My husband and I do like to go to high end restaurants on occasion, and this has to be by far the best dining experience we have ever had. Everything from being greeted at the door, the food, the amazing service we received from Christina, everything was top notch.
Excellent meal and service at Eddy V’s. Our waitress Lauren and hostess Stacy were fabulous! They were very friendly and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our meals and time there. The food was great and highly recommend they put the arancini balls on as an appetizer !
Excellent food drinks and service, definitely will be back, wonderful place for a special occasion!
Thank you Kaitlyn. You were phenomenal till the end! (:
My Fiancé and I enjoyed our dinner and your service. The Hope Diamond drink was creative and tasteful.
Loved the food, ambience, and drinks.
Food was amazing and the outdoor seating made it so we had the patio to ourselves. Food arrived and stayed warm. The propane heaters definitely helped but it was a comfortable night.
My boyfriend and I had one of the best meals we had in a long time. Our server Bryan was fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable & made our experience very special. Both he and the manager Stacy went above and beyond for us bringing out complimentary appetizers & and a dessert to cap off the evening. Do yourself a favor and get the lobster tacos appetizer you will not be disappointed! The South African lobster was to die for and the filet mignon special was spot on! The portions here are perfect and you definitely get what you pay for. As a former server & bartender I find very few places will leave me speechless, but Eddie V’s knocked it out of the park for us. Thanks for making us feel so welcome Eddie V’s we will 100% be back!
First time at Burlington location and disappointed. Food and service was good until
I just wanna start by saying I usually do not give terrible reviews for this restaurant I’ve been here many times and never had this kind of experience before. First off our waitress was very unaccommodating and it’s not friendly at all. There were three of us dining out that night and we all decided we were going to get the salmon so we put those orders in along with some appetizers one of the appetizers being half dozen oysters. Then my son decided to change his mind about his meal and we got her attention and switched his salmon to see bass.. Our appetizers arrived and a little while after that I look over at my son who is eating an oyster and his face literally looked green and I said what’s wrong and he said something smells really bad and it was the oyster. We got a bad oyster in the bunch and had already eaten four out of the six oysters so obviously after that didn’t touch the remaining two. The oyster was black and smelled like low tide I can’t even believe they put that in front of us. So when she finally came over to check on us I told her about the oysters and I said they’re bad we can’t eat those so she just took them away didn’t apologize or say anything whatsoever about the oysters. And we got our meals which I have to say were lacking in presentation and taste that night (I usually I do get a good meal here) I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen. So finally after waiting forever she brings our check and my husband notices she charged us for 3 SalmonsSalmon dishes and the seas bass as well as the oysters. I can’t even believe she had the nerve to charge us for those oysters we could’ve gotten very sick if we had eaten that bad oyster. So she comes over to take the payment and we tell her that she charged us for an extra salmon dish and I said to her I don’t think we should’ve been charged for those oysters she just looked at me and said I’ll go check on that. So she finally comes back after leaving us sitting there for about 15 minutes
It was a fantastic night. Drinks and desserts were amazing. Entrees we all had seafood and was also cooked to perfection
Probably one of my best overall dining experiences. From the manager,
Would go back again food was very good service also
Great food, great service, great ambiance. This isn’t five star, it ten!!
This was our first visit to Eddie V's and on this occasion it was for our wedding anniversary. For anyone familiar with the Burlington, MA area, the location of this restaurant is where the Macaroni Grill used to be. It looks like they demolished the old building though because this one looked brand new (it opened in 2019 apparently) and looks amazing.
The interior of the restaurant is really, really nice. There is a glass walled wine room directly behind the check-in area and it's visible from everywhere in the restaurant. The kitchen is located toward the back part of the restaurant behind a long glass wall. Everything looked nice and clean.
Service was amazing. Our server James -- we got his card -- was delightful, knowledgeable, and struck us as the type of person who enjoys providing guests with a memorable experience. We will request James the next time we visit.
We started out with cocktails. My wife picked the house speciality cocktail "The Hope Diamond' and I picked a vodka martini with dry vermouth, stirred, with blue cheese stuffed olives. Were I not driving I would have ordered a second. Excellently prepared.
The restaurant has an extensive wine list.
The food was great too. Oysters to start for me and yellowtail sashimi for my wife. Along with a caesar salad, my wife ordered the wild salmon and I had the parmesan sole. Both were excellent but if you're looking for something you don't always find on a menu, go with the parmesan sole. It was excellent.
Save room for dessert and make sure at least one person at the table orders the Bananas Foster Butter Cake. My wife and I resorted to sword fighting with our forks to ensure an even 50/50 split. Next time we will order one each.
There are few restaurants that check all the boxes that lead to a memorable night and Eddie V's is high on my list. We look forward to our next visit.
Remember to ask James to be your server.
Great waiter and food was delicious. My boys thought their steaks were the best they’ve had in a long time.
This was our first visit. We had passed by the restaurant many times and were intrigued by another fine dining restaurant specializing in seafood. We sat outside which was nice; ample spacing between tables. There were heaters present but not on.
We ordered half dozen of both east and west coast oysters. We were very familiar with Blue Point oysters but not familiar with the west coast variety. They were not shucked well with lots of shell present mixed in with the meat. Some were torn. They didn’t appear appetizing. My wife ate one of the west coast but didn’t like how they smelled; typically sweet and fresh smelling, they were more like a slightly stale brine. The east coasters were ok. The mignonette was heavy on black pepper.
Before we were done with the oysters, our server informed us to make room because the entrees were coming. There was a sense of being rushed. My wife got scallops which were tough and overcooked. They were sent back and the second batch were only slightly better. A couple were perfect but overall still not what we expected. The sauce was very delicate and paired nicely with the well cooked scallops. The portion size was good; maybe 8 medium sized scallops.
I got the Chilean sea bass which was a nice sized piece of fish that was well cooked. The sauce was fine; like a pool of light soy sauce with some pickled ginger. Not impressed for $48. I would have been very happy for, say, $32.
Crab fried rice side dish was the best food we got. Plenty of crab, well seasoned. A nice accompanying plate for the meal.
It was a very ehh experience. It should be listed as $$$$ by OT. The food quality was not at the level that the bill would have suggested. We won’t be going back.
Great place. Awsome service.
My husband and I wanted to celebrate a socially distant anniversary. It was our first trip to a restaurant since the epidemic started. Not every restaurant does a nice job making diners feel comfortable, and sometimes tables are either too close together or too near busy walkways... but we were really happy with our experience overall.
Eddie V's outside dining has you in the old valet circle which feels really nice and not so much like you're sitting in a parking lot. Still, the space could be livened up with some piped in music. Looks like there's space out there for a socially distance band which would be amazing. Sadly, there was only one space heater and the rest of us diners were chilly. Hopefully they'll invest in a few more or maybe a tent as the weather grows colder.
Outstanding food and service.
Thanks for going above and beyond to make my parents wedding anniversary as awesome as it was! It was everything I would have hoped for.
We loved our waiter, Mark Kelleher - he was wonderful and when we go back will ask for him again
The only thing that bothered us was the loud music - somehow I don't think it goes with your beautiful restaurant - you want to relax and enjoy the the music at times bothered us.
We had a very quiet dinner at Eddie Vs. There were no other diners in the indoor space.
The service was good and our food (salads, filet and sole) were well cooked and presented beautifully.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Overall experience was excellent! Our waiter, James was very friendly and attentive and service was prompt.
Excellent! Yummy and superior service!
The food was good, service was excellent! Beautiful restaurant
Great meal always. Not cheap but worth it for a special occasion
Always have a great meal at Eddie V’s in the staff is amazing
Great spot to celebrate or just have a date night!
Celebrate our daughters college grades!
Had delicious apps and margaritas at a high top near the bar. Loved it!
Over $330 for four so not cheap but good
The outdoor tables were placed incredibly far apart and made for a wonderful and safe feel. The food was incredible apart from the scallops, but they rectified that by comping dessert. The bananas foster was to die for!
My friends and I went this week for outdoor dining and Christina was our server. She really made our experience that much "extra"! She was so fun and attentive and provided great recommendations! Our hats off to the chef because we had some of the best food in a long time! And that truffle mac and cheese............ there are no words, I could eat it every day! I highly recommend it here :)
Our waiter was amazing food was great drink were refreshing
It was Saturday and we were seated inside. I was on a date with my wife.
The food was to live for with Salmon dish and the macaroni truffle and the the potato gratin ( on the running side) as side dishes.
The drink, the food and the ambiance were all fabulous.
I definitely recommend this place.
Yummy! Just all around great ambiance and excellent food. Not to mention amazing drinks too!
Went there for restaurant week for the first time already planning to go back soon!
Our Waiter Jim Flynn was so professional and did an amazing job!
