. It was pretty noisy. Other than that very good.
We went to celebrate my Girlfriends Birthday and the staff treated us like royalty! The food was excellent as well
Lauren was a sweet, quiet, patient waitress with excellent recommendations. Wonderful ambiance and great place to catch up with friends without feeling rushed out the door.
This was our fifth or sixth visit to Eddie V's. The atmosphere was typical for the most part, except for the drunk bride being very loud a few tables away from ours. The service was a bit slow but our server was quite busy, perhaps one too many tables seated at the same time. What could have been a three drink dinner became only two. The heirloom tomato salad was anemic for $15, only three slices of tomato with a small ball of fresh mozzarella. I probably won't order that again since other premium restaurants in the area serve nearly a whole tomato with lots of cheese for less cash. The Norwegian salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty. And the au gratin potatoes were amazing as always. No dessert this time, maybe next when apple cobbler is back in season.
From once entering the restaurant we were treated like royalty! Our waiter Rae was amazing and never once did we need to call on her for anything. The food was amazing and the overall experience was one for the record books.
Wonderful place to dine and celebrate my anniversary. Great food! Great atmosphere!
I booked a reservation to surprise my girlfriend because she had been talking about scallops for over 2 weeks, i had also recently seen a few of my friends on Facebook had visited and had a great experience. We were seated promptly and Sean our waiter was very prompt and respectful. We ordered an appetizer, and soon after our main course. after waiting almost 30 minutes we were informed that there were no scallops, my girlfriend was so sad because shes been talking about scallops for almost 2 weeks and thats all she wanted. After looking over the menu she decided to settle for the kingbass (which was alot more expensive), and she did not like it one bit. All together we were just disappointed. Sean and Brain (one of the managers) did try to make things better but at the end of the day it just didnt make up for the let down of not having the one thing she wanted most.
My husbands birthday
Great! Would go anytime! Food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
It’s an expensive restaurant with good food! The place is nicely , very modern decorated and the service is very good.
First date night in a while and well worth it. Food was excellent service was great.
We always have an amazing time and delicious dishes at Eddie Vs Wildfish. Thank you for making our special evening even more special and memorable!
Wonderful dining experience! We brought friends who had never been there before and they said it was the best restaurant they have been to in San Antonio!
Eddie V's is always a great place to enjoy dinner with my wife or with a group of friends. Food and service are always outstanding and they always seem to be at or near capacity. Honestly the only downside to EV's is that you need to get there early or make a reservation.
We’ve dined at Eddie V’s several times now because the food is always excellent. Always cooked to perfection, fresh, and delicious. The wait staff checks on you often and that includes staff from other stations as they work as a team. Always an wonderful dining experience at Eddie V’s.
The best service you will find anywhere! Highly recommend requesting Tony. He made it a perfect evening.
Tony was an outstanding waiter!!
