The service was very slow…too long of a delay between meal courses. It was an hour and 25 minutes before we received our salad! The trio sampler of filets was great. Someone in our party got the Wagu steak and they were disappointed. The crab cake was very good. Didn’t care for the crab fried rice. The truffle Mac & Cheese was subpar. The green beans were just green beans. The one we’ve eaten at in Austin was definitely better in our opinion.

Pretty good experience overall. Bar service was slow even at the bar. I think there may have been a new person but could definitely been better. Food was pretty good. Scallops were a little bland. Steak was very good. Service was fine.

Overall the experience was okay, waitress wasn’t very attentive. I ordered my ribeye steak medium and it came out medium rare. Waitress took awhile to come back and check on us so I just ate it. For $66 they should do better with getting the steak right. Had the smoked old fashioned and that was probably the best thing I had. My girl liked her scallops and the sides.

Eddie V's is our new go- to place after our visit there for my wife's birthday. We used to have another special go-to restaurant that was 5 star but they lost their lease and closed down and we've been looking for something comparable up until now. From the moment we stepped inside until we left, we were treated like royalty. Our waiter was on point with everything and the food was delicious. We will be back.

Excellent service. I put on our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, and we were so pleased to show up to find they had decorated the table with a rose, some confetti, and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. The food was excellent too. Definitely try the South African lobster tail. It was amazing!

Always reliable. Good bar, live entertainment and barmen. Kitchen does a solid job, but there is a noticeable difference in the crab cakes. If they are not hard-sauteed texture is very crumbly and unappealing. Beef, fish and lobster were good, as was burrito salad. Good service from beginning to end, thanks Alicia

We always have great service at Eddie V’s. Ashley is an awesome server. The building lost electrical power before our main course arrived. We order the filet with lobster. The filet was a little tuff to eat. Maybe because of the power outage. Otherwise everything else was perfect. We will be back.

Everything was wonderful … one mistake on a main course was more than taken care of. The calamari was the best ever and plentiful! The lamb chops were super and the sea bass excellent. Birthday desert and champagne were on the house. Management went all out to show they care. Only complaint was $20 for casamigos drinks. Sorry, that’s just absurd.

Came to the new one on 121. And actually the best steak I have had in dallas in a long time. The top steak houses have not been great. This steak was flavorful. Well cooked and delicious. The Mac and cheese is decadent. The heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad was perfect. You can’t go wrong with their steaks. I highly recommend.

Wonderful evening for my husbands bday. Everything was great and our waiter was top notch…would love to frequent more but can’t justify $400 bill for (2 adults and 1 child) dinner. Food was pretty good, cocktails were even better! This place is for very special occasions!

My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary last night at Eddie V's, and had a great experience. We've been fortunate enough to enjoy seafood in exceptional restaurants all over the world, and Eddie V's easily ranks among them. Unusual for the Dallas area (or any big city away from the coast), is their raw oyster selection; they had Blue Pointe, my personal favorites, among five enticing choices. We shared the top tower, a divine assortment of oysters, king crab, shrimp, tuna poke, and Maine lobster. We had the Truffle Mac and Cheese as one of our sides, which was one of the best I've ever tasted. Preparation and presentation on point. The restaurant's ambiance added to the overall experience, creating a perfect backdrop for our special celebration. Eddie V's also made our anniversary even more memorable by acknowledging it in a special way, which we truly appreciated. Our server, Alicia, deserves special mention. Her attentiveness made us feel like her sole priority without ever becoming intrusive. We couldn't have asked for better service. In summary, we highly recommend Eddie V's for an exceptional seafood experience. We'll definitely be returning.

Fabulous food, presentation, and service. Brian was a professional server in every way; friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. Even the woman who greeted and bid us farewell at the entrance was personable, warm and friendly. Our anniversary dinner couldn’t have been better.

First visit to the Plano Eddie V's. I tried many times and found no reservations. The restaurant was nice. The service was very good. The food was good, overall. I have eaten at Eddie V's all over and expected better. I'm there for the food. The shrimp cocktail was great. The lobster bisque and warm goat cheese salad were OK. The filet and the Wagyu NY strip with South African lobster tail were good. Nowhere close to what I expected for a $100 Wagyu steak. The lobster mashed potatoes and sweet corn dishes were very good. The Bananas Foster Butter Cake was very good.

Our waiter could of been more attentive. There were long gaps of time we did not see him. Waited awhile for another cocktail. We noticed all the other tables having their waiter always around checking if they needed anything.

first time to eddie v in frisco. its not a warm place. perhaps, it being empty was the reason. peter was a great waiter. efficient ,professional and good. the caesar salads were runny. the dressing was watery. not really good. the steak i ordered charred outside, medium rare inside. it came,charred on the outside and rare and cold on the inside. it must haver been a bad night.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Eddie V’s. From the time we walked in, to the time we left all of our needs were met. Our server Tim went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner the best. The hostess took photos for us. The whole experience was amazing. Highly recommend!!

I expect a lot from Eddie V’s and usually have a great meal. Last night steak wasn’t done as requested and sea bass was slightly “off”. Overall dinner was OK, not great.

Very nice upscale steak and seafood place. Our particular server was out of sync so we downgraded for that reason. Other tables seemed to be doing fine. Our food was excellent and while steak is usually good at such restaurants it was well prepared and very enjoyable. We will go again.

Celebrated our anniversary dinner here. They decorated our table, put us in the back room that felt very private and much quieter than the rest of the restaurant and paid great attention to detail. The drinks and food were excellent. We ended up going pretty early on a Saturday night to miss the rush and I would highly recommend doing so if you would like more attention and a bit quieter. It was packed and bustling when we left. Loved the food and the service!

Really enjoyed spending my wife’s birthday there. Happy birthday card on the table was a special accent that I thought was really great. The seafood tower completely presented itself and was very tasteful. The Seabass was really good. The banana foster for dessert was outstanding with flames, and plate illuminating with flames spelling out Happy birthday to my wife was outstanding. Really enjoyed this experience. We will be back again sometime.
