Mathew was amazing! Best server ever!
Food was absolutely incredible, prepared perfectly. It is pricey, but definitely a place to visit again.
This was an off night for a restaurant we usually can’t say enough good things about! My steak was entered incorrectly into their computer so I had to sit and wait and watch everyone at our table eat while they cooked me a new steak! The sides were terrible... the au gratin potatoes were hard as a rock and the Brussels sprouts were inedible they were so hard! And the DID NOT comp my steak after all that which I feel is terrible customer service! So disappointed!!
Food and service was as usual fantastic. This is our go to spot for special occasions and they always come through with an excellent experience.
We celebrated a birthday and it was perfect! Thanks
I LOVED Eddie V's! The food, drinks and atmosphere were wonderful! The lobster tartare was outstanding, my halibut was perfectly cooked and I highly recommend it. My friend tried the lobster tacos and raved about them. We also tried the bananas foster dessert and continued to be wowed. Our waiter, Adam Polk, was so very pleasant and professional! Fantastic experience! I wish I lived in Kansas City because Eddie V's would be my go to place for special events and romantic evenings.
Wondeful food. Server was attentive early in meal and very knowledgeable regarding the food....but then he lost us when an 8 person party came in. Did not see his back up person either. Really drug out end of meal and diminished overall. But still would recommend
Excellent restaurant, great food and service. Highly recommend!!
Second time to dine there in 2 months. Both times the food was excellent. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Great in all aspects
We were celebrating two birthdays. The food was great and service grand. The prices are high and everything is ala carte.
Food was outstanding . Waitress was awesome. Service was on point.
Our server was amazing!
We went here for a date night. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was cute. Our service was great, but a little on the hasty side. It seemed like there was always a waiter or someone over our shoulder every time we did anything. However, I suppose over-attentiveness is better than lack of. Overall, excellent spot for a special night out.
Service and food are consistently excellent. Nice combo in the bar.
Great service. This will become our favorite way to celebrate our anniversary and other special occasions. We will also be taking friends and family
Our 2nd visit to this restaurant.
Food (one of us had ahi; the other had Chilean sea bass) was excellent.
Our server was also excellent (Jade), who, as a sommelier, was very helpful regarding our wine selection. Also, the manager stopped to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.
If Eddie V’s wasn’t so darned expensive, we’d dine there more often.
Went for our anniversary dinner. My wife and I agreed, it was the best meal we’ve ever eaten.
The food came out extremely slow, long periods of time between each course. Steak was overcooked, sides were not great and wine mark up is even more rediculous then most places (I expect mark up but 30-40% higher then comparable places. I was very disappointed I was excited to eat here after visiting the San Diego establishment. The valet guys were a pure joke.
My experience was tremendous, I enjoyed every minute of it.
Great experience. Celebrated our 15 yr Anniversary!! Had an amazing evening. Thank you.
Best meal we’ve had in years. Excellent food, wine suggestion was awesome.
Best meal we have ever had in KC. Expensive but worth it.
Awesome service and presentation was fantastic and equally delicious
My mother and I had a great time celebrating my cousin's birthday here. I messed up the first time and did not make reservations on the right day and felt bad for not getting the notification about it to change it until it was too late. Luckily I still got a reservation Easter evening the night before and we were able to come in early because of the snow showers earlier that day left the restaurant pretty empty except five parties already seated when we got there. The restaurant was lovely and the food was good. We enjoyed out alcoholic drinks as we talked about our lives and being thankful for our health and our family among other topics while the lovely jazz band played. The only thing that was lagging was customer service from our waitress despite the fact that we were her only table for an hour until other customers showed up which is why a 15% tip was only given. Overall this was a good experience for everyone-especially me since it was my first time eating at any Eddie V's restaurant. Thank you. :)
Went here for Easter brunch. Meal started with delicious orange zest cinn rolls that came right away. the 3 course meal was very fun. Felt French. The steak and egg were very good, but the omelet could have used a little something more for the price. Desserts were outstanding.
We had the best waitress. She was so kind and helpful. Thank You!
Tonight was my first visit to Eddie V’s. I must say it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. This was a great choice to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary!
Our waiter was good but it was super busy so things didn’t go smoothly. Drinks took forever to arrive and once it was forgotten completely. It was so incredibly loud that we had difficulty conversing with one another the entire evening. But the food was a plus!
Great job. Excellent service. Ambiance was perfect.
Great service and great Food. One of the best meals I’ve had in KC.
Best dining experience in the city. Period.
We went here for my birthday. The server was attentive and had accurate descriptions of the entrees we ordered. We ordered Crab cake as our appetizer which we really liked and comes with one. My husband ordered the halibut which was mildly sweet, and my mother ordered sea bass, which was melt in your mouth good. I enjoyed the shrimp which were colossal and came with at least eight or more pieces. It took a while for our entree to be delivered at our table. The appetizer came out quick. We had also ordered a side of crab fried rice which took even longer to be delivered. By the time we were done with our entrees we were full. The crab fried rice was very buttery so we sent it back. That took a while because no one checked on us while were eating our entrees or side. Once we told the manager and had a new side made, we found it to be too salty to even taste the rice. Thankfully they took it off our bill. Their banana cake dessert was tasty and plenty to share between the three of us.
Always great service and great food and there is enough room between tables to have a quiet conversation. Having been disappointed in 7-8 visits.
We have been here four times in the last two years and the previous three times we had a very good experience. This time, it did not live up to our expectations which was too bad as we were hosting friends who had never been there. I don't think I will return because for the high price and atmosphere, the other patrons and the service disappointed us.
Eddie V's is a first class restaurant. Service, creativeness and quality of the meal, and ambiance were top notch. I can't think of anything that they need to do better.
Great food and service.
Great food and service
