I feel like it’s a new place, the server had no help, everything was taking way too long, however it was not a busy night.
The server was very professional and nice.
I didn’t like the music, the place is too bright.
Reservation was for 7:30. Entrees came out at 9:30. Unacceptable.
It was horrific from the moment we sat. Will never go back.
I am highly disappointed. I was only served the appetizer in a timely manner. My entree ended up never coming out after an hour wait. I had to leave with an empty stomach. Absolutely horrible service tonight.
The appetizers made it to the table before our cocktails did. Appetizers tasted great. Maine little necks were fresh and calamari crispy with delicious dipping sauces. The steaks came out cold. This is unfortunate as we bought $384 of the Miyazaki A5 steak. It was ice cold and the fat inedible. The Australian wagyu ribeye was the only steak that came out medium rare and warm. Medallions ice cold. Filets ice cold. Sea bass cold. I'm not sure what happened during this visit. We were so looking forward to this meal.
Everything from the ambiance, service and food was amazing! I couldn’t eat my food fast enough. Will definitely be coming back.
Good food, ambiance good, waiter service needs a little work with refilling drinks and checking on us, but the place is new
We took our friend here for her birthday. Everything was phenomenal! Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and wait service!!
Amazing steak, and wine! Can't say enough about the steak. Other foods were good but not outstanding.
Our waiter was excellent! He always was aware of where we were in the meal and attended to us. The overall management was smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend! The food was excellent.
Their french onion soup was think, like it was the pot bottom. But the grilled Pork chops were flavorfull, and cooked perfectly.
We have another steak house entry in the market... and it's a serious player. We had a fantastic dinner here and look forward to returning.
Parking is tight in the Seaport area... no problem, park in the huge parking structure next door, validate ticket at the restaurant with a sticker... $15.
They did a fine job with the decor and tabletop. Service is attentive and management is present on the floor. Very comfortable space.... and the bar area is really nice too.
The Chow: Sweet & Spicy Shrimp... very good. Oysters Rockefeller... wife wasn't thrilled. French Onion Soup... excellent, broth a lttle on the sweet side. The star of the night... The Chateaubriand for 2... a 20 oz. center cut beef tenderloin that was perfectly cooked and sliced at the table. Ordered MED and came out more of a Med Rare... the quality was so good it didn't matter... was great! Mac & Cheese... good. Mashed Potatoes... great. Brussel Sprouts... great. The mac and the mashed were on the small side by steakhouse standards. Creme Brulee for dessert was a nice rendition.
Wine list is good.
Very nice people but the food was not so good
Perfect date night experience.
We were party of 12 celebrating my friend birthday .
This was our first Time at this resturant.
The waiter was a good men but not able to taker of us
Since he was the only guy for our table and few other
Tables as well. Let me put it this way after our expriance
At this resturant none of us will go back there again.
Service was terrible, waited forever for water, drinks, etc. steak was good as was wedge salad. Crab legs came out disgusting and we had to send them back. We will not be back
We usually go to Morton’s but wanted to try something different. We had my family of five. We had prompt service, restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. Our server was excellent.
We started with drinks and apps. Hubby got scotch which has the large ice cube, excellent touch. I had the Persian Lemon Drop which was unique and delicious.
We ordered app of sweet and spicy shrimp and filet mignon dumpling, very good but nothing special.
My son had the French onion soup which was outstanding.
My daughter has Caesar salad also outstanding.
Over all good but not outstanding
Everything was outstanding, except for the salmon. Not a good representation of such a fine restaurant. I had the steak and salmon.
First time to Eddie Merlot's on a Friday night. Usual restaurant choices were booked for the day and time we needed, but based on Opentable's reviews and becuase Eddie Merlot's had plenty of availability I booked there. It was very good overall. I think they only opened a few months ago, so for now at least it seems to be a bit undiscovered, very quiet for a busy summer Friday night. But, vs the other well know Boston steakhouses I thought it matched up pretty well in terms of ambiance, food quality and service. The bread, by they way was particularly good !! I do wish they had valet parking!! Though there is a large public parking lot literally next door, but that parking lot is huge and literally may have been the most confusing parking lot I have ever tried to get out of after parking the car, and back into find our car when we came back. But, other than that, overall it was good experience and I will put it on my list of restaurants options for next time.
I absolutely loved it. From the moment you walk in, you’re well taken care of. I am super happy I got the experience of having Kim as my server. She is simply amazing. I highly recommend her.
Sides small and runny and not brought out with steak. Had to ask for the bread. Potstickers hard as rock on outside. Filet good.
Just wonderful service. Wonderful food. Great prix fix deal!!
I love the ambiance of this place! The dining room is comfortable, yet beautiful, elegant, and spacious. I will definitely return to try more dishes. The blacken salmon was made to perfection and the caesar salad was amazing. Service was friendly and well-timed. I definitely recommend Eddie Merlot’s as the go to restaurant.
Absolutely love this place. The service and food are amazing! Definitely coming here to dine again.
Great service and lovely food. The starteers were a bit rich and lacked some diversity but the mains were excellent.
My all time favorite place to go now! Staff is amazing and the food is to die for.
Experience was outstanding, first time went for an anniversary a it was great.
Mediocre to poor food at very high prices. Service was slow. Avoid calamari at all costs, worst I’ve ever had.
Clam chowder and French onion soup were outstanding. Wife also really enjoyed her crab cakes. The star of the meal however was the prime ribeye, perfectly cooked medium rare, and as good, if not better, than any ribeye I have ever had anywhere.
Service was non intrusive but attentive.
Thank you to Eddie Merlot’s in Boston for taking such care of us on our 15th anniversary. The food was fantastic, Kaylin and the team provided outstanding service. Definitely coming back!
Everything was amazing ! The dining area was very nice, food was delicious, drinks were great & our server was perfect for our large party! Highly recommended!!!
We were meeting family in Boston when we decided to dine at Eddie Merlot’s, it was truly amazing! This has to be the newest gem in Boston.
What an experience, from having drinks prepared by Ms Sarah to excellent 5 Star service from Ms Molly.
Everything from appetizers, dinner to desserts were truly amazing. They have an unbelievable wine selection and the carrot cake is the best that you will ever have.
My grandkids loved the chicken and fries ☺️ and our family of 10 selected various dishes, lot’s of steak dishes, and delicious sides.
Thanks to Art and Paul, the manager and GM to making our family dinner one to remember.
Cheers to the Eddie Merlot’s Team

First time eating here. The Steaks are delicious. Cooked perfectly. Drink selection is great as well. Definitely plan on coming back here again in the future.
We ordered the Waygu filets snd I don’t think that is what we received. I think they substituted a different quality of meat b
Perfectly seared Chateaubriand. Tempura green beans and mac and cheese were excellent sides. Table-side Bananas Foster for dessert was delicious. Molly was an outstanding server.
good food, great service. definitely will be back
Great service and absolutely the best oysters I have ever had! Highly recommended
Great place for steak in the Seaport. Excellent service and great filet.
The carrot cake was amazing.
There are many choices in Boston for a great steak, this is definitely one of the best.
We had awesome time specially it was my daughter’s Birthday, our dinner was excellent, and we had great time our servers were great and very attentive.
