Excellent service, welcoming staff, food was perfect!
Fantastic attention to detail. Made us feel special. We were there for our anniversary. They had rose petals, candlelight and an anniversary card signed by all the staff waiting at our table. Food was phenominal. Server was amazing. Free dessert for our anniversary. So special!
I tried the perch; it was awesome! The carrot cake is excellent and more than enough for four.
Another wonderful dinner at Eddie Merlos!! Food and wine are delicious. Jon the server and Matt the manager make the evening excellent.
Dan was our server! He was amazing! He recognized it was our anniversary and made us feel very special! We shared the Chateaubriand. It was prepared medium. He did table side service to bring mine up to medium well! He treated us to a creme brulee with Happy Anniversary stenciled on the plate. Such a nice unexpected touch! The food was amazing, but we will definitely return and have Dan take care of us. It’s rare you find such perfect service!
Always great getting to chat with John K. We love the food never disappoints. Our server was wonderful it was a nice night out for us (which we usually don’t get a lot of) we always choose Eddie Merlot’s and will continue to do so!
Great waitress, great food, great atmosphere. I’ll be back!
Great food and service....wine selection is outstanding
The service was excellent. The food was very good. We plan to dine there again soon
Our server Joe was awesome, his introduction highlighted a few of there specialties and after a brief look at the menu and talking with him he made some recommendations and what to get and we all agreed, couldn't of been happier. The apps and crab and avocado salad were a great starter, and then just as we were all eagerly anticipating our entrees we saw joe turn the corner with our steaks on his carving table. He sliced and plated everything and told us what each cut was and how they differed, the waygu filet was the winner for our group, so tender it almost dissolved in your mouth.
The manager Matthew visited our table and after a brief talk about wine suggested a Malbec to pair with dinner, and at $65 it was easy to justify getting a 2nd bottle. With four courses and coffee the dinner took around 2.5 hours, a fact our 8 yr old noted more then once, next time we'll get a babysitter cause we will be back.
The service was GREAT! The waiter was very knowledgeable, helpful and funny and experienced. The bartender made my drinks perfectly, especially since I tend to stay away from sugary drinks. Food was amazing.
We had an excellent meal and very good service. It was my grandson’s birthday and the birthday dessert was much appreciated.
50th anniversary celebration was very nice. Food delicious, service good.
We wanted to try the restaurant for our anniversary. Our waitress greeted us with an entire story about the restaurant and insisted on going over the entire menu even though we had already made up our mind. The prices were higher than most comparable ones in the area. They even had been from Australia that had been massaged! I would rather spend the money on a massage for me and pay less for the beef. We were not overly impressed and probably won't go back. The carrot cake was very good.
Our server Michael was excellent, food was very good, had a wonderful dinner.
As always, an outstanding dining experience. From the moment you walk in until the valet has your car waiting when you are checking out. The fillet is some of the best around.
Great meal. Service was excellent.
Our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The food, service and ambiance were a perfect addition to a special occasion.
I love this place. A regular favorite
I made a 8PM reservation for my 14th wedding anniversary,I was not seated until 8:40PM. I asked for bread and we never received the bread. The appetizer was phenomenal, my husband's steak was so fatty and burnt. He was so disappointed. My steak was more burnt than anything, I ordered the loaded hashbrown and the were extremely hard. We were supposed to get chocolate cake and we did not receive that. Our waiter only came to our table twice the whole night. 3 tables around us were complaining about their food and their service. One table asked us how we liked our food because theirs was bad. I was trying to make this a REALLY special night for my husband and it went all bad. We did not enjoy the food or service at all. This cost too much money to be bad.
Expensive, small portions
Service was great
Ambiance was nice
Everyone was taking very loud because of the live music
Value for money was not good
Wonderful Restaurant food was well prepared and off the charts great.
Always a pleasure dining
Great great Mac and cheese steak was perfect going again love the place
Was there for Valentine's Day dinner. Service was attentive, but restaurant was crowded and staff seemed a little overwhelmed. Restaurant was noisy with close seating which made it hard for normal conversation. Food was very average at best. Food took a long time and taste/quality similar to much less expensive restaurants. Definitely expected more.
Overall just average. While service was good with it being a busy night, very overpriced for the food and restaurant atmosphere.
Everything was fine throughout the night, the food was very good, but we ordered a to go order of steak and mashed potatoes, they sent us home with salmon and two scoops of mashed potatoes, looked like it was left overs from someone else's food.
Food and service was exceptional
It was a very nice dinner with my wife for Valentines day
Everything was great, the appetizer took a bit longer than expected and was covered by manager without question (along with an apology when it was brought to table). They watch there order times carefully. Great attention to detail and wonderful waiter who described dishes in a way that made your mouth water.
We celebrated my wife's birthday and we both had a very good meal. They surprised us wth a complementary desert.
The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding.
My mother and I were looking for a nice restaurant. We were able to make a reservation on open table and thought we would give Eddie Merlot’s a try. It was such an amazing experience. Our server, Jared, was the best server I have ever had. Very friendly, efficient, and so knowledgeable of the menu. You could really tell he took pride in his menu and restaurant. The food was delicious and the wine menu was perfect. Thank you Jared and Eddie Merlot’s. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful experience, fabulous food,
Always a delightful & enjoyable dining experience!
John Kelly is the best GM in Michigan. Scott was our waiter and he was great. We like sitting in the bar area for dinner. They have live music on most weekends.
john recommended a great bottle of wine and it was awesome. The price was $79 (not $179).
Jared did a great job working with the kitchen to make some adjustments we wanted to our entrees. He was very knowledgeable of the wines and menu. He was very attentive and present when he needed to be.
The entire experience was wonderful. The food was superb, service was accommodating and attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Looking forward to my next dining experience at Eddie Merlot's!
Really enjoyed Eddie Merlot as usual...made my birthday dinner special...food was excellent and the extra bonus of creme brulee was very nice.
Dined from the bar menu; great prime burger and sliders. Especially enjoyed the sweet & spicy shrimp appetizer. Service was, as always, friendly and made sure we were well taken care of (thanks, Jonathan).
Food was great as usual! Date night! The new Pork Chop item on the menu was fabulous.
