The best duck I’ve ever had. My partner had the potato gnocchi lamb shoulder which was equally as delicious. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance was great for a special occasion.
we felt like the quality of the food was less than the last experience. I hate giving less than 3 star reviews but we were disappointed. the restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside. Service is fine but I thought a bit pushy to order our entrees quickly.

My family dined at Ecco and enjoyed it very much. Greeted quickly by the hostess, seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. Waitress was attentive but not overbearing. We ordered the fried goat cheese and honey, a charcuterie board, the entrees included duck, pork blade, gnocchi, bass, and pasta. All were very good. Portion sizes were appropriate. Only thing I think that could use improvement would be a larger selection of wines by the glass.

Ecco was a favorite of ours years ago, but it had been 5+ years since we'd been. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed in the food.
We kind of made our own buffet - here is what we had:
-Fried Goat Cheese - a classic here, and still delicious. But it's fried cheese - how could it not be delicious??
-Speck Flatbread - the speck itself was delicious. The rest of the flatbread was disappointingly bland. The crust was really subpar - nothing more than a vehicle for toppings.
-Marguez Sausage flatbread - same comment - the sausage was good, the rest not so much. With so many great pizza places popping up in Atlanta over the last 10 years, I wouldn't waste time with the flatbreads here. Hoepfully it was just a bad night.
-Steak tartare - delicious overall BUT the aioli and other components were so potent, you could have spread them on the bread with no steak and gotten the same flavor. The steak completely disappears.
-Gnocchi - the lamb itself was tasty but the gnocchi, while nice and pillow-y, didn't taste like anything. The meat would be better served on bread.
Service was fantastic (shout out to John, who was funny and knowledgeable, and the Sommelier whose name I didn't catch who recommended a great wine based on our tastes).
Customers were nicely spaced in the restaurant and I felt safe during the COVID pandemic. The brioche custard dessert was amazing. scallops were also amazing. Enjoyed the goat cheese balls and pasta. Octopus was slightly over cooked but still good. Overall had a great experience.

Fries were way too salty , Brussels sprouts were warm not hot,pizza was just ok ...pasta was excellent , apps were very good ....server was pushing to hard and then settled down
Had a 915p reservation and was rushed the entire meal, which is my biggest pet peeve when dining out. Was told the bar was closing before we even got our main courses. Was in and out in 1 hour, so not like we were sitting at a table for hours.
I think we hot them on a bad night or we were just that table that had things go wrong. Our duck, scallops,and both vegetable plates we ordered were undercooked. They were really nice about it and did try to take care of us which was very sweat of them. The staff is great and the place is beautiful.
A beautiful meal outside overlooking the city. Unbelievable dishes-there wasn't one that disappointed. The server made great suggestions, starting with the signature cocktail of the night. Finally, the brioche coconut bun was the perfect finish...a must try. The whole experience felt very safe with all precautions taken by the staff. Will definitely return when we are in the area.

Ecco is a timeless Atlanta restaurant. This was my first dining experience at the Midtown location. It was a great experience. I’d highly recommend Ecco to anyone looking for great food and service in Atlanta.
John, the general manager, was very accommodating and helpful. He was able to seat our party a few minutes early on a very busy night for the restaurant. The restaurant felt very safe with tables adequately spaced and all staff wore masks throughout the evening.
P.S. The fried goat cheese is fantastic. I will be back for more!
Our Server, Michael, was excellent. He did a good job describing the specials and making accommodations. He was very attentive and on point all night. he helped to make a special occasion very special. The food as always was very good and creatively plated.
Server wasn't very friendly, and food wasn't as good as I've had before there. Steak didn't have much flavor
Ecco never disappoints. The crispy duck is my favorite entre and the feta for appetizer is just perfect. The fresh baked sourdough bread was on point. We always love Ecco, its such a treat.

Excellent ambiance and food. We tried the honey goat cheese appetizer with braised pork parpadelle and clam pasta, all of which were excellent. There was a nice 20 ft gap between each group of customers, which made us at ease given the pandemic. Plan on returning again.
