We dined on Saturday
The food, service and environment were exceptional as always!
I was a bit disappointed by the burger. I expected a steak house to have a really flavorful burger but it was just average.
Best Steak my wife and I've had. Great atmosphere and wine list was outstanding.
Fun night out celebrating our wedding anniversary. Wait staff was superb. We also received a complimentary desert.
service was good, Burger was dry, calamari was soggy, bone in filet was good, lobster mac was good
Had a birthday dinner with a new partner. Merlot's was very accommodating, gave us a great seat, and the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend.
Veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy gooooooooodddd crab legs so worth the $60
Excellent dining experience. I highly recommend this steakhouse.
Outstanding service! Everything was delicious
Food was just about perfect. Excellent wine selection.
Shrimp was a little over cooked and over seasoned.
Would love to eat here again next time we are in town.
Food was excellent, selection of items is very good, and the service was perfect!
Great service and great meal.
Our server was so very nice to us. The food was perfect. It was my first time here. Definetly not my last.
We came here for our anniversary and the entire experience was amazing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was superb. Definitely a place to try for a special occasion.
Had a wonderful experience. People at the table next to us were kind of loud so we asked to be moved and the staff were very accommodating.
Gordon, our waiter, was great! So knowledgeable and fun! We truly enjoyed our evening ! We will be back!
Celebrated husbands birthday. First time and will go back. Great food and service from Ed was outstanding
I was visiting from Ohio and Eddie Merlot’s was highly recommended. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Chef Larry visited our table which was an unexpected treat. The management staff, especially Tiffany was very attentive while we enjoyed our evening. In a city with many restaurant choices this is a stand out!
Excellent food service and ambiance. Would definitely return in the spring when we are back in Pittsburgh.
This is our go-to establishment for celebrations, and we were there for my wife's birthday. Everything was great, our only complaint was that the service seemed slower than what we are accustomed to.
One of the best Eddie’s experiences we’ve had! Everything was perfect and service was a 10/10! Thank you!
Jordan was a great server. He knew we had a business meeting so he kept his service hands off and let us talk. Never interrupted and even ran out important papers to our client after we left them on the table.
Food was so good especially the filet tips special. Highly recommend, and thank you again Jordan!!!
Excellent meal, excellent service and very nice atmosphere
Very nicely styled interior with a great staff and a solid menu.
Service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Not our first time, definitely won't be our last! The Valentines Day menu was stellar. Bone-in filet was amazing. Only critique - skip the calamari...
We had a great dinner at Eddie Merlot's. The food was delicious and the wait service was phenomenal.
Since we were not overly hungry, we did not order appetizers. Rather, we had beverages and the house bread. The house bread was yummy with a garlic Parmesan topping. My Zinfandel was fantastic (recommended by our waitress) and my husband's Basil Hayden's Manhattan was spot on. For dinner, I ordered the filet (7oz) and my husband ordered the bone-out rib-eye. I ordered my filet medium rare and my husband ordered his rib-eye rare. They both were cooked accordingly. For a side, we decided on the wild mushrooms, which were great! I also ordered a side of a Gorgonzola sauce to have with my meal and boy, it did not disappoint. I think the bread and the Gorgonzola sauce were my two favorite parts of our dinner! Instead of ordering dessert, we each had one more drink and then payed and left.
In general, the food was good! It did not knock-our-socks-off, but it was prepared as requested and tasty. The waitress we had was fantastic! She made our experience a great one. If you visit Pittsburgh's Eddie Merlot's, request Heather!
