Had dinner under a beautiful, lighted, and classy tent. Under the current situation, this was a great evening. Eddie's really stepped up to provide a wonderful experience. This is one of our favorite places to dine, and we have never been disappointed.

We went to Eddie's their first night open after being closed due to the pandemic. It was such a great experience! It was a beautiful night under the tent with a wonderful band playing and of course the exceptional service as usual! They are serving a limited menu right now but still had many of our favorites and everything came out fantastic! They are practicing all of the social distancing rules as well as sanitizing and cleanliness. I am so glad we decided to make this the first place we went out to dinner again! Great job to everyone at Eddie Merlot's!

Olsi was our server and he was excellent! We started with the Crab & Avocado Salad. For our entrees we enjoyed the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Chef’s Fave Dinner! Both were excellent!! As always, everything was Superb!!

Olsi was our server and he was great! We started out with the Crab & Avocado Salad and for our entrees we had the Chef’s Fave Dinner and the Pan Seared Halibut. Both were very delicious! As always, everything was excellent!! Looking forward to next time!!

Rolando was our server and he was excellent! We started out with the Caesar Salad and the King Crab & Corn Bisque. Both were quite delicious!! For our entrees we enjoyed the Bison Filet Mignon and the Filet Del Mar. Both were very excellent ~ as always!!

What can I say....food is amazing, Ray is wonderful and Kevin is so gracious! What a place filled with incredible people! You guys never disappoint us! The hostesses are beautiful and so sweet...always greeting us like family! Thanks for making each visit special!

Bobby was our server and he did an excellent job! We started with the Oysters Rockefeller which were excellent! For our entrees we both thoroughly enjoyed the Dover Sole filleted table side!! As always ~ everything was another SUPERB evening!

$36 Eddie Merlot special. . Filet was dry. Too much sauce on top. It was as if they were Trying to trying cover an average piece of meat. Order sauce on side and see what kind of meat you get. Several at our table ordered the wedge salad as 1st course. Excellent choice of salad.

Rolando was our server and he was great! We started out with the Escargot Bourguignon which was excellent! For our entrees we both had the Cedar Plank Salmon and we enjoyed the Creme Brûlée for our dessert! Everything was excellent as always!

On busy night in the main dining area, this place is very noisy. There is no sound absorbing at all. In fact the ceiling is sound reflecting. I would ask for the side dining areas which were quiet for our first visit. The steak was quite good but a little too charred on the edges for my taste. It was a large ribeye for 2 and my wife wanted it medium which may explain the heavy char on the edges. Other these 2 issues it was an excellent dining experience.

Have been to Eddie Merlot’s many times before so had great expectations for this time. Unfortunately the food and service was not up to par. It was the Saturday after Valentine’s Day but that should not excuse the fact. $28 Shrimp cocktail with FOUR shrimps used to be a great starter on dry ice with the clouds forming on the table- but now was 4 defrosted chewy shrimp on a crooked ice bowl... over-fried chewy calamari was entirely inedible, sea bass on a bed of couple shriveled up shreds of veggies for $45? Tequila/soda $20? Our bill for 4 was $600 without tip. I’d say menu entirely overpriced for the highly unpalatable experience.

We usually have a great meal at this restaurant but not this time. Had an issue with their seating chart being mixed up, slow service and a steak not cooked as ordered. Took a long time to get another glass of wine. I assume it's because it was Valentines Day weekend...

I had a great Ribeye, done to perfection.
The crab cakes were delicious.

We were celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary and had a wonderful time! We were treated royally! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and our food was absolutely delicious! We had an early reservation of 4:15 so when we first got there, the restaurant was quiet but as the night progressed, the place was hopping! Amongst the many diners, the service remained impeccable! We had an amazing night!

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t all that great to be honest. I made reservations a week in advance, but still had to wait a little under 30 mins to be seated after the hostess said it would only be a few minutes wait. After being seated, one waiter was delivering an order of shrimp to another table, but as he walked past our table, he stumbled and nearly spilled the entire order over my girlfriend. The waiter ended up pushing himself completely over our table and the entire order of shrimp spilled all over the wall, carpet, etc. directly next to us, as he held the tray and plate against the wall. Luckily my girlfriend had quick reflexes and was able to mostly avoid the spill; only a little bit got on her chair and shoes and the table. A person I believe who was the manager did come over to apologize, but that was about it. When our appetizer got delivered (calamari) I could see four full fingerprints on the entire top of the black serving dish which was very unappealing, especially since the server wouldn’t have had to touch that specific area to hold or deliver the dish. When we had the complimentary bread delivered, the waiter didn’t bring us any individual plates for us to eat over. Also there was no salt or pepper at our table and we had to ask for that twice (all of the other tables seemed to have that from the start.) And there were 3 discarded menus just propped against the wall by my feet that I noticed when we sat down as well. When we finished the calamari, it was a good 20+ minutes after that before our main dishes were delivered, and the waiter walked past us many times and didn’t take any of our dirty plates until we asked him to. I don’t usually write reviews unless it’s a really pleasant or bad experience, and unfortunately this situation falls into the latter. No complaints at all with regards to the food; the calamari and ribeyes were delicious and flavorful and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the overall experience was just disappointing.

Chose Eddie’s for our Valentines Day night out. We were seated very close to our reservation time, food was exceptional, service above average. We had a subpar experience at the Warrenville location a couple months ago, this was far superior. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing food and service. When asked how my entree was, I did have some minor issues (dry/overcooked), but it wasn’t bad enough to send back and wait 20+ minutes for a new entree. Manager came over and offered complimentary dessert for the issue.

Fantastic experience for Valentines Day. Everything was great, flowers at the table, front desk valet, "Tall Paul", and everyone else were fantastic. Expensive, but worth it! Thank you.
