Steak
Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood starts with U.S.D.A. Prime Beef. Only 2% of all U.S. beef is awarded this superior certification. Eddie Merlot’s ages the beef naturally to an unparalleled standard of tenderness and flavor. The chef then personally selects each piece for the optimum proportion of marbling, and texture, before hand-cutting and seasoning the thick, tender, and juicy steaks to your specifications. To seal in the flavor, the steak is flash-sear on high-heat grills. Eddie Merlot’s has created one of the hottest concepts today; the wine bar provides more than 40 wines by the glass and a very extensive reserve wine collection by the bottle. The bar is stocked with all of the finest spirits and after dinner cordials and Cognacs. Eddie Merlot’s boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire.

Food was just okay, server was very awkward and had too many tables and main dining room was very loud for a quiet evening out. Might be in search of a new nice dinner spot as things just aren’t like they were when the restaurant first opened.

Brought my wife, son and mother in law for a birthday dinner and was extremely disappointed. Asked for a quiet table and was surrounded by 1) four young ladies enjoying a fun but loud evening out, a couple with a crying baby, and a party of 10. I am not against having fun (the four young ladies) and I don't have a problem with families taking their children out for dinner or large dinner groups but,,,, when you specifically ask for a quiet table for a special occasion and you end up in that situation it is disappointing to say the least. In addition to the above, the service was slow and sporadic. Some of our party got their meal 5-10 min before others. Eddie Merlots isn't the cheapest place to go so we went because we wanted something special and it wasn't at all. I am not sure I will go back any time soon.

First time to this restaurant and we were very pleased with the entire experience. Our steaks were perfect and the salad and side dishes were extremely good. Very good service and a pretty place. We had a nice booth which was very comfortable. We shared a desert and it was huge even for two people. I thought the frosting was too sweet for carrot cake but overall it was a good desert. I’ve just had better CC, that’s all. I had a martini which was excellent. My wife’s Cosmo had to be redone because she requested no lime in it and it clearly tasted of lime juice. Second time around it was much better.

Service was extremely friendly, but a bit slow for being not very crowded. Food was alright. The filet potstickers were not bad, but on the bland side. The grilled shrimp was good. The coffee season beef had potential but was extremely over cooked (ordered rare/med rare and came out medium well at best). Because our server was MIA, we just decided to make the best of it. Although, he apologized when we did see him and did what he could to make it right. I would consider giving this place another shot (because I’ve heard good things)- I’m hoping this was just an off night.

I took my wife to this amazing place for her birthday and we loved it! We both had 3-course meals with mixed drinks and could not believe the chef menu deals. We will definitely go back and refer others to go. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration for my wife.

Had the Wagyu Filet and it was worth every penny! Side dishes are all great and the wine list is very impressive. We added the King Crab Legs onto our meal and they were slightly over cooked but still tasted good. They have a great Happy Hour food/drink menu that's hard to find in this area.

We enjoyed a nice evening at the bar with drinks and snacks. Had the filet mignon lettuce wraps to start. They were excellent and could have easily had a dozen instead of sharing 3! Then we had the wonderful wedge salad. All were very nice along with hand crafted cocktails.

My husband and I each had a filet and I'm pretty sure we would have been able to cut them with a fork. They were tender and delicious! We've already reserved another dinner there in a couple of weeks.

We eat here often, hubby suggested I order the wagyu beef because it was my birthday. I usually order the filet mignon, and I was disappointed as there was no difference in texture or taste from the wagyu and the filet. I should have just ordered the filet and saved the $69.95 I paid for the 5 oz wagyu cut. I mentioned something to our waiter, and all he said was, "well now you know you've tried wagyu and how it tastes." :o0 Really??

Food was excellent. Server was efficient and attentive. My group had Wagyu ribeyes and I had sea bass. They were all cooked to perfection. We ordered 3 sides and 2 would have been plenty for 4 of us to share.

Noise level was high, given the crying baby during the meal. Could not hear our waiter speak and he was slow on the service side. My steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium. I asked the waiter and he stated "yes that is more medium not medium rare". He did ask if I wanted another steak , but that would have made me miss my meal with my guests so I declined. Will give this place another try, maybe just an off night

Food was outstanding however the service was just OK. Our waiter would disappear for long periods of time and we had to ask other waiters for bread, water refills and wine. Our second order of wine we never received so we just told him not to charge us and we passed on it. All very sad since there were only twelve to fifteen patrons in the main dining room while we were there (Tuesday night).

This was my first time going to Eddie Merlot's and I enjoyed it very much. We were seated right away. The service was excellent as was the food. The wine selection is extensive. It is a fairly expensive restaurant but not out of line with any of the higher end steak houses I have been too. Perfect place for celebrating a special occasion. I will definitely be going back.

The restaurant has a nice setting. We had to ask the server twice for the market price for the crab legs and had to remind him a second time to bring us the dessert menu.
The food was good and nice presented but not worth the money they charged.
We have been to the happy hours a few times before and loved it. We will return for happy hour but not for dinning.

We’re always looking for great steak places and Eddie Merlot’s did not disappoint. The service was amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive.

The spinach artichoke dip was a little chunky and dry, but tasted amazing.

Both of our steaks were delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. I highly recommend “Maxwell style” - same as Oscar but with lobster meat instead of crab! Really tasty!

The chocolate cake had a coffee glaze, which we didn’t care for, but if you like coffee, then this is your dessert!!

The mac and cheese was good, but not great. Honestly, there was so much other stuff that the mac and cheese really got ignored.

Looking forward to going back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Eddie Merlot's for HH. I enjoyed the wine and the food. Our server was sweet and enjoyable, a bit slow with retrieving wine and being that HH is a time sensitive event, it wasn't great to see my wine sit at the bar and him pass it constantly. I think for HH they should offer more options, but I was delighted with the portion size having no bearing on reduced cost. The bill was way more than we planned before getting to the restaurant, but for what we ordered it was justified. Just not sure I'll do a HH there again as its usually supposed to be a cheaper option. Food was excellent and wine also was excellent. The ambiance provided a great place for my friend and I to catch up.
