Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef & Seafood - Ashburn
Jeremy was amazing!!
The service was good just the food took a little bit longer then expected, but nice atmosphere and lovely setting.
We had a wonderful dinner at Eddie's! Our food and service were excellent. We shared the 10 oz ribeye and it was prepared perfectly and served beautifully. Thanks to all for making it a wonderful experience from cocktails to dessert!
Eddie Merlot has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is very flavorful. Do yourself a favor and order any steak. It's very good!
Delicious food with outstanding service. Thanks to Taya who always give us outstanding service
We ordered the meals from the special “Make a Wish Foundation” menu and the food took forever and was cold. Crab legs were awful. They did not taste good (too salty/fishy tasting) and were not split but they are on regular menu. Asked about splitting them and they said this was a special. Filet was tough too. Will never go back to this restaurant!!!
Food, meh. Carla, great server!! She made it worth it.
The service was excellent however the food was not. Rib-eye was cooked to order however it was not tender and had a bit too much fattiness.
I love going to Eddie Merlot’s. From the hostess, to the wait staff, server and management, everyone is always very pleasant. Most importantly the food is excellent. I have a dairy allergy however the chief was not skimpy on flavor, my bone in filet, with steamed broccoli was absolutely delicious.
Excellent steak, delicious appetizers and sides. Yummy carrot cake. We had a lovely evening!
Excellent service and food as always. The wait staff are always courteous.
First time my wife and I have dined here. Total experience from Food, Ambiance to Service was a 5 star experience. We highly recommend dining here for any occasion!
Andy is such a great waiter. He recognizes us when we come in. He’s a great asset for Eddie Merlot’s. Food was great as usual. Liked some of the newer items like the cheese board and steamed spinach. Did not like the new corn casserole. We really loved the creamed corn that was on the menu before the recent changes. Always a great wine selection too. We sat in the dining room since it was a special occasion but we really enjoy the bar area too. We’re very glad Eddie Merlot’s came to northern Virginia!!!
Great time, service and food were fantastic. Very sweet people who work there, made us feel at home.
The server was overwhelmed with serving 5 tables. We had been there before and had wonderful service. We had to flag the server we had from filling water to asking for bread to clearing the table. A little disappointed.
My husband and I chose to go to Eddie Merlots for our wedding anniversary dinner and we were greatly disappointed. The service was slow, food was mediocre, especially for the price that was paid, and there was no effort made by the staff to make our anniversary dinner special. Will likely not return.
Great experience. Only thing was there was a reception there and we were seated next to the open door so noice was a little loud but not distractingly loud.
Had the Wagyu outstanding
The restaurant is lovely. The decor is exquisite. The service is superb. The scallops were seared and served a top a corn and jalapeno relish. Unusual, but yummy.
Service was exceptional!
Food quality and preparation were excellent!
Love this place! Excellent every time!
Couple of issues this time: 1. The tomahawk rib-eye was cooked correctly (medium-rare), but was cold by the time it arrived at our table. I suspect is rested for too long in the kitchen. 2. The server pouring the wine into our wine glasses was pouring heavily in one glass, but left much much less for the other glass at our table. Without exaggeration, my wife probably ended-up with one-third of the bottle versus my getting two-thirds of the bottle from a per pour perspective.
Good service & great food. Fantastic menu selection, chefs top notch!
Great night. Thanks Meg.
Coconut ( the dog ) loved the tomahawk steak bone.
For the price you shouldn’t have to wait 45 -55 min for appetizers. Food was good, descent wine selection, server was nice. Nothing that blew us away.
we were totally disappointed.
The bread was great, the shrimp cocktail had no sauce which was its signature, the chopped salad had no reason to be so overpriced other than it was mainly lettuce, the creamed spinach was all cheese and no spinach.
The steaks were very good but when I opened by box when i got home my leftover very expensive steak has been placed in the middle of my leftover very creamy, creamed spinach.
Not a great experience for a $ 200.00 dinner !
Food was fine. Nothing bad just not exciting .Service not great. Pushy at beginning and then disappeared. .
It was a nice anniversary dinner.
Service was superb and the food was excellent.
We have teen to the restaurant for many times. Service is always excellent by Taya. She gave us an excellent service. Excellent wine selection and chilled martini. Our crab and avocado salad was delicious. My husband Bison ribeye was cook to perfection, but my bourbon ribeye was over cooked and 2 shrimp wrapped with bacon were raw. I had to send them back. I was big disappointed because you are steak house you should know to cook steak to perfection
Steak was improperly prepared and not highest quality for the price.
Arrived 30 minutes early and were asked if we would like to be seated or visit the bar, we chose to be seated. Everything was fantastic from the service, our waitresses recommendations, the food and the ambiance. We will be back!
Great experience! Fabulous service, and the food was “off the charts”.
Delicious food with outstanding service. Taya is awesome. She is always take great care of us. Delicious crab and avocado salad as an appetizer. Bison filet and bourbon ribeye were perfectly cooked. We will be back
Food was great as always. Service was lacking. Our server. Andy, was quite the talker... with the other tables. We were 20 minutes before he took our wine order. Entree came before we were half way through the appetizer. Love the food and ambience here but service lacked that night.
We had a very nice dinner at Eddie's. Always love the comfortable, impressive elegance there and it's a great place to enjoy visiting with dining companions. We started with cocktails and wine then decided to try their summer special offerings. I had the cedar plank salmon which was outstanding. Salmon was cooked perfectly and sides that accompanied it were excellent. My husband had the coffee crusted wagu strip steak which sounded yummy but was a bit disappointed in cut of meat. Hardly tasted the coffee flavor and steak was a bit thin and chewy. Definitely not up to Eddie's usual steak offerings. Overall though dinner was wonderful. Finished with a nice creme brûlée and all was well.
Food was perfect.
Verything from start to finish were superb. We always request Taya to be our server. She is very professional. We started with a dozen of oyster on the halfshell. They were fresh and delicious. Wh had 2 wagu ribeye, king crab legs and 2 grilled shrimp wrap with bacon. The wagu ribeye cooked to perfect meduim rare. Thanks to Omar and Matt for checking on uscto make sure that we enjoy. We will be back
