Another all-around fantastic experience. Food is excellent and steaks are amazing. We've been to many high end steak places and we just can't figure out how Eddie Merlot's consistently beats all of them in every category. Mind you, there are plenty of other really good restaurants, but Eddie's is always at the top of of our list. Staff is incredible too. Everyone is friendly, yet professional, and know their stuff. Alicia Ennis in particular absolutely ROCKS. You will enjoy the entire experience at Eddie's!
Our service was good. All the food was outstanding with the exception of my Filet. It was very dry which I wasn't to thrilled about.
My wife periodically come 2 Eddie Merlot's 4 the ambiance and 4 the Casual dress 4 a "4 to 5" Star Restaurant. We enjoy Our Server Tim. He's top notch and his assistants John and Rodney r very helpful as well, keeping our water glasses full and removing our soiled dishes after each course. + Occasionally taking that "SPECIAL" pix 4 us when we have a bigger group attending a Birthday Bash! The Volcano Shrimp is awesome! I would like 2 make a suggestion 2 the Corp Chefs? 2 Consider on the Chateau Brion 2 give it POMP and Circumstance by dressing it up a bit. Pipe a ring of Say Mashed tators and a second ring of mashed carrots around it? Serve it on a bigger tray so that the server can FLAME it with a bit of Brandy poured on it and let it cook 4 say 30 seconds more 2 a Minute? There4 bringing it out slightly under what the patron wants the temp at?? It would really Get the Deal going great! I would suggest that tenderloin b like maybe oh I duuno perhaps 30 oz so u could offer a regular or a Grande? I was an Executive chef a long long time ago if u would like 4 me 2 answer questions please email me. Thanks 4 ur time.
Was initiated taken to a table that was dirty, had a number of small hairs on it. Then we were moved. Eddie's chop salad had a New dressing that was significantly different not very good. Server was very good.
The food is the best in town. The steaks are tender and delicious. There are a lot of steak cuts to choose from. A nice sea food menu also.
This evening was spectacular in every way - service (Kim was our server) - was unmatched. Menu suggestions were spot-on. Delicious filet & fine buffalo filet. Strip also great. Salads fresh, soup & sides perfectly prepared. Our first choice for a special meal in Indy.

The service is always timed correctly, food tastes good, quiet and very relaxing atmosphere.
This was our 2nd time eating dinner there, we were not disappointed, the service, the food, the experience was wonderful, we will be back!
Went to celebrate a family birthday. Great service and the rest of the family, first time at Eddie Merlot's, didn't miss an opportunity to say how wonderful their meals were the rest of the weekend.

James was an amazing water and so was his assistant Rodney. I wish all wait taff could be a pleasant as well as entertaining as these two were. We were sad to leave after dinner. Thanks for a great evening.
Easter brunch buffet
Easter brunch.. a bit expensive for the experience
I will start by saying that I use to go to Eddie's every Friday or Saturday night about 4 years ago. I had my 40 birthday party there, and it was so bad I hadn't steeped foot in the place since. We were late making plans for Easter this year and Eddies seemed to have time open. We were very reluctant, but gave it a shot. I will say the place has changed in 4 years. service and food seem to be way better. The buffet for Easter for $54.00 was a bargain. My only complaint was the crab legs were still frozen when they were replenished. Service was great and all the other food was amazing. I think they won me back.
Worst Easter Sunday brunch ever. Would have had a better meal at Golden Corral. Food was cold and picked over, the sauces were empty and not replenish. $50 for and adult was a total ripoff.
Food was pretty good but t was Easter brunch and there were so many people getting food at the brunch that it was hard for the restaurant to keep up with refilling the stations. I thought it would be a little more upscale than it was.
This was Easter Sunday brunch. We’ve had dinner at EM’s before but this was our first holiday visit. When we found out it was a buffet, we almost cancelled, because those can be really uneven when it comes to the freshness of dishes. Our reservations were for 1 pm, so there was reason to be concerned. But in fact, everything was just outstanding. A full complement of breakfast items, plus fresh shellfish, a carving station with ham, beef and lamp chops, and great little desserts. It was fantastic. My only regret was that I couldn’t finish my beef but could not take it home due to rules about buffet food. Thanks for a wonderful Easter meal.
The Easter Brunch at Eddie Merlot's was outstanding! This was the 3rd year in a row that we have been for Easter & we were pleased the 1st time & then disappointed in 2017 but this year was awesome! We were very pleased with the selection of items, oysters on half shell, king crab legs, shrimp all on a bed of ice with an ice sculpture centerpiece! The decision to do a baked egg casserole instead of sloppy plain-jane scrambled eggs was perfect. Several choices of salads alongside cheeses & cold cuts & lox (only missing cream cheese) was great. Several hot dishes, chicken, salmon, pasta, then to top it off, filet & rack of lamb!! I think there was also ham, but I couldn't take my eyes off the rack of lamb. Oh, & the decision to put the buffet in a a more open area was a good fit. Kudos to the Chef & staff at Eddie Merlot's! We were very happy at the end of our meal even though the price did go up, but well worth it.

Having been there many times and enjoying every aspect of our past evenings, the food was just average. The bison was under cooked, the veal was tough and the New Orleans trio wasn’t worth the money. Great service but saddened by the food preparation. Manager did stop by and knew of the undercooked steak but by that time we were more than half way through the meal and we didn’t send it back. No adjustment ... disappointing night!
Great food and service. Some of the best steaks we’ve had. Got the filet. Better than Sullivan’s or Fleming’s.
Went here for my wife's birthday. We were greeted by friendly staff members. They had a card with "Happy Birthday" waiting for my wife on our table. We were delighted to see that several staff members had signed it. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu items. We received our food in a very timely manner and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was pleasant and overall, we truly enjoyed ourselves!
great meal and good service....loved the bone in filet and lobster tail. also the bread for the table was delicious. happy with the experience and would definitely recommend it.
The food is AMAZING! The staff is incredible and for an upscale steakhouse the prices are great. I would definitely recommend Eddie Merlot.

We love EM - platinum members! The reason for the lower rating on this visit was because we went on Friday for the Seafood menu- specials. My partner got pan seared perch & I got fish/ chips (perch) - BAD move. Both meals were almost inedible. Stick with the steaks or burgers - always fantastic!!
Our waiter was newer and a little slow to check on us. When he did, he was quick to get he Manager who was so apologetic & super kind. He removed both meals from our ticket and offered us anything we wanted - great service from the Mgr.
We will be back - just not for the perch 🤢

Server, Alex, was wonderful! Food quality not up to previous experiences. Calamari over cooked and Veal Francisco tough with this visit.
Enjoyed the Best steak I have had in a very long time; properly prepared and delicious! Joe, our waiter, was professional in every manner; attentive without being intrusive and extremely knowledgeable on every menu item. Highly recommend Eddie Merlot's for any occasion.
Our server, Robert, did an excellent job and made us feel welcome. Periodic follow up to see if we needed anything and if we were happy with the meal preparation was appreciated. We were welcomed and seated promptly by the hostess.
The food is always excellent, and the service is always so as well. We recommend tables with either Kim, Jason, or Don, but we always have really good to excellent service. The char, sea bass, steaks, mixed grill, and pork chops are superb.
We had a wonderful dinner! We had the tuna sashimi appetizer which was awesome. Then we had the Chateaubriand. It was excellent and a great value with two sides! We had the cinnamon roll dessert. Our server Don was so friendly, knowledgeable and made it a great experience! The only downside was the noise level from the bar since we were right outside of it.
Bryce is a thoroughly knowledgeable server - as, if not more, important, he was affable and funny.
We truly enjoyed our 35th wedding anniversary meal because of the treatment we received, the fabulous food and the AWESOME coffee!
