Absolutely wonderful dinning experience, top notch staff and some of the best steaks and food you can get.
Cameron was an outstanding server. The food was incredible and the ambiance was perfect. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
Very nice experience fist time eating here. Server and atmosphere was lovely.
While visiting the area for a wedding, we sought a place to have a hearty meal with outdoor seating. Eddie Merlot's offered us that and more. The Philly-raised hostess greeted and seated us with wonderful spirit. And our server Laura (as well as the other members of the wait team) ensured we felt welcome and catered to the entire time. The menu offers an array of wonderful meats and fishes and has an extensive cocktail and wine menu. Dinner was capped off with a peanut butter cup style dessert that helped ensure we were more than satiated. This meal was a real treat!
Quality of meals are hit and miss.
Service is outstanding!
Ambiance is great!
We came to celebrate our 43rd anniversary, this was our 9th visit and in the past we had always had Abdullah as our server, we really loved him and was sad to hear he had left.
We had Scott this evening and we enjoyed him, he’s very knowledgeable and friendly.
It was a little disappointing that your restaurant doesn’t acknowledge milestones of your patrons, even a menu with Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary goes a long way to give the personal touch that your restaurant cares.
Jeremy was amazing
Went here for a business dinner. Quiet week night. Good spot overall. Food and service were good. Would come back.
Dayra was amazing! It was my first time and my birthday, she made it a great experience. The food was amazing. Also great for kids; my 7 yr old brother was there and he loved the steak on the kids menu. Will be back for sure.
Delicious meal. Our server Scott was outstanding. Hard to believe it was packed on a rainy Tuesday evening and Scott went above and beyond to make sure all of his guests were well taken care of. Tempura asparagus is amazing. Filet was cooked a perfect medium rare. Carrot cake is a MUST.
The staff is very friendly and the service was impeccable but I wish I could say the same for the flavor of the food. I was expecting out-of-this-world flavors for their prices but it was a let down. The filet mignon was not tough but it was bland and did not melt in your mouth (Red Lobster was much better). The shrimp tasted fishy, the peppercorn sauce was a bit bland, and the blue cheese for the salad did not have that kick. The dessert was good though and the presentation was very cool. Maybe the chef had an off-night but it was too expensive to gamble for a second try.
They were slow with everything except bringing the bill.
Overall, a fantastic experience. The ambiance was top notch and the food was incredible. Our server, Dayra was professional, courteous, and very friendly.
Great place for an anniversary meal. Really enjoyed it.
The rating reflects my disappointment in my food. The crab cakes were not made of jumbo crabmeat as expected and were too mushy. Both the scallops and shrimp were overcooked and the rice was swimming in butter. I am not likely to order seafood here again if I return.
Had a lovely dinner at Eddie's! Wine and cocktails were outstanding and our food was delicious. Couldn't have asked for better experience overall.
Had a reservation in the m as in dining room. But was seated in a different area lots of kids and not our usual dining experience at Eddies
Great food, great service, great location and great ambience. Expensive? Sure is, but our dinner was a great experience we are likely to repeat.
We asked for a quiet table when we made a reservation as it was our anniversary. We were offered the front table neat to the front door and by a kitchen door. I asked for another table and the hostess give us the next table over. There were several better tables that were unoccupied while we were there. The appetizers were good as was the service to that point. Then a party of 10 energetic young people were seated next to us. Our server had to focus on that large party and we became an afterthought. I cannot fault people for having fun but it was impossible for my wife and I to communicate and we were nearly ignored half way through our meal. The main courses were good if not exceptional. My wife ordered dessert and we left without eating it due to the noise level. It was an bad experience.
Delicious dinner. Great value. Service was EXCELLENT! Cassie took GREAT care of us.
Without the typical business crowd, it was a very quiet night. For the second time in a row, we had meat cooked incorrectly - a major concern at a steakhouse. A "rare" was done "very well". Service was very friendly, but clearly they are understaffed, so a bit slow. Price remains incredibly high. Budget at least $80 per person before alcohol.
I took my wife here for her BD. We ordered the calamari which I didn’t care for b/c it was cooked in a tempura batter. My wife liked the calamari. My wife order from the Sommer Prefix menu and had steak Diane which she said was delicious. I order the bourbon steak and a side of fries. The bourbon steak was phenomenal, however the Parmesan fries were a little over cooked for me. We had peaches and cream and creme brûlée for dessert. There was something that just didn’t taste right with the creme brûlée and I should have stop eating once I sensed that. I took a few more bits and decided. It to finish. Later that night or early morning I paid for it with not so good feeling in my stomach. My wife wasn’t completely satisfied with the peaches n cream either. She said the peaches weren’t good and cookie/crust was soggy. The sogginess is understandable seeing that we took the dessert home which probably assisted with the sogginess. I would visit again however I would only order steak and side. I may try the crab cake if I wanted an appetizer.
Excellent experience, as always!!!
Was not impressed with the food at all. For a $99 wagyu streak you shouldn’t have to sit there chewing through fat.
Sides were awful the mushrooms looked and tasted like they came out of a can.
Food delicious, service exceptional..Connie was our server.
Great spot for steaks and the sides are big enough for sharing.
I'm never disappointed when I visit Eddie Merlot"s
The services and food are always on point. But, what I enjoy the most is the customer services and the waiter and waitresses they what make you keep coming back.
Great meal and service with great atmosphere and seating. (Something that seems to get lost with some higher end restaurants). Service was excellent she was responsive without disturbing our conversation. Usually I wouldn’t comment on drinks however the cocktails weren’t the best. We wound getting a bottle of wine which totally made up for the cocktails. Some local restaurants are still staffing up and I recognize that it can adversely affect service however this wasn’t the case for our evening.
Great food and great service
Wonderful atmosphere. Rochelle provided excellent service. Can't wait to go back!
We did the summer prix fixe menu and it's a fabulous deal! You get the perfect amount of food - 3 courses - for $40/person. Our only complaint is that the wine pours are a bit stingy. If I'm paying $15/glass, I want a good pour.
Fantastic ambiance, great food with lots of choices, terrific service, and solid value.
Dinner was nice while sitting outside. Service was great and the food was delicious!
We went to the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted as we entered the restaurant. We had a reservation and they seated us quickly. Our server, Leonela, was excellent. She explained the menu and our options. She checked on us throughout the evening but did not hover. The food was very good. We had drinks and an appetizer before our entrees. Dessert was excellent :) We are anxious to go back and try the bar area and also the outdoor seating. Noise was low so my husband and I were able to talk using indoor voices. We enjoyed being able to hear each other. We very much enjoyed our evening.
The food and service are always good. We had an early reservation on a Wednesday and we basically had the restaurant to ourselves.
Their Prix Fixe is a great value. The lettuce on the Caesar salad was a little brown. Overall, service, atmosphere, and rest of food was great.
Great dining experience! We celebrated a birthday and they made sure everything is perfect for us. Service and food were great and they even brought us a birthday cake with a candle.
