Food was a little off this time around. 2 of the 4 Steaks weren’t cooked properly and no Eddies potatoes due to a poor batch being created earlier.

Overall great experience $$$$ top dollars for meals

My wife and I have been here several times, and always enjoyed it. But last night was absolutely the worst. The waitress we had could not have been less interested in serving us. She didn’t tell us what the specials were, we had to ask (so did the couple at the next table). And that was only after we’d already ordered. The specials included a beautiful tomahawk-steak, that we couldn’t order because we didn’t know it was being offered! We ordered cream spinach, but got broccoli. And by the time the spinach finally came we were done with our meal. Then the waitress seemed to be in a hurry, and very short with us for some reason. We left extremely disappointed.

First time at Eddie Merlot’s and we will return!! Seated at a nice table by the fireplace. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was delicious. Wonderful experience!!

This was our first time at this restaurant, based on the recommendations of several friends. We were not disappointed. The restaurant works hard to follow good safety protocols and they are able to still keep a relaxing and attractive ambience. Our server, Laura, was attentive, friendly, and courteous. The specialty cocktails are delicious - and pack a pleasant "punch". The wine list was extensive with choices for all tastes and budgets. And the food was plentiful and delicious. Our meals were beautifully presented and our steaks (filet mignon and NY Strip) were perfectly cooked. You will spend some money to eat here, but in our case, the dining experience presented was worth the cost. Our only regret was forgetting to register for their rewards program. We will return!

Celebrated a friend’s 50th - great meal and service. Will be back!

Food was not as good as last time. Ambiance is nice and the reason we chose the spot with friends. Help was adequate but lacked hospitality. Should take lessons from chick fi la or starbucks.

We always have an awesome time and delicious dinner at Eddie. Our server Matt was awesome. Nice and chilled Katel One Martinis to start our dinner. Oyster on the half shelled and mussels appetizers were delicious. My bourbon ribeye was tough. My husband ordered bison filet but got bison ribeye instead. We were disappointed on the entrees. Kurt(manager on duty) stopped by and apologized for the entrees. We like it there. We will be back. Maybe chef had bad night

We overall had a nice time at Eddie Merlot. Shrimp appetizer was good, Red wine and Creme Brûlée excellent. However my $50 Ribeye was not tender, for that cost i expect a better piece of meat. Anyways the service was good, crowd was a little loud but nothing can be done about that.

We had a FANTASTIC time dining here with our friends for Valentine's day. Rob was our server and he was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable on wines...which is a HUGE 5 star for us. We can't wait for the bar to be back open and come in to have more fabulous times here.

The restaurant is beautiful, services are excellent but the food isn’t quite my expectation. The food is decent but my fillet mignon was between warm and cold. I also had the shrimp and scallop and it was delicious. I was hoping Eddie Merlot will be my regular since it is near my home but Eddie V always going to be my first choice.

The food was delicious. The service was great, the restaurant was busy because we came the night before Valentine’s Day but there wasn’t any delays or mistakes. Loved it

I got to celebrate Galentine’s dinner with a dear friend who I haven’t seen in a long time. I’m new to the area, so I’d never been before. We both agreed that our meals were the best we’ve had in a long time. And our waitress was very sweet and great at her job. Thanks for making the night fun and delicious!

Valentine’s Day

The first time we ate was at their pittsburgh location, and it was good. We ate the valentine's day special filets stakes and lobster tails yumi.

If you are looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, food and service Eddie Merlot’s is your place. I took my wife here for our anniversary and they did not disappoint. I had the ribeye, she had the filet mignon, we both had the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The service here was amazing and I want to start with that because this is a rare negative review for us and it had nothing to do with service. We ordered an Oyster Rockefeller app, Caesar and French Onion Soup, a Filet and a Porterhouse. The oysters were basically creamed spinach with cheese and we wondered if they used the same creamed spinach from their side dish. The Caesar was fine but the French Onion came out Luke warm with the cheese not completely melted. I don’t remember any onion at all. The steaks were not cooked properly for the price. I’m not saying the temperature was wrong because both steaks came out medium and medium rare respectively. What I mean is it almost steamed as if they were steamed to be heated up. The outside was not crisp at all and the porterhouse was just a terrible cut of meat. Lastly the wild mushrooms were awful and the larger pieces were hard. It was our first time here and our last.

My friend and I had a great time here. Staff was very professional friendly. They followed Covid rules very well.
Had the tomahawk steak which was very good and super fun. They cut it in front of you so felt a little more special.
The place is beautiful and open but warm. Everyone was spaced out but it was nice to sit around other people.
Parking is super easy.
I wouldn’t order the asparagus again because I could do that at home. And the cheese tray was good but again, I could do that at home too. Nice to nibble on while we chatted and had waited for our dinner.
But the Mac and cheese with lobster was super yummy. And the potatoes au gratin with cheese on top was tasty too. They also have a great selection of drinks. Super stuffed when we left so didn’t try the desserts. Music was pretty good too.

Eddies Merlot never disappoints. Food and service are great. Nothing beats the French onion soup on a cold winter evening. Can't wait to see the full menu back.

We always love to go to Eddie Merlot whether it is just my wife and I or with friends. On this visit we took three friends along and everyone was as pleased with the food quality, service and ambiance as we always are. We can trust Eddie Merlot for a perfect experience every time.
