    My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. When we got there, the hostess was rude and dismissive. She turned us away and told us to go wait by the bar even though we had a reservation. We waited 15 min to be seated and we’re extremely upset however the Manager came to our table and spoke to us. We ended up getting the best server! I apologize because I can’t remember his name but he took such good care of us. He completely made up for the mistreatment and we had a wonderful time. The hostess was out of line but the rest of the staff was phenomenal.

    The BEST steak ever! Right size, grilled crusty flavor on outside, tender moist interior. Garlic chips were addictive. Husband’s swordfish likewise delicious. Ice cream for dessert was delicious and generous. Can’t wait to go again.

    Had a group there for dinner. Service was wonderful...they added a few special touches to the evening that were unexpected. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Valet parking price was confusing....The guy handling it didn't do a good job explaining the validation/fee....other than that will definitely be back.

    Food and service were subpar- all the steaks (spencer, rib eye and filet mignon) were of poor quality (mignon was full of tendons) that were overcooked. Tartare was too coarsely chopped and tasteless. Final nail in the coffin for that night (Friday, 9/15/23) was the panacotta that lacked syrup and was too dense. We had a great experience at this place just a couple of months ago- so we visited a second time but it was a disaster this time. I wonder if there has been a change in chef. I am not going to go there again and spend hundreds of dollars for food that drastically varies in quality.

    We had the best dinner last night celebrating our 21st anniversary. Every staff member in the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The manager Sean and our server Christian absolutely made our night. We will be back soon!

    The best dining experience we’ve had as a family ever. And that’s saying a lot. Anthony was amazing and we will be coming back just to sit in his section. The attention to detail at every level of the meal is incomparable to any other restaurant in Sacramento. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

    First time eating there. Great experience overall. If I had to pick one thing I didn’t care for, the noise level. The bales are spacious so you never feel like it’s overcrowded with plates, but due to how large the tables are, people talk louder. Other than that, everything was amazing. Very personable, the manager came to our table and explained the food and mission of the restaurant.

    Enjoyed the ambience and service. Perhaps my fault, but I accepted the recommendation of the server, and ended up purchasing a Lower end steak… Which lived up to its price. Steak only mediocre.

    Everyone from the servers, manager, and runners were phenomenal. Super duper mega nice staff and food was to die for. Flavors were well put together in each dish and had me thinking about it that entire day.

    We were attending a concert at Golden 1. This was an early dinner, we had reservations and at 5:15 it was still empty. They tried to sit us in the very back of the restaurant where it was freezing cold. I asked for a different table, we have none we were told. We opted to sit in the bar area, had great service from the bartender and a great dinner. Recommend the crab cakes. Next time back there, I don’t know if we will go back.

    We have been here many times and the food never disappoints. Usually service is spot on but this time it was definitely off…. Hurried, water never refilled. We ordered a couple items with our drinks and said to leave a menu in case we wanted to order more. Water hurried by at one point and said “ looks like you have enough”. How rude is that? Plates taken away when we were actively still eating…I could say more, but I think I have said enough. I hope this is not the new trend!

    Late lunch before Golden One event. Restaurant was almost empty at 1:45 which kind of made us wary, but it was great. Very attentive staff, from the sweet girl at hostess to the knowledgeable waiter. Enjoyed the Ora Salmon cooked crispy and medium just how I asked and hubby had rib eye cap since it was lunch and portion is smaller than rib eye steak. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Got heirloom carrots ( did not care for the sauce) and a fried spinach salad which was plenty for two and different and delicious. Ordered the fries. Nothing special there guys. Perhaps some truffle dip or something to make them better than ordinary? Enjoyed a Cab and a Pinot and left happy. Lunch-$160 plus tip

    The manager and staff were so great especially during a crazy busy time with the Maluma concert starting as we arrived. Though there were large tables around our group of 3 was not overlooked and water glasses were never empty! The birthday dessert, pisco sour, and crab cake were all well received!

    Decent food, service, and ambiance. A bit noisy in there, so we were thankful to get a booth. If you're into cocktails, be aware that their house well bourbon has bacon fat essence in it. My partner's steak was a tad overcooked, but was reportedly still very good with the blue cheese sauce. The chips that came with it were bland, and the mushroom Rockefeller was the one thing we ate that had an off (bad) flavor, and didn't belong on the plate. My mac & cheese was fine, but nothing special (slightly gummy, grainy), but Tobasco helped it out. Kale salad with goat cheese, and mustard dressing was tasty. Gaspacho was fresh. Staff were very responsive and friendly. For our first visit, we received a free dessert, which was an unexpected treat!

    The server wasn’t professional. He kept rushing us to order food and didn’t come back to check on us regularly. After we paid, I couldn’t grab his attention to validate my parking ticket. Rude!

    From the time we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks. We were seated by Lesley who was friendly and professional. Another staff member provided an overview of the menu offerings while our staff server attended to a previous customer. Our server answered our questions regarding our dinner options. He blessed us with an anniversary glass of champagne 🥂. The manager on duty did not acknowledge us until we brought it to his attention. Other than that, the experience was great.

    Great food/service everyone was great I recommend ask for Nicholas. Tamahawk,Salmon, Crab Cake (taste was great I do think there should have been 2 same size maybe priced 50-60% higher for the second), Brussels Sprouts, Ice Cream with caramel and chocolate. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely come back. Drinks old fashion and Pig.. something both had proper amount of alcohol 100% on our come back list

    The service was good but the 38oz T Bone that we ordered medium came out rare and had to be re-heated. A couple of our ordered sides were forgotten too. The server was very nice and comped us a caeser salad (not good at all) and another salad at the end that was pretty good. This is the second time I’ve been here and both times a steak was not cooked correctly and had to be sent back. The appetizers we ordered (burnt ends, thick bacon, burratta) were all very good. My wife thought the Branzino was really good. So, some good and some bad. For a $375 meal I would expect the meal and experience not to be as flawed as it was. Not sure I will be back unfortunately.

    Great time visiting with friends in town for the weekend. Service was wonderful but the food was mediocre. Steak salad was depressing, steak frites was just okay, hash was pretty good. Our server made the experience very nice though!

    Steak salad was very mediocre portions, even double portions for the price. Had to ask for more variety of veggies because all it had was chopped romane lettuce and they forgot the avocado. However, they were very nice about the situation and probably knew we weren't too satisfied, so they waived our alcohol drink prices from the bill. We'd go back again for sure, but would order a different meal.

    The bar area has an all glass western exposure. Nice for light, not so much when it's 104 degrees at 5:00 PM. It was very warm, almost to the point of being hot. Service was outstanding! Food was very good, reasonably priced.

    This is one of our favorite restaurants in Sacramento. The service is absolutely outstanding. Every employee you interact with is fantastic. The food is great. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Gazpacho, but if you prefer delicate flavors you’ll love this one! It’s the only dish I’ve had there that I didn’t completely enjoy.
