   Jeff H and his team consistently deliver amazing serivce to customer on each visit. The attention to detail is a breath of fresh air. Our server, Bruno, performed well during the evening rush. The steaks are some of the best premier in Kansas City. The wine list has something for everyones palate. Eddie V's continues to be a favorite.

    Goodness. Eddie V’s has fallen on hard times. This was our first return trip since COVID. Mother’s Day dinner. The good: The restaurant is still lovely. Our waiter was superb. The bad: Where to start? On Mother’s Day, the restaurant was completely out of many of its popular dishes. Unfortunately, the limited menu did not hasten food preparation. We waited nearly two hours for our meal. No alcohol. 1 tea. 3 waters. 1 appetizer. 1 salad. 2 steaks. 1 shrimp dish. 1 ahi dish. 3 simple sides. Two hours. Our fabulous waiter was near apoplectic over the delay. Bless him. He’s the only reason we didn’t walk out. We did tease him about ordering Door Dash. But seriously, this was unacceptable. We were patient. We were understanding. But we won’t go back.

    Willing to give it another shot as I hope many of the issues were mostly symptoms of a busy weekend. Several dishes were off the menu or unavailable. The filet had absolutely no seasoning, but was cooked perfectly. Similarly, the Chilean sea bass had little to no flavor. My guess is food was being rushed through the kitchen. Expectations for a restaurant and experience at this level are much higher than average. Unfortunately they were not met this time.

    Went for MD and had the brunch prefix menu everyone enjoyed themselves and we got sat in the private room off the bar so the noise level was way lower than the rest of the busy restaurant.

    Mother’s Day Brunch today… Service was good, which is why this is isn’t an abominable review. But the food was really mediocre. They served warm cinnamon rolls to start and were literally RAW. I’m cool with a borderline-done roll, but these things were dough. My crab/avocado dish didn’t taste fresh and was really plain tasting. Pretty disappointed. We got subpar food and paid a bunch for it. Wish we’d have gone somewhere else.

    Our server, Kaz, did well to keep up with our group of water drinkers outside on the patio. Food was delicious, but everything was EXTREMELY SLOW. We had my 16-month old grandson with us and indicated an hour after ordering that we were ready to eat and all were getting antsy. The waiter said they had a couple of other large groups. At any rate, don't know if our order didn't get turned in quickly or if the kitchen was struggling that night, but bread, appetizers, food, etc, etc......just took too long for our little family.

    If you are going to KC this is definitely a must do restaurant. My husband and I were celebrating my birthday and I felt so pampered from beginning to end. They valet your car for you, seated us at a beautiful table with rose petals adorning the edge of the table, when staff members passed our table they treated me with a “happy Birthday”, the chef sent a complimentary appetizer which was delicious, the meal was excellent, and to top everything They served a complimentary flaming dessert with “happy birthday” written in chocolate on the plate.     Dinner here was great as usual.. Never had a bad experience at Eddie V’s.. the secret off the menu truffle fries are awesome! Truffle Mac, lobster mash and crab fried rice was delicious per usual.

    We had a lovely dinner here. The ambience is perfect. Tables are spaced nicely, the lighting was perfect as is the subtle decor. Bar area was busy and people were happy. The live music was a treat! Everyone from the hostess to the main and secondary servers were friendly. I didn’t take many pictures due to just enjoying my time and dinner. I highly recommend dinner and drinks at Eddie V’s. It was just a lovely experience and the food was delicious!

    Amazing food and amazing service. Stared at the bar with great drinks then moved to the dining space for dinner and dessert. We shared the 8oz filet, South African lobster, potato’s and asparagus, the. Finished with bananas foster. We can’t wait to return.

    Tops in fine dining! Excellent Bourbon and wine selection. Impeccable service from Dustin and jazz music in the back at the perfect volume to allow for conversation. Filet, asparagus and scalloped potatoes are the perfect combination finishing with a Blanton’s neat. Not a disappointment and will return next business trip!

    Beautiful ambiance. Nice quiet dining experience with some light live music drifting over from the lounge area was quite the touch. Erica was an absolutely amazing server. The food and drinks were top notch.
