Loved it! I had all you can eat crab legs. My wife had shrimp & scallops both meals was great!
We were very impressed with our first dining experience at Eddie Merlot’s. Mary was our waitress, she was excellent. The crab legs were delicious, and banana foster for two is a must try. We will definitely be back to enjoy another wonderful meal!
The food was amazing had the bourbon ribeye and it’s was truly a treat
Nice as it should be at those prices. Sometimes even fine dining is generic.
Great experience and we would recommend this place.
Food was awesome!! Service was excellent. First time here and we will definitely be back!!
Outstanding food and service. It's my "go to place" for special occasions.
King crab legs were small, snow crab legs-not as advertised. Side dishes served late, end of meal.
Awesome experience. We went on a Friday during lent where you get all you can eat crab legs for $59. It was outstanding. Ask to have Kim for your server or in the bar ask for Jason.
Empty restaurant, waited forever. Medium rare came out overcooked. Waiter visibly pouted when we didn't order appetizers or bottles of wine.
Better value at longhorn steakhouse. Never go.
It was an elegant dining experience. The prices were a little high for the amount of food served.
Breanna took exceptional care of our party of 7. Never a moment where we wondered where she was. She anticipated our needs perfectly.
From someone who has been in the service industry for several years myself, I am particularly picky when I dine out. She was personable and thoughtful and everything a server needs to be. We look forward to our next visit and hope to be served by Breanna again.
Visited here for my birthday. Presentation was fabulous!
Great service and wine list.
The service was spotty and slow. We did not receive our until 35 minutes after seating
As always, the food and service was excellent. I have rarely been disappointed at this fine establishment!
Delicious as always. Service was wonderful. The carrot cake is amazing.
Shane was awesome
My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and the food was fantastic and the service was great as well. Highly reccomend!
The food was simply divine and “Shane” the waiter was super friendly nd attended to me very well!
Outstanding service and food! From the time we entered until we left, it was an awesome experience...
The food and service was perfect! The Chateaubriand steak was delicious as well as the carrot cake. I would highly recommend the Chateaubriand. One detail they did miss was a happy birthday message for desert. I put a request for this in the notes section of the reservation since I saw photos of this in other reviews. Other than that, it was a wonderful dinner.
The food (oysters, ribeye, sea bass, crème brulee) was incredible, however what really made it a great night was the wonderful service. Shane was our main server and he provided the perfect balance of knowledge and friendliness. He had answers to all of our (many) questions and made us feel welcome every chance he got.
The only thing I would change is the price for the amount of food- while the food was delicious and all cooked perfectly, I will say some of the servings of the main dishes seemed a bit small for the price (specifically the sea bass).
Overall I am incredibly happy with my experience and will absolutely be letting others know that Eddie Merlot's should be their next date night spot.
Always a money place to dine. Never a bad meal
I chose to celebrate my birthday here because the service is always immaculate!
A lot depends on the service staff. Unfortunately the service this evening was poor. Waitress neglected to bring the wine menu after saying she would 3 times. She insisted on bringing the desert menu , even though we said no thanks 3 times. She added a dish to our order and when advised as much, declared it would not be on the bill. It was. Just unpleasant!
As usual, wonderful dining experience at Eddie's. Great service provided by Alex and will ask for her the next time we dine. Food was excellent as usual and had a great time in one of our favorite restaurants.
The steaks are one of the best and definitely in my top 3. The service could of been much better. My drink order should never be forgotten about then run dry. We considered ourselves lucky to get 1 drink.
The service should be better for the price your paying. However the end result was worth it!! The steaks were awesome and cooked to perfection.
Although the service was less than expected I must give a 2 Thumbs up to the chefs!!
They have no idea how to cook a steak. Paid $100 for a steak that was burned to a crisp and dry on the outside, and ice cold raw on the inside.
One of Indy’s finest restaurants! I love the atmosphere, the service, and the food. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nice romantic night with a loved one, or a girls night out. The service is unbelievable. Everyone is friendly and courteous. I will be returning soon.
We've dined at Eddie Merlot quite a few times. Our experience two weeks ago was below average. My filet was charred on the outside and very dry inside. I think we both agreed that this is no longer our favorite restaurant.
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere for any occasion. 2 thumps up!
Food and ambiance very good. Love this place!
Once again, Alicia knocked it out of the park. She is such a delight. Rodney also helped make our time there enjoyable. Oh yeah, the food was also amazing.
Our waiter was Tom B he was phenomenal, the steaks exquisite and the atmosphere warm and inviting.
This was our fits time, and it will definitely not be our last. My wife and I were celebrating our 1st anniversary as well as getting probably our last date night before our first born makes her appearance. Everything was fantastic, Jason took great care of us and Dan (Sous Chef) came out to the table to personally speak about our meal and ensure that everything was up to our expectations. The food was all prepared perfectly and the ribeye was absolutely delicious and tender. My wife is a creme brulee junkie and she said numerous times that it was the best she has ever had. It was a great experience for both me, and my 38 week pregnant wife. She really appreciated the extremely comfortable chairs in the bar area as life is getting more uncomfortable by the minute at this point.
Overall very good food. Service was slow. Not as romantic as other places we have been.
Outstanding food and service!
Outstanding food and service!
The place was beautiful and the staff were great. My husband had filet and it was supposed to be medium and it came out medium well. I had the sea bass and it was just okay. For the prices I would expect better quality. They offered a $99 filet that was a special beef from Australia. Waygu I think maybe is how it’s spelled. We did not get that one and glad we didn’t spend $99 on an over cooked filet. I would go again as the French onion soup was very good and I liked the place. Just wouldn’t get the sea bass again. I’m pescatarian and don’t eat meat so my options were limited. Would have liked maybe a vegan option on the menu.
