Great food, always consistent. Service at the bar and resturant were fantastic. Stephanie was superb!!
Food was awesome. Service was attentive but a little slow at times. They were very busy. Overall great experience. Food was amazing.
Great food - great experience - great restaurant!
The decibel reading in the restaurant at 9pm on a Wednesday was 87. (I use SoundPrint on my phone). That's very loud and is likely to cause permanent damage to employees with long exposure. Our table of 4 found it difficult to converse without raising our voices. My throat was quite hoarse by the end of the evening. My mild tints was roaring within 10 minutes in the room. I highly recommend the food. In warm weather I've eaten on the terrace and been able to have 4-6 person conversations. Inside, I think a table of two can probably lean in and hear each other comfortably enough. I've been inn the curtain-wrapped too for large groups and found it impossible to talk to anyone other than those immediately next to or across from me. With everyone else at the table doing the same the noise level rises uncomfortably. Sadly, I have a hard time recommending this to anyone who wants to have a conversation with more than one person.
Food to expensive for it’s mediocre quality. Environment was empty and weird.
Always great food and service at Ecco. My “go-to” in town since it opened.
We especially enjoyed our servier Lauren Bacall. She was very knowledgeable about many foods and other non-related subjects as well. She was also funny and very loyal to the Ecco brand. My friend who was with me is from Germany and he said it was the best restaurant he has eaten in that served European style food. Very good quality and slightly unusual recipes.
Ecco has a frenetic vibe and a dark dining room that captures the essence of pretentious, but don’t let that put you off. We have been here several times, and it is very good. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable, but there have been times when attention gets challenging because they are also ALWAYS busy. Food choices are quite diverse and appeal to a wide range of palettes. From pasta to steak to meat-and-cheese plates, Ecco has a creative menu and offers new items with each visit.
So visit the bar, have a drink, and dine in style at this too-chic-for-Atlanta hot spot... and don’t call them “French fries”, but rather “pommes frites”, which are fantastic by the way.
Delicious food incredible ingredients. You can easily have a lot of different small plates and apps for two and get out under $70 or go full entree and be around $100 for two
We were visiting Atlanta and wanted to dine at a restaurant in Mid Town. The Ecco looked like it had a good vibe and good reviews. The staff were lovely but the food was only average in each of our three orders. There are much better restaurants out there!
Fabulous as always. Ecco never disappoints.
Fantastic food, knowledgeable staff.
Nice service, good food however noise level quite high.
The smell when you walk in is unappetizing. Smelled like burnt oil and a fishy smell.
Sehr gutes Essen, aufmerksame Bedienung - top Empfehlung zu hohen aber angemessenen Preisen!
One of the best hostesses in Atlanta period Pressley
That combined with valet guy Heath and this place wins you over before you even order
It’s always a pleasure to dine here. Food is interesting and delicious; service impeccable and atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommend.
My girlfriends and I ate here before the Fox and it was so good! Harold did an incredible job attending to what we needed. The fried goat cheese balls were great as well as the artichoke flatbread!
disappointed. very expensive and limited menu choices. the food actually was quite good, but had trouble finding something I would like to order. service was a disappointment. we were told we had plenty of time to make our show at the fox. we ended up having 10 minutes to eat and barely made the start of the show.
My wife and I had a special night out and Ecco was a great way to spend it. The food was good and the service was excellent. Thanks
Worked out great, we stopped by before heading to The Fox for a show, service was great, food was tasty & they let us keep our car parked there until after the show.
I took 50 minutes to have our pre theater dinner served. It was a long and lonely wait for the 4 of us. When the food came it was very good.
We had reservations at 9:30pm. When we arrived, we were told the kitchen would close at 9:45pm since the restaurant closes at 10pm. Why would they let us make a reservation at 9:30pm? Food was good, but it's hard to have a great dining experience when your server says the restaurant will close in 30mins. Very disappointed.
This was our first visit to the midtown location after having eaten at the airport location a few times. It did not disappoint. The best aspect of the evening was our server, Lauren, who was knowledgeable and charming. We all had pasta; the rabbit ragout was quite good. The papardelle was also very tasty. The pea side dish, recommended by Lauren, is worthy of a standalone lunch item. The desserts (Paris Brest and sponge cake that I cannot name) were a great end to the meal. The cocktails and wine were also quite satisfactory (I expected them to be good), and the espresso with a twist was yummy. The noise level is less than many other midtown restaurants because the ceilings are not quite as high, and that was welcome. We'll be back!
We were headed to a concert and many customers were there headed to a play and the staff was so efficient and accommodating! The food was excellent.
Harold was a knowledgeable waiter about wine and the menu. He gave us options regarding our choices and our timeline. How nice! The duck heart appetizer was great. The duck entree was also good.
We sat outside and enjoyed the patio. The food was excellent although a bit small serving of Redfish. Very good salad and the Flatbread was very good. Service was timely and with a smile! We enjoyed Ecco and will return!
Ecco is fun and vibrant even on a Monday night. Our favorite parts were the wine and chacuterie!
The staff were so helpful and nice. They provided multiple recommendations. The fried goat cheese appetizer is something you do not want to miss. Food and service are excellent!!!
The atmosphere is nice and the food was very good. It was our first time back to eat at Ecco in 9 years so we enjoyed visiting again. The best thing we had was the charcuterie board. The flatbread was just OK. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Everything was excellent.
Great service from waiter and nice ambient environment for an anniversary or date night
Friendly restaurant. Liked the decor. Everyone helpful. Good food.
terribly disappointed! I had high expectations as their sister restaurant South City Kitchen is exceptional. The fish and the side dish was extremely salty. A different chef on Sunday?
I can't complain about Ecco Midtown even if I tried. Always great food, superb cocktails and exceptional service.
One of the best restaurants in Atlanta. The food and service were both truly amazing.
Amazing food and service!!!
Nice place, which I’ve been to before but not for years. The food is still quite good, as always.
When they got busy, though, there was a gap between first course dishes and the entree part of the meal - the kind of gap where you almost lose your appetite while waiting.
Our waiter (Eli?) was excellent. Very attentive, and we could tell he was mortified by the delay.
Overall, a positive dining experience.
