   The surf and turf special (tomahawk and 2 lobsters) were amazing. Not only did it taste delicious and cooked to perfection but the price/deal going on for the month was great! Our waiter Greg C did an outstanding job making sure he checked in on the table, cups stayed filled, and explaining the menu to us as it was our first time there. Great atmosphere will be back

   This was an amazing experience, this was my first time dining here (visiting from Maryland). Our server Jason was extremely knowledgeable and professional. When I come back again I definitely be back!

   Being honest this was my worst experience at EM. I come for special occassions and always make reservations well in advance. I booked for 7 (because I had no option to select more through open tabke app) and noted on the reservations "may be up to 10." As a manager, you'd think you'd would plan for 10 and if 7 or 8 show then you take chairs away. I had to wait almost 30mins past my reservation all because 8 showed but 7 was my hard count. 1 additional chair for a place that was no where near capacity. I ordered a expresso martini. May as well had an entire martini glass of botton shelf vodka. Reeked of rubbing alcohol and couldnt drink it even after adding extra cream to dilute it. Chefs dont know internal temperature of steaks to cook to preferred color. Additional salad toppings asked with order brought 20mins later atger salad had finally been ate without. Another plate was extremely over seasoned as if the shaker cap came off and they plated it anyways. The manager came and apologized many times, removed some items and gave the table free dessert. Lack of communication between manager and server as we had to advise what was promised to be removed and comped TWICE. So thats a 20min ordeal. Just all in all a waste kf an experience for my family who was therd to celebrate my graduation (also in my notes). The server had to ask what are we celebrate then said happy birthday and mentions im sorry i was thinking aboyt my birthday next tuesday. Like WTF. What an experience to share with family visiting and this is apart of their memory of Pittsburgh. I shouldve just stayed with Morton's. Never an issue and actually genuinely celebrate whatever is noted without even asking. I hate EM now!

   I took my staff to lunch for Administrative Professionals Week. Lunch took a solid two hours. Several tables near us were seated after us, had their entire meal, and left before we even got our entrees. My steak was overcooked, but at that point, there was no way I was going to send it back and continue to wait. Restaurant was not crowded, so I can’t tell why it took so long.

   The food and service were excellent. The singer Karina and her keyboard accompanist were fantastic!

   Great food and service as always! They were out of the carrot cake and the manager went above and beyond to make up for that oversight. We are regulars for a reason!

   Coffee was cold both times my husband went to the station to get it. Took my husband 20 minutes to get his omelette. The food overall was tasty and fresh but many stations were emptied and not readily replenished. The serving utensils were sloppy, and caked with food, it was necessary to remove item lids each time to scoop food out. Seems the restaurant was not ready for the crowds and management of the crowds was sloppy. Not worth the price. Won’t be back.

   We came for Easter brunch and it was amazing. From the carving stations to the bananas foster it was perfect- and I ate my weight in eggs benedict. Service was impeccable, Bilal was great, he kept drinks full, helps identify allergen friendly items, ran our omelet order…we wanted for nothing. Fantastic way to start the day. Thanks.

    Our first visit to Eddie Merlot's! We were celebrating our Anniversary and every thing about our dinner was wonderful! Tasty oysters on the half shell. Ribeye , Trio of Medallions, truffle fries and King Crab and Corn Bisque were all delicious! Plus a complimenatray Creme Brulee dessert to end our Anniversary celebration was a sweet touch! Our server Cathryn was awesome and very attentive! Thank you!
