Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef & Seafood - Louisville
Great service and food. My daughter enjoyed her birthday party and we all had a great time.
Our first visit to Eddie Merlot’s, and our server, Bonifacio took very good care of us. Both of us had 4oz filet cooked perfectly- Bob’s was topped with crab and I had a side of salmon. Our Caesar Salad was the real deal, served with extra anchovies on the side. Was thrilled that the chef was not shy with garlic or lemon in the homemade dressing. We worked from their three course Pre Fix menu - and shared the strawberry champagne sorbet for dessert and brought the coconut cream pie home for later. A nice finish with French press coffee. Will definitely be back!!
Love the ahi tuna wontons! Service was great, nice wine list, good steaks.
We had a great time. Food and drink was spot on. Thomas our waiter was very professional with a personal touch.
Great food and service. Our waiter was very helpful and answered our questions . Would recommend to anyone .
There was a bug in the food, the waiter told me it was the time of the year. I don’t care if it is or isn’t the time of the year that’s unacceptable. I feel the matter should been taken more serious. The waiter had a nonchalant attitude about it. The quality of the food should’ve been better for the price. I feel I would gotten better food and a better atmosphere from a red lobster, Logan’s etc. I will let ever know you guys are overrated and over priced.
Excellent service and good food.
We have eaten here a few times. Steaks are always awesome. We shared the bone-in cowboy cut ribeye. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Awesome! Sides are always very good. We were slightly disappointed with the seafood tower this time. The dry ice is a bit much. But some guests would love it. Service was timely and personable. We would always recommend Eddie Merlot’s.
The one drawback is noise level in both the main dining room and bar area. We assume it’s an acoustical issue. Whether crowed or not, it’s always a bit noisy.
Our overall experience was excellent. We got there around 5:30 and the service was very prompt. The food was delicious. As was the bananas Foster desert. We told our server in advance that we needed to be on our way to Hamilton the musical no later than 7:30 PM and we were out the door at 7:25 PM. Highly recommended.
Great service and the food was perfect! The grilled romaine was amazing.
The food was Amazing. The Service was outstanding. We will be going back to soon.
Temperature in dining area next to bar was freezing! We were told (twice) their special 3 course promotion had a 7 ounce filet. Then brought us a 4 ounce filet and the waitress apologized for being wrong. The serving was very small. I said I would pay for an added filet. They said it would be no charge but charged me anyway!!
We have had the server before so that was a cool relationship. (He did forget that we ordered the special but that’s ok 😜). Apps were great, bread is the best (DON’T TAKE IT FROM THE TABLE IF IT ISN’T GONE 🤤), my steak was AMAZING. My hubby got the peppercorn encrusted steak which is def for someone who loves to eat pepper (and, mostly, only pepper 🥵). Will be going again and would recommend to anyone. The environment is very dark and quiet and chill. We like all kinds of environments so that was fine with us. All staff was super nice and attentive! Enjoy 😊
My experiences at Eddie Merlot have ALWAYS been excellent. However, this visit I felt rushed by my server and the packaging of my leftovers was unprofessional. This, however, will NOT keep me from returning, I will be back. Thanks!
The food was good, but not the best I've ever had. Service from Grace was great, great overall experience
Ordered Dover Sole Meunière. $60. It came with no sides and the waiter didn’t tell me this so I had none. The fish was paper thin, fried to a crisp, and there wasn’t much of it. The amount of fish to skin was infinitesimal. Was basically fish bacon. I doubt it was even Dover. Sauce was a white crime sauce. That’s not meunière. Wedge salad was good but my tab came to $120. I went back to the hotel and ordered wings at the bar. Truly awful experience. I was seated at the bar because I was only one diner but still...
Sadly my dinner was overcooked which I told the waiter
I did not eat it.....
Nothing was taken.off the bill but food wrapped and given to me
I tipped as usual because felt not up to waiter to do the right thing
Second cocktail brought back in same glass as first cocktail. No anchovies offered with the Ceaser salads.Had to ask for them.
Yes however I would caution them about the potential of getting a server who may perhaps may be a little less than customer service driven.
We’ve had dinner there for several years and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately having a server who is less then polite. . .that encounter tends to overshadow the whole experience.
Our server got our food wrong again and again and again
John K is the BEST waiter at Eddie’s. The food was phenomenal!!
Relaxing, comforting and delicious after a long day... ribeye was flawless.....thank you!
Food was excellent! Room temperature was comfortable. Service was outstanding. Food temperature and seasoning was perfect!
Excellent customer service
One of the best meals I have ever had at restaurant...thank you
We really enjoyed our dining experience at Eddie Merlot's. The service was exemplary and extremely attentive. We loved all the food.
Pleasant surprise, world class !
Great food and wine section.
Excellent wait staff.
Very cool interior layout.
Will be back next time Im in Louisville
Preston was very good. Was a great birthday dinner.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Eddie Merlots did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. The food was phenomenal. I will definitely go again.
The food and service were excellent. The ambiance is great. We love the Art Deco décor.
The food was bland. Side are horrible. Especially, the macaroni. Taste like powdered cheese. Very disappointed.
Great experience with solid well prepared food.
We had an excellent dinner. Always enjoy setting in the lounge area.
This was my first visit and I was very happy with everything. The service was excellent. Our waiter Chris did an excellent job of covering the whole menu as well as what the specials were for the evening. The food was delicious although it is rather expensive. Overall it was a great experience and we will be going back on our special evenings.
Overpriced brunch, can’t speak for ordering off of menu. 4 people was 240.00 for basically eggs, sausage, potatoes, a little ham, lamb, a very little bit of seafood, shrimp scampi, and crab legs. Most of the food trays were empty every time I made a trip. Service was good, just was to pricey for what you get.
I would recommend it but not based on the Mother's Day brunch. The food was not the quality I expected but the service was impeccable as always.
All the people who worker there, were so nice and friendly! The food was very good! A lot of options to choose from!
Steak is excellent, my date and I enjoyed our filet mignon which was prepared to perfection and with great time. Our waiter was very attentive and gave just the right amount of finesse to leave us pleased with our dining experience at Eddie Merlot’s. Thank you!
Our Service was excellent with a perfect mix of 5-star attention and friendliness. However, the food was not quite up to par considering the prices. Although the steaks were very good the shrimp cocktail was a little tough, and the crab legs were also. Side items were uninspired at best. I do like this restaurant but it is not a good value relative to its peers.
The food was fantastic but the service was horrible. Our server, Chris, forgot our salad, forgot our wine refills until 10 minutes after we were done eating, we had to wait forever to get our check and asked another server to get it for us
