Husband and I went to Echo and Rig to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered crab cakes which were decent. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and my husband ordered the ribeye. The grilled cheese was a disappointment, but that’s kind of my fault for ordering that at a steak place. We ordered the heirloom carrots which had absolutely no flavor to them what so ever and they were not presented like the menu described them. The garlic mashed potatoes were just alright. Nothing special. Our server was horrible. For a place trying to pull off fine dining the server definitely was a disappointment. We were checked on once. I felt that her server assistant/buss boy did more work than she did. I would have rather tipped him. At the end of the meal the runner mumbled happy anniversary and dropped off a complimentary dessert that I could not eat because there was caramel and peanut brittle all over. Hence in the beginning the server should have asked if there were any food allergies that she should have been aware of. I waited patiently for our server to show up to see what other desserts they offered but instead I got a check instead. When she started to drop the check I asked about the desserts and she said they didn’t have any on the menu but named off what we had just received and 2 other sundaes. I guess I was expecting more out of a place that I hear great things about from co workers but in the end I was really disappointed with the whole experience.

Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. 1st manager came and introduced himself to us as we were seated. Service, outstanding beginning to end. House made sausage-excellent, regular bacon cooked to just the right amount of crispness. Eggs cooked perfectly, French toast amazing. Waffle was good though nothing special, but the syrup was oh so good, hint of orange. Will we go back? Absolutely! And the birthday sundae given to us was delicious!

Beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent and prepared right. The staff was also excellent. For the quality of the food we were served. The price was very good. The sound level was kind of high and took a little while of being in the restaurant before your ears acclimated to the noise level.

You made our birthday outing very special. We loved the special attention, or perhaps just as normal. Our 4th time here. And constantly great service and good food. Oh…the comped side dish items were great. And then the surprise turtle sundae was completely unexpected. Over the top yummy.

Very excited to go here based what our friends had said. Celebrating a work promotion with three other people. Seated at 6:45pm, initially very welcoming by the waiter and manager. Ordered 4-5 sides for an appetizer, service kinda disappeared at that point, had to go ask a few people if we could order they didn’t take our entree order until 7:30, entrees didn’t come out until 8:30. Ordered $450 worth of sides and steaks, my $90 porterhouse came out pretty cold, like it had sat a while, my friends $120 medium rare tomahawk had a think burnt layer that made it pretty inedible. We were so late to get home for the babysitters that we just paid and left, didn’t raise any of the issues with the food to the manager or waiter. We didn’t raise a stink, but I was really disappointed with our experience. I know other people love this place though, maybe we just hit them on a real bad night.

Matt and Attisha (I am butchering the spelling) at the bar were amazing. Food was great but service was even better. These two along with “Young Jeremy” made the night. I can’t say enough about the bar environment. Not sure about the restaurant part because I wasn’t there but I had a wonderful experience at the bar. Food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Service was great! Food was good, and loved the menu with so many small plates to share. The noise level was almost painful and it was not even a full house. Acoustics need work. We will try dining in the bar next time and see if we will be able to have a conversation.

They brought flat water when we ordered sparkling. The server smoked and smelled like cigarettes from his breath and fingers as he explained the menu. It was so loud my husband and I couldn’t talk. The server forgot our oysters, but did bring them complimentary after we asked if they’d be coming. Our steaks were mediocre, but cooked correctly.

Not what we were expecting to loud can hear anything, waited for a while for a table with reservation and it was plenty empty ones, waiting time to get service was long, i specified on my reservation I wanted a surprise cake for my boyfriend they never did it… even though they ask if we celebrating something… very disappointed with staff and service… location is good to bad we might never go back

Very big open, room - very loud. The wrong steak was served, the waitress TOTALLY ignored us after that. The Manager came over, was awesome, took off my meal, AND gave a complimentary dessert. Food was very good, however.

Best meal in Vegas. Staff is exceptional: Austin, Matt and Alex. What fantastic texture in the spinach salad and the granola with the cauliflower. Steak was the perfect temperature and the best value in town. We will be back!

I have been to Echo & Rig several times and I have never been disappointed or, had bad service. It is always good. The ambience is soothing and beautiful. Service is immediate, courteous and friendly. The food is excellent. Will be going back for sure.

Echo and Rig was very nice atmosphere as far as esthetically pleasing. The food was good not fantastic as I expected it good nevertheless. The waitress told me they didn’t have Grand Mariner when I ordered my drink and I went to the bar and ordered it turns out they did have it. The hostess who sat us was friendly and polite, an older lady. Our server was not friendly, she never smiled, she was very stern, no conversation or anything. We asked for Worcestershire sauce and she brought out A1. Took quite some time checking in on us for more cocktails and food. So we had our entrees and one cocktail while we usually have many more. The place was very quiet, not upbeat. The manager did stop by after walking past a few times. We didn’t see the need to make a fuss. A very nice woman came over and greeted us eventually and grabbed some plates and talk to me about trying the Grand Mariner and pineapple juice I ordered. I had the 2 eggs breakfast which was standard and good. The jam for the toast was delicious. My partner has the steak frites and the steak was cooked perfectly. His Old Fashioned was standard at best. I’m sure this place wanted to be better and it probably will get better but my boyfriend thinks we should stick with the location on Rampart because it’s more upbeat, friendly and more of what we like when dining out.

Warren made us feel very welcomed. Our waitress and busser were on point with everything. Took my wife and son for lunch. My son and I ordered the burger which was delicious!! My wife had the short rib hash, delicious! Oh, and the portabella fries, deeelicious!We are slowly becoming “regulars “.😬

This was our third time at the new Henderson location. It was he first time thaat we were very disappointed. The main problem was that menu items that were available in the past were no longer available. On at least three separate occasions we were told that menu items were no longer available. Not even immediately but when we had ordered, and the waitress returned to tell us. Worst of all was the unavailability of Veuve Clicquot champagne, or any alternative champagne, by the glass. What kind of hi end establishment doesn't have champagne by the glass available? It was a most disappointing visit, especially because all the good menu choices were still printed on the menu. If you have decided to change from a hi-end establishment into a Sizzler type low end chain, at least change your menus.

I always enjoy Echo & Rig at either location. I’m glad they opened the newer location in the District since it’s near my home. I’ve been to the District location for lunch and dinner several times and have never been disappointed.

I’m not one to eat steaks or red meat. I woke up today craving a good steak. Not only did our sever assist me in picking the perfect cut, but it was prepared just wonderfully. My husband had the lamb chops which he definitely liked, but did think the serving was a bit small. Where the ambiance lacked, the manager on shift, and the server made up for.
