Celebrating our anniversary, nothing special done by Eddies V’s Capital Grill does a great job making you feel special. Had 7:45 reservation not ready no big deal found 1 chair open at the bar so we claimed it, next to impossible to get. Drink ordered when we finally did very arrogant gentleman provided us 1 never did come back to ck in if another was needed, which we did need as we were still at bar for 45 minutes, we were continued to be asked our name by hostess rounded the bar finally my husband asked the next girl which she returned and said had 1 more ahead of us. Which honestly wouldn’t of been a big deal if the arrogant men tended bar would of helped my husband or I out. They seemed to have there favorites and didn’t care about us or a few others that were around us. Finally inquiring as to how he were on the list we were told we had been overlooked. Ugh not to be treated great by hostess or bartender it has to get better. After finally be seating the service somewhat improved but I felt the the waiter had to many tables and as we were a party of 2 so so service. Probably won’t go back there are many other fine restaurants that I am sure would appreciate our business.
Eddie V's is one of my favorite restaurants and the one in Troy, MI does not disappoint!
Great food great atmosphere!!! Definitely would recommend Eddie V’s to my friends and family ! 👍🏾👍🏾
Amazing place. Modern and clean. Our server Ashley was amazing and made our experience even better. My wife has the halibut and loved it. I had the sirloin Oscar and was also perfect. Savage blonde oysters were fresh and delicious. Spinach was also great. Good bottle of Caymus petite Syrah at $70 was a great value we thought. Don’t expect to pay less than $200 if you go here but we though it was worth a splurge night. Go on the restaurant side if you want to talk. The bar side has nice jazz but a little loud
I celebrated my birthday at Eddie V's and had a wonderful time. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. All the extra touches like the personalized birthday card, table decorations and dessert really helped to make my day special. I don't write review often, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew what a great experience you'll have if you dine with Eddie V's.
Awesome experience! Kyle the waiter was Great!
Great food, pricey but we'll worth it for a special occasion
Stunning atmosphere with delicious food and very gracious service.
Food was delicious. Service was spectacular.
Service and food was great will go back again
Our waiter was excellent; incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. We will definitely be back in the future. Was a great place to spend our anniversary!!!
It was my first time there the atmosphere was nice the food was Expensive and portions were small wait time with a reservation was super long. To me it’s actually overrated
The tables in the main dining room were too close together. I was 18 inches from the person at the next table and almost felt like I was part of his party. I was bumped more than once by people passing by the table I was sitting at.
Lydia was great and the lobster tacos were excellent! Crab cake wasn’t bad either, and by that I mean it was DELICIOUS!
Enjoyed the food, music overall very good experience!
We absolutely love Eddie V's! The food is high quality, and always prepared perfectly. We are always greeted and welcomed back. Everyone, from the Hostess, Waitstaff, and Managers greet us warmly, and make sure that we are well taken care of, and our food is prepared to our liking. When we go to Eddie V's we have delicious food, and leave feeling wonderful! Thank you for all that you do!
This is fine dining. It was excellent service the food was delicious and the ambiance is just right.
Everything was good except the atmosphere. The table next to us had a large group and behaved poorly plus the were not dressed appropriately. They were wearing jeans, T shirts, boobs hanging out their clothes, backward hats. In addition to that some eat with their hands. I feel you owe us a rain check.
What's not to love about a restaurant that exceeds all expectations . . . every visit.
The wait staff is well-trained and know everything about the menu and wine list.
The kitchen team delivers what you requested, when you want it.
The management always stops by to ensure everything is perfect.
The first and last person we see is the parking valet. He always greets us and holds the entry door open. When we leave, our car is right at the entrance and ready to go.
Try Eddie V's once, and you too will be a frequent guest.
Reservation was at 6, got there about 5:40, we had to stand at the front area for about 15 minute before we got seated, I have a bad leg no where to seat or no one offered any seats, the young lady’s where talking among them self about someone not showing up, to me this was disappointing, they should have offered the bar area to sit, and take care of us my husband and I ASAP, overall the experience was nice
I love everything about it. Second time coming and will be returning
If I’m paying for premium fish I would hope that it would be cooked right and the portion would be decent. Also our service was slow.
Our server ASHLEY was EXCELLENT!
This was our second visit to the Eddie V's and we won't go back. After waiting over a half hour over our reservation time, we were finally seated. Then the wait began for our waiter, 15 minutes later we were finally attended to and acknowledged. Definitely NOT what you would expect at a nice higher end restaurant. It wasn't the waiters fault, they seemed to be extremely understaffed for the amount of tables. It was a very frustrating experience, the food took way too long between courses and the noise level was extremely high.
Amazing staff, fantastic atmosphere and great food! Loved meeting the new Managing Partner Trisha...
Nice experience, good food. Very expensive. Couldn't afford to do very often.
I would recommend for a special occasion only. Pricey.
Everything was good with the exception of one of the hostess she was really RUDE to me and my guest because everyone wasn’t there at once BUT MY WAITRESS MELISSA was awesome! Thank you for making my experience great because of you Melissa I will be back
We enjoyed Happy Hour and dinner in the lounge - great food, service and ambiance!
The Big Eddie is AMAZING. The poke has an unexpected curry flavor that I loved! Truly PRIME seafood away from the coast. Service was phenomenal. Mango mule was light and perfect accompaniment to seafood. Godiva chocolate cake was the cherry on top of a magnificent dinner!
It was a fantastic dinner. From the lobster bisque and corn and crab chowder to the sea bass, swordfish and lobster tails it was all wonderful. We also had cheddar potatoes, spinach and mushrooms with snap peas. Every bite was fantastic!
Everything was great except whoever packed my carryout containers spilled half of my crab fried rice in the bag and throw my banana Fosters dessert in the box like it was trash. None of my lids on my to-go containers were on tight. I should know something was wrong when the waiter brought the to-go bag to the table it had food grease stains on it.
The food is spectacular. Seafood prepared with care and precision. Best sea bass I ever had. Cocktails are creative and tasty. Great meal. Great place. Beautifully decorated. A bit loud.
Food was wonderful. Service was very slow and our server was not attentive.
Amazing staff! The ambiance was soft and romantic. My Salmon was dry but was quickly replaced by a more desirable piece upon my request, of course. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Jon was our server and was exquisite, along with his sidekick Moe
Our waitress was busy but would be with us shortly. No one gave us the Restaurant week menu. We had to request it like it was a secret. Our waitress was friendly and I really don’t blame her for the disaster of an evening. Service was slow. The server poured hot soup on my husbands shirt, legs and groin as well. He had to go to the men’s room and clean up. We did not have steak knives to cut our filets. The bus boy filled my ice tea up with water. Our waitress gave us some burn cream which was nice of her. Eventually the manager came over and asked if he was okay and then told us we could make out a report as they have insurance for this. He should have stepped in and offering to take care of the meal and perhaps giving us a coupon to return another evening to give them a second chance. Our waitress said she personally took care of the bill. The manager should have. I did not enjoy my meal and the added attention it brought was embarrassing to both of us. We were going to go out after dinner, but we had to go home as the chowder left a creamy residue on his shirt and pants. I might expect this to happen at a 2 star restaurant but not a 5 star restaurant. I took my husbands shirt and trousers to the cleaners.
Excellent service. The SeaBass was the best
The bone in Ribeye is the best in this area.
My dining experience at Eddie V's was spectacular! My party really had a good time!!
It was my bday
