We absolutely love this place. We have been here three other times and every time is a great time. The service is excellent and the food is phenomenal. I highly recommend Eddie Merlot’s to all my friends and family.

When entering, the valet opened the door for us and we were promptly greeted by the hostess. And seated within a couple minutes.
Our server, James, was quick to introduce himself and make us feel welcome. James made our experience very enjoyable and helped us make our dinner choice.
We went with the Greg Norman Wagyu NY Strip and we were not disappointed at all. Everything about the meal was perfect!
The Mngr came by to see if all was to our liking and spent a few minutes talking to us and answering questions about the restaurants food sourcing. I was very impressed.
A little expensive if it were just dinner but it’s also an experience. We will be back for sure!

Very good meal. Sat in the bar/lounge area and attended to by Tony. Tony did a great job. Let us take our time over a business meal. Very nice evening all the way around.

I had lamb chops and the chopped salad. Both were excellent. My wife had sea bass and Mac and cheese. The sea bass was everything my wife could have hoped for delicate, delicious. The portion was a good amount.

Service and meal was great! Everything you would expect from a high end restaurant. Attention to detail, service, attentiveness. Sean our sever was great.

We had a remarkable meal! My wife had the bone in filet and I had the Wylarah and both were the best we've ever eaten. Our server Thomas was very helpful with dinner choices and even suggested a really impressive bottle of wine after telling him our preference.

We always enjoy our dinners there , we have had some of the same writers for years , proves to us it’s not only a fair and good place to eat but also to work!

Staff was very attentive and accommodating. I would recommend Eddie Merlot's for special occasions and family dinners.

Birthday dinner

Consistently excellent food and service. Eddie's Polaris never disappoints.

Really everything for the most part lived up to expectations. Oysters Rockefeller and shrimp cocktail extremely good. The only negative was the $37 filet mignon 7 Oz was well done n not tender. My wife ordered medium pink on the inside. The fabulous oysters and the fact we were with our pastor kept my wife from saying anything till on the way home. Of the several visits to EM this was first not so great experience. As expected the prices usually reflect “nothing but the best”. We did have a great visit

We went to Eddie Merlots for Easter Sunday Brunch buffet and it did NOT disappoint!
Enjoyed all the variety of the wonderful food that was offered!

We went for a Sunday Easter brunch. The food was outstanding, but the service was not. It took our waitress about 15 minutes to bring our first round of drinks. We waiting another patient 10 minutes (so 35 with our children) for our first round of plates to be cleared, but at that time, she didn't apologize, or refill our drinks (which is frustrating, because we paid extra for drinks) . My husband and I love Eddie Merlots for dinner and thought it would be a wonderful treat for brunch, but it was disappointing to be treated so poorly when spending so much. I would not go back for brunch next year, and may not go back for dinner, as the treatment to our family was so dismissive.

Great Easter buffet.

Attended the Easter Brunch. The food was excellent except for the desserts. The desserts were hard to serve (got too warm) and was obvious they were not made fresh. Neither of us ate ours.

Excellent for Easter Buffet/brunch! Salmon, filet, lamb, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, stir fry veggies, salads..and on and on. The shrimp and king crab were perfectly prepared. On most buffets, you must peel shrimp and pull off legs. Crab legs always need to be broken open. Not here! The shrimp were king sized and cleaned. The crab legs were cut open for easy access to the meat. Superb! Oysters on half shell, bananas foster, different flavor cheesecake bites. I could go on and on. All food was very tasty. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Always plentiful supply. All staff was wonderful. Brad was our wait person and he was the best! Friendly and outgoing without being a pest. I love this restaurant. So glad I discovered it last year. I recommend it to everyone!

Absolutely great Easter brunch !!!

EM's offers their Sunday Brunch twice a year (Easter and Mother's Day) and easily claims a top-of-the-list spot for Columbus/Delaware brunch venues. Since it is a buffet, you will have to stroll and plate your own food, but the offerings and ability to sample many different items makes it worth the effort of leaving your dining table. All other table-service requests are handled in the same expert and attentive manner that you come to expect from an EM's dining experience.

We had the Easter Brunch buffet at Eddie Merlot's in Columbus. I was looking for a buffet with a lot of seafood choices and this fit the bill. The carving station with rack of lamb was a great surprise and all the sides were as good as the main dishes. The atmosphere was pleasant and we did not feel rushed to eat and free up the table although when we did leave, there were many waiting to get in. I will definitely revisit this restaurant when I am down in Columbus.

Great service and food

By far, one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long while. Originally booked a table for four but our dinner guests were late and we decided to wait for them at the bar. The live music was very good and entertaining with a bar tender who was fun, informative, and made excellent recommendations. Decided to skip the table and eat at the bar. Order from the "dinner for two" section of the menu and actually had the GM of the restaurant come out and cook the Steak Au Pois by the bar. Great evening and worth the money.

This is my father's favorite restaurant. He loves the steak - he's 99 years old. We all agree that it's very special. They were wonderful in accommodating his needs for more light, and they brought him a special dessert just for being his age! Love that service.

Wonderful evening ..

Came to Columbus to get outta town for our one year wedding anniversary. We picked Eddie Merlots for our anniversary dinner and it was spectacular. The service and food was amazing and we were highly impressed.

To celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary, we made reservations at Eddie Merlot's. We have never dined there, and it was a wonderful experience. From the time we entered the door, we were greeted with warmth and caring personnel. Our waiter was awesome, very professional, and quite good at his job. It was a memorable experience, and we will dine there again. He even took a photo of us at our dinner table.

Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding with our server. She was delightful & very knowledgeable about the menu However while going over the wine menu she clearly knew I was leaning towards their half price appreciation & yet she let me choose a wine by the glass that was almost same price of full bottle. The lamb chops ,while tasty were very small & not worth the price. We love Eddie Merlots & this was a little disappointing.

Birthday Dinner

We had a fabulous meal. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed an evening so much. The service was superb, food was superb, and the atmosphere was relaxing and special!

We had a wonderful dinner at the bar with Greg as our server. He was attentive and friendly and the food is always top-notch! We will be back again!

Went here with my son and had wonderful shrimp and then steaks. Steaks were great. Nice decor. Going back next time I visit in April.

We enjoy the casual atmosphere in the lounge/bar area. Same great food (plus some small plate/burger options) and bartenders really take care of you.

It was great as always they never disappoint. Taylor was awesome and Tony was great as well he remembered me and my husband from previous visits. Made us feel like family

EM has always been our place to dine when we're in Polaris. The service was the highlight of the evening. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and the food was outstanding. Enjoyed an awesome evening with some very very special Friends. Thanks to the staff! Always a favorite!
