I'm not sure the server knew the menu. Three people at the table ordered the brisket sandwich. She said it came with two sides. We disagreed, but she insisted so we all ordered two sides. When she served the food, it was not a sandwich, but 6 "strips" of brisket on a platter. We were also charged for a platter which is about $7-$8 more than the sandwich. The food was good. Would I refer a friend to Eddie Joe's - I'm saying yes to the question, but honestly I doubt I'd ever go back.

Wow, delicious!!! Girl’s night out couldn’t have been better! Made an early reservation, sat at a high table by the window and was instantly greeted by a friendly waitress. I got the brisket sandwich (exceptional!) with sweet potato tots, another got the wings, and the third got the ribeye with beans. Oh, the beans…yummo!!! We can’t wait to come again, my mouth is watering to try the ribs! Also, it was greet to see people of all ages (from babies to grown-ups) enjoying a night out at Eddie Joe’s.

Generally fairly good, Ribs did not seem to be freshly smoked, and had the texture of warmed-up day-olds. Temperature of the ribs was lukewarm, not hot. Perhaps only the second time since Eddie Joe's opened that I have left not fully appreciative of the food.

The food was flavorful and meet was tender. The value for the food was also good. My only slight constructive comment would be to try to get the plates of food out to the customers quicker so the temperature remains high. My meal was lukewarm.

Best BBQ in the region. Food was great and menu was creative. Our server, Casey, was welcoming and very engaging. Would recommend burnt ends, which she described as "meat marshmallows", and she wasn't wrong. We felt lucky to find this place on our visit to the Lafayette area. Even though they aren't "in town", the experience is definitely worth the drive. If on a weekend, get a reservation. They were packed.

Went for a the Valentine’s Day special which was beef filet. The food was very excellent, steaks cooked exactly how we ordered them. Shrimp appetizer was very good. The service was a tad slow but the restaurant was full. We also ended up with an extra side because somehow they mixed up what the options were but the issue was quickly rectified. One of our favorite places!

Service was slow maybe due to lack of help. I had brisket which was pretty good but my side of green beans lacked any seasoning..even a little salt would have made them edible. However we will go back, because we have learned it’s a hit or miss here.
